I wanted to mention please like this video Also, leave me a comment in the comment section below with what you guys think of this video But let's get into it now in this video I want to go in depth into pricing the top 10 most common handyman jobs now pricing varies From area to area. So what I'm charging for specific job may not be what you're charging It's really based on your own demographics And what your what I call your hourly need is as a handyman and if you don't know what that is I've created a great course for that Pricing 101 and you could find that I'll link that into the description below if you guys are interested in learning more about how to price handyman jobs But anyways in this video, I'm going to be referencing a video that I made a while back called the top 10 most profitable handyman jobs And in that video I talked about what I felt were the top 10 most profitable hanging in jobs I'm gonna link that video up here in the top So if you want to check that out, you can because I'm going to be referencing that throughout this video So I'm going to be going through What I feel are the the top 10 most Profitable handyman jobs and telling you exactly how I price them and how I come about them The number one most common handyman job that I want to talk about is repairing or replacing a toilet. So to Replace a fill valve and a flush valve in a toilet. Typically I charge $100 labor and about $20 parts So that gives you about 120 dollars total for that job and typically doing that takes about 15 minutes to install a new toilet Just a basic new toilet 2-piece toilet. I charge 150 dollars for labor and really there's no materials in it because oftentimes everything comes included in the box and that simple toilet change out typically takes 30 minutes to an hour depending on your skill level and also the availability of everything now Obviously that varies a lot that is for a typical two piece toilet I find though are a lot easier to replace than a one-piece toilet Just because you kind of got to break your back bringing in a one-piece toilet So two-piece toilet is a whole lot easier to manage and you know set the gasket on and everything like that the second most common Handyman job is ceiling fan replacements and for that especially here in the summer in Sacramento We get a whole lot of ceiling fan replacements. So typically opt for that I charge $150 labor and $0 material. You might throw in a few wire nuts here They're if they're not any in the box. Normally they're in the box normally everything you need is there with a ceiling fan and typically that takes 30 minutes to an hour as well to replace depending on your skill level and Also, the price can vary a whole lot depending on the height of the fan and helping the fan is and things like that And obviously if there's not already a fan installed that is going to be another Another job in itself to install a new fan a new ceiling fan with all new wiring and new junction box and everything like that Typically, I charge $350 for labor and $50 around $50 for materials and typically that job takes about 3 to 5 hours depending on On your skill level and also the availability of everything. There's a lot of factors that go into pricing. So these are just typical pricing kind of ballpark ideas the third most common handyman job is Replacing a simple light fixture now Typically, I charge about $100 for labor and zero dollars for material in this also Sometimes there might be a few wire nuts installed as well but that's all stock material after all and Typically that takes about 15 minutes to do the fourth. Most common handyman job is faucet replacement and in particular kitchen faucet replacement So typically to replace a kitchen faucet with a brand new one is a hundred and fifty dollars now This is obviously the customer supplying their own kitchen faucet with ones that I have said that would fit into their Into their kitchen sink as well So I charge $150 for installation. That is labor and $0 material and typically that takes 30 minutes to an hour Now if you do need to replace an angle stop underneath your kitchen faucet, typically I charge $75 Labor and about $15 materials per angle stop and that takes typically fifteen to thirty minutes now obviously all these all these prices will definitely differ depending on your location and the the ease of Accessibility of every job that you are doing the fifth. Most common handyman job is dryer vent cleaning and for this job I typically charge somewhere between 125 175 dollars depending on the layout and things like that and these are Single-story homes that are typically vented through the roof So obviously there's no there's no material costs in there. So it's all 125 175 Materials and typically that takes 30 minutes to an hour the six most common Handyman job is TV mounting onto a wall now for this job most of the time people will supply their own TV mount so I charge about 125 dollars for labor and $0 material for this job And typically that job takes about 30 minutes to an hour Depending on your skill level now If you need to run wires through the wall, depending on the accessibility and things like that. It can range anywhere from 150 to 350 dollars depending on how your wall is and kind of what? Obstacles are going around the seventh. Most common handyman job is clearing clogged drains now obviously here I'm talking about like a kitchen sink drain or a bathroom drain Something that isn't doesn't look indicative of any further issues down the road Maybe it's just the p-trap is all clogged up and the sink pop up valve needs to be cleaned out so for this job I typically charge 75 to 100 dollars labor and $0 material and if anything is needed like a new gasket or something like that I will charge them the price of that as well And typically that job takes about fifteen to thirty minutes depending on your skill level and accessibility The number eight must common handyman job is gutter cleaning and for this job I typically charge in a range from About a hundred and ten dollars to one hundred and fifty dollars depending on how many gutters they have now this is for a typical like 1200 square foot single-story home and Really that should take you maybe about 30 minutes to an hour depending on Accessibility and your skill level the ninth most common handyman job is replacing electrical outlets in light switches so for this job I typically charge $75 for labor and about $5 on average for materials per outlet Typically that takes about 15 to 30 minutes depending on your skill level as well. The tenth most common handyman job is Fixing broken fence posts and the way that I do that Here and that is very economical that a lot of people purchase is installing galvanized fence posts next to the fence and for this job I typically charge about a hundred and forty dollars for labor and about thirty dollars in materials and Typically that job takes about thirty minutes to an hour depending on the soil level and things like that Now if you guys want some more information on these particular jobs that I've talked about I have made a video Pertaining on these specific ones called the ten most profitable handyman jobs.
