Happy Valentine's Day everybody Happy Valentine's Day I killed a dough the last day of the season was the tth and it's got it dressed in the refrigerator and matter of fact my cousin brought one this morning that had been uh hit by a car so went ahead and dressed it too so we're going to make a plenty of jerky so said told everybody on Instagram I was going to do a jerky video so this is so this is this what we working on right here we got about 15 lbs of ground went ahead and Cubed the back straps and everything just tenderized those so put those in the freezer so now we're going to make some jerky but it's jerky yeah pepper jerky with the jerky gun yep oh The Big C gun that's what we're using right there I've already yeah I've already tried this before it's really good so that's what we're working on y'all hang in there we're fixing them make some jerky and we got the little dehydrator over here that we're going to put it in okay all right if this is 15 lbs I'm going to say that's five right yep close okay all right yall work it in there good burger right there that's a that's a Paul bunion Burger that's a u Burger you that's right I could eat that thing I bet that would be good we had never tried it but you could put that seasoning in there it would be good and just make burgers I mean we've done it with that sausage seasoning yep smoke sausage seasoning just take put the seasoning in there and make your Burgers too short for this jerky Cannon 14,000 right here and this is one more pain in the hind end to put it in this little tube but I've already tried to open it up and put it in there and that don't work either so I've sort of figured it out you roll it yeah roll it and just slide it in there where it can get air bite like I just didn't do yeah get a little air bite cuz it'll get down it'll have air behind it it's a pain it is a a pain look at this look at this little fell there's our little F fly trap right there look at him he's working you get it boy so cute yeah Valentine's Day in South Alabama and we got lizard yeah reptiles is already stirring wow look at that y'all look at that look kind neat of a job I do with it though that's what's Good Very this is a professional right here jerky Cannon stuffer right here take notes folks giving me crap look at that quit giving me crap yeah you trip over that chair behind you look at that y'all look that's extra seasoning yummy all right now I don't have a pattern here so we're going to do like long look at that oh yes going for spirals like bacon it does look like bacon I wonder if we did a smokey flavor like bacon you could you could probably cure bacon with this same mix have peppered bacon that would be good we could do a maple bacon of course we could anything to do with maple syrup this girl right here is all about it all about it you can't go wrong with maple bacon it's like candied meat it's delicious if you have an air fryer you can also use an air fryer to dehydrate that has a setting most of them anyway or you can do it in the oven yeah you don't have to have this yeah [Music] there it is so how long do you usually do this for oh it says on here I think I can't see you can H out my glasses dehydrator 4 to 6 hours at 160 it takes a while smoke houses about 4 to 5 hours turned out really good we didn't kill the Kayo see this folks so good it is so good now we have snacks for our coyote tomorrow it did say on the on the bo box that you can mix a half a cup of water per 5 lbs of meat we did not do that because it makes it faster to dehydrate if it doesn't have the moisture content in it but I guess if you had a little bit more moisture in it it would probably evenly distribute the seasoning or whatever through the meat but yeah anyway we didn't we didn't add the uh we didn't add the water but it turned out good turned out really good yeah so the 3 hours yeah a little over yeah 3 hours yeah 3 hours the bottom one's going to dry out faster than the top so what you do is you just take it off and then just restack it and then that way you're going to get it all about even so 3 hours and the Bottom's done I mean it could be it could probably be a little less on the bottom this is the bottom rack yeah yeah but the top rack was still it was still pretty moist but this is like uh bacon yeah and you don't break your teeth on it which is nice yeah oh yeah oh it's the only way to go and look at the look at this oh yeah that's the good stuff right there it is it looks like bacon it does look like bacon I really think it's better than bacon it tastes it tastes like the perfectly cooked piece of bacon yep and I've got to quit eating it because that's what I'll do is sit here and eat this Valentine's dinner she's cooking Valentine's lasagna
