the animation is modified save the animation has been modified if now I place the animation in the scene we click on play and we see here the animation working as you can see my character does not have the same idle animation as the modified one because it has the original idle placed this modification can be done in any animation it is as simple as that apart from this you can also modify the speed maybe you want the animation to go faster or slower simply go to rate scale which is set to 1. if we raise it the animation will go faster if we lower it it will go slower this would be the simplest way to modify animations but we have a more complex and detailed option it would be using the control rig for this we would have to use a sequence here we select add level sequence we choose the folder where to save it when the sequence opens select the animation from track ER to sequencer and here you have the animation of the scene all this appears here this of the left is not necessary I close it here you will see that all this appears to you with all the circles for the movement if you have a character that you want to modify all the whole animation more complex movements with this it will go better and you can make it from zero if you want to modify an already existing animation you select here and you remove it delete and in animation you add the animation that you want to modify in this case it is the idle 2. here we have the animation you will see the animation bar and you will have to match it at the end of the sequence you can lengthen the animation or shorten the time of the sequence it depends on what you are interested in then once the animation is placed right click here and bake to control rig select this create and you have again the circles to modify this animation before we also have the circles but to create an animation from zero with this animation we can modify the Bones from here too for example we can make it lift the arm from the beginning to the end inside the mannequin we have all the bones if we want to modify the movement of the arm we look for it in the list of the bones the lower arm when you click on it it is selected here we have all these triangles that are the keys if we want to modify it we have to delete them and replace them with others I will leave the first triangle to keep this position as the initial one let's move the arm from here to here we move the bar to the end to place the last position we want it to be we move the arm up to the final position that we're interested in something like this now we give the heat to add the key if we press play we see how it passes from the first key to the last one if we want to make it faster we can shorten the animation we can make it last until here now it does it in two seconds instead of four and a half and you can add keys to make the animation more complex you can move the bar and when you want to add a key and move the arm to another position so that it passes through that position in the middle of the animation I also take this opportunity to explain a detail if we look for the arm here it says arm right and left this is deactivated from base we were modifying the right one so we selected the right one but imagine that instead of rotating it as we have done imagine that we wanted to move it another way I'm going to look for lower arm again if we wanted to move it it makes a deformity but if we wanted to move the whole arm as a whole and not just one bone we come back here and we activate this it goes back to the normal position and now if we move it we see how it moves the whole arm as a whole if we turn it off it would be to move specific points if you set it to true you can move the whole thing to modify it faster and more realistically now that we have the animation we save it selecting here right button bake animation sequence we save it in the folder that we want I modify the name idle 3 export animation the sequencer can be removed to this same mesh we can place the animation that we have created for example animation asset I look for the idle 3. if we press play we can see the animation working and here
