How to Make NFT Digital Art for Beginners (2022)

how to make nft digital art for beginners hi guys welcome back to the channel today i'm going to be showing you how you can create your own nfd digital art for free as a beginner so you don't need any experience or any coding we will be just creating simple pixel nft for free uh to sell online so let's get started now first of all what i'm gonna do is i'm gonna simply go to google and i will just select any of the image that i want to for example i am going to be creating a christmas nft that i just got an idea and i thought that i should create one so i will be creating a pixel nft with a christmas tree so what's gonna happen is as a beginner and if you do not have any experience like i don't i'm not a graphic designer or i do not you know no drying or anything so what i'm gonna do is i'm gonna use any of the google images as a base as an inspiration so i'm gonna you know select any of the images so i just google searched christmas tree cartoon and i'm gonna you know select this one because i think that the shape is pretty good and i will be able to you know trace it better so all i have to do is just you know save this image to my computer so i can use it later okay the image has been saved great so the next step will be i will go to resize image.net which is completely free and i am going to resize my image so what you're going to do is you have to just upload the image so i have uploaded the image right here so you can see the image size is pretty big right so what i'm going to do is i'm going to uncheck the keep aspect ratio and make it 32 by 32 so it will be easy for me to work and it will be in nft after that i'm going to change it to png okay great it is already in png so once i have resized the image all i have to do is click on resize image and then i'm gonna go ahead and download image from here now my image is downloaded great the next step is come to pixelart.com completely free and amazing platform to create pixel nfts or pixel art and we will be creating our pixel nft right here so you don't even have to sign up for this one all you have to do is just click on start drawing and it will you know take you to your canvas where we will be creating our digital art so this is pixelart.com now i will simply click on file new and from new i'm gonna actually open an image that i already have there you go this is our image actually this is not our image i'm gonna go ahead and select the resized image great there you go and you can see that now i have this image in the form of pixels and now i will trace this image out and at the end we'll actually you know remove this image because this is not ours i got it from google we will just simply use it as a base and work on it so first step is i will simply click on add layer and in the first layer i'm going to trace it with a black pencil i think the black looks pretty good you can go ahead and trace it with any other color that you like so i'm gonna simply drag my mouse and trace it so let me just you know trace it real quick and after that i will show you how my image is looking so yeah guys i have just traced out the image that i had the image of a tree that i selected right so all you have to do is you just select a new layer from here and we work in layer because it's better for art and to create the pixels it it's better to work in layers right so what i did was you just select the layers and then you first i traced out the with the black one and then you just trace out whatever was in the image and once it's done then you just color the background right now i am coloring the background blue because i thought that it'll look good so working with pixels is super easy because you know each pixel is individual pixel and you can color it change it uh so it's super easy to work with pixels so once you have done your image you can see right here this is how it looks christmas tree that i wanted to create it's looking pretty good right uh the kind of nft that i wanted if you want to you know make it more professional looking of course you will add all the elements that you want to for example you can add all the elements from here for example you can you know select different tools of square and circle and you can just go ahead and lighten and darken if you want to if you want to add a gradient you will add from here and then there is protein that you can actually add so you can you know play around as much as you want to there are hundreds of colors to choose from you can you know select from any of these colors and then you can check out the layer view from here and if you want to add a layer you simply click on this plus icon and the layer is added if you want to delete any layer you will click on delete and if you want to duplicate it if you want to merge two layers into one another you will simply click on merge so you can you know select from colors right here so it's super easy to use pixelart.com and you just play around with it if you are a good artist you don't need any base image to work on as i am not that good so that's why i used an image to trace it out and create my tree so once my tree is created kind of let's just add maybe a few of more elements and let's make it a little better i guess so you can go ahead and add any of the elements that you want for me i think it looks pretty good uh very simple looking nft that i just created a pixel nft and it's looking pretty good to me uh pixel art is super easy to use and you know your way around now so once your image is created all you have to do is just click on download and when we click on download we will be able to change the size again if we want to within height i have 32 by 32 and the download will be png now your nft could be anything jpg uh jf or png whatever file you want to save i have created a png nft uh that i will be saving so all i have to do is just click on download png and my nft will be downloaded and after that i can just go to any of the platform for example i can just simply come to variable.com or openc uh whatever platform that you are using now you will be able to mint your nft right here now you know how to create an nft for free and after that you can just simply sell it so yeah guys it was super easy all you have to do was just you know select a base image from google if you are a good artist you don't have to do that skip this step after that resize your image if it's too big once your image is resized come to pixelart.com and create your amazing pixel nfts for free and then sell them on any off nft marketplace so once your pixel nft is created you can actually create any of the nfd that you want to but mostly we create nfts that could you know actually sell and pixel nfts are mostly you know trending and when we go to any marketplace to sell our nfts we will actually see uh that pixel and ft's are actually in demand and when it comes to creating your own digital nft then you can definitely create a pixel one for free by this method now you can see all of the features are completely free on pixelart.com so it will not bother you at all to you know kind of buy a plan or pricing or to even sign up you don't even have to sign up and you can just you know create your nft so one more thing if now before i save it all you got to do is you simply go to any of the nft uh marketplace and you can actually you know check out what's trending now my purpose of creating this christmas tree is because christmas is near and i just thought that it will be a very fun and cool idea to create an nft that is actually gonna be you know trending and people will actually you know search for it and it will be more relevant so before creating any nft you can just simply go to any of the platform and check out what nft you should actually create and what are the nfgs that are actually trending what are different programs if you want to you know create a digital nft for example
