How to make OCR using Microsoft Power Automate | Convert PDF to txt | Image to txt | Power Automate

hello everyone welcome to my channel and this is fatiha and in today's video video we intend to see how to convert a pdf to text and also how to convert an image to text via ocr using microsoft power automate so it's an incredible app and it's for free you can just go ahead and download okay you can get if you have microsoft office account you can just simply open it up i'm showing how to from where you can install it first and then we can implement our project and here you can see power automate okay let's open it up and so from okay from my flows you can see this install button right in the upper right corner and here you can see power automate desktop so you can install it from here okay i have it so i won't install it and after the installation you can set it up it might take a few minutes okay next and then by selecting install we agreed to microsoft terms of use it's gonna take uh no time okay so let's just launch our app okay we can see i have already tried my ocr but let's just create a new flow and if we can give it a name or even if we don't put a name here it will be auto generated so for now we can just test ocr you know we are gonna make a pdf first so let's just test pdf okay okay our things are getting ready okay so here we can have our test pdf from where we can cook it so for that first of all we need to search right okay okay no first we we will have here pdf okay we will extract text from pdf first so pdf file we can upload it from our desktop okay for now let's just put any of the pdf any pdf we can [Music] have okay let's just take it and then okay let's extract all the pages and i'll put my password here okay save so it will automatically extract our text from the pdf now after the pdf is extracted we need somewhere to store it right so we will write it on a text file okay write text to file here so file path we can store okay let's store it on the desktop oh sorry give it a name test pdf dot txt remember to put the extension and text to right we have our extracted pdf text which will be our uh yeah which will be our text for the file and let's just save after we are pretty done now we'll make something cool it will be our display okay display message so when we are done we will simply generate a text named flow success fully completed yeah okay let's just put an emoji here okay so save it and then run it's super fast oh flow successfully completed okay so we are done now we are going to check it from our desktop yeah can you see this testpdf.txt file so let's just open it up okay now for now let's let me show you what was the pdf file what was inside the pdf file so it was this one and it was my offer letter okay so let's see how well it generated the pdf so can you see it extracted all the all the informations and yeah we're done it was so simple and so easy so we are done with creating our test pdf which extracted text from our pdf file now let's just create uh our an ocr for that okay let's create a new flow which will be test ocr and create so after things are getting ready we will be landed onto the same interface and yeah here on the bottom left we could see this ocr and we will just drag and drop this texture extract text with ocr and we will be using tesserat engine remember we will be using tesserat engine for this and our oca ocr source will be image on disk so let's just okay find an image okay what to choose or to choose [Music] okay no it's taking some time is there anything on my device okay let's just take this and save so after we have extracted the text we can what we did before just to write write text to file okay let's select a file path let's keep it on desktop and it will be test ocr okay and the thing we will write is this ocr text let's keep everything as it is and we will just display the message again and if you want you can just delete this display message part okay we are done let's just simply run this okay we we're done so let's just check okay let me first show you what i used for this uh i didn't mistake i should have kept the image i just don't remember whether it was this one or not as far as i remember i took this image to to the ocr so let's check our desktop if the file is here yeah it is generated right here and we will open it up using wordpad okay using word i didn't give the extension and that's why it's showing right like this okay alhamdulillah so take a deep breath and let's get back to our work and that's what we got so we are done with converting our pdf to text and our image to text so hope you like this video and if you did please make sure to subscribe to my channel and you can comment for whatever content you uh might want to see for next i hope you liked it and goodbye allah hafiz so on this point i will take a deep breath and get back to work i have a quiz tomorrow okay allah hafez
