This video is showing to create a toon style shader with Aronld render in Maya, Please subscribe this channel, more video will be shared with you. Started with the 3D model that built before. You can find another video in this channel that showing how to build this 3D model. Delete the history of modelling Set the Arnold render and change to "Contour" Preview the render, but in dark because these is no light in the scene. Add a light Build a plane here, to make it looks like standing on a floor Make it to be backdrop. Now, assign to the whole 3D model into aiToon Shader You can find an outline around the model. Here, you can adjust the thickness of the outline. Adjust the number of outline that will be showed. Change its color Mapping to "ramp' to set the gradient change. Switch it to "none" Adjust to more gradient change. Add the highlight reflection reduce this unwanted line Now, I am trying to add variation of thickness of line. Therefore, the line has different thickness. And then, adding dotted halftone. Oops! I am clicking the wrong mapping. I am correcting the mapping. You can skip this and jump to 3:26s. Now, start to apply dotted halftone again. This is showing how to add dotted halftone . And creating another color toon shader. This is what the Toon style shader setup. Thanks again for watching.
