[Music] hey hey hey guess what we're getting ready to make yep fried plain tangs i have two here with me um they're dark in color the darker they are the sweeter they are and we're going to add brown sugar and we're going to fry these babies up and let's get started i'm going to first cut and off is i used to try to cut down the center of it cut down there kind of it's not as easy to peel as a banana because the skin is very hard so you got to give it a little help [Music] but these are delicious and they're very good with jerk chicken all right when i slice them i like to kind of slice them i usually try to do it together and slice them on an angle [Music] that way it looks a little has a little character to it but i love these things and guys make sure you don't pick up a banana they don't act the same so you got to get a plain [Music] all right [Music] all right our grease is hot so i'm going to go ahead and just place them in all right they're all in the skillet we're going to let them sit for a minute and then we're going to add a brown sugar once i flip them over guys if you can smell this coconut oil it just smells so good the fragrance of the coconut oil is just delicious it's deliciousness all in one i can't wait i can't wait all right these are ready to turn over so let's see how they're looking on the bottom okay looking pretty brown yeah flip them over all right flip and get that one over all right [Music] all right gotta cook some more okay now i'm going to remove these from the pan and then add my sugar and my butter all right i've removed them from the skillet and i've added two tablespoons of butter i'm gonna add my sugar this is two tablespoons of sugar brown sugar and this is what i did the last time guys i didn't i just put put them in the skillet with the butter and sugar and they kind of or caramelized but they weren't cooked all the way so i learned that that shouldn't happen so here we go i'm gonna put these back in the skillet because they're soft now and they're gonna get even softer with this sugar mixture all right still cooking let me see how they feel make sure they're soft yeah they're getting there they're about soft flip over okay these are all done so we're gonna get them out of the skillet looks good doesn't it smells good too oh baby please i'm about to taste one of these oh we it was so good can you see it it's hot you can taste them caramelize the sugar the plain time everything is balanced out you got to try this
