How to make Meatballs and Spaghetti

[Music] [Applause] here was superb I am jolly and today I'm going to be showing you how to make my delicious homemade meatballs and spaghetti this recipe calls for about 24 0 4 to 5 ounces of pasta sauce and with near 1 pound of spaghetti this recipe can see up to six or more people let's get started okay this is all what you're going to need to make your meatballs and spaghetti and we're going to get started what I ingredients you're going to need two pounds of lean ground beef and along with that even I need some flour eggs three cans that's about 45 ounce of tomato sauce no salt added and some salted butter and you're also going to need some Parmesan cheese and some sugar and for your seasoning you're going to need some salt some Tony saturates Creole seasoning not you don't have that you can use these data ranch Creole seasoning or they slap your mama Creole seasoning and along with that you're going to need some shell pulpit on support genetic and some onion and garlic powder and for your additional seasoning you're going to need one yellow onion garlic fresh basil fresh oregano fresh card and you're also going to need some fresh parsley and for your spaghetti you're going to need one pound of thin spaghetti and for your meatballs you're going to need an eleven by seventeen inch baking pan and the reason why is because you will be baking our results for this recipe and there we have it let's get straight to it chop one yellow onion chop five cloves of garlic here we have some fresh basil remove the leaves off the stem of the basil Bunch all the leaves together chop basil until it resembles coarse crumbs here we have some fresh oregano we're going to remove the leaves off the stem Bunch all the leaves together you're going to chop all of the oregano leaves make sure you chop it very fine and set resembles coarse crumbs like how you see here here we have some fresh thyme remove the leaves of the stem of the thyme chopped the thyme leaves up chop it very fine until it resembles coarse crumbs like how you see here here we have some fresh parsley we're going to chop the partial visa you make sure you chop the parsley leaves up very fine and tear it resembles coarse crumbs like how you see here here I have two pounds of ground beef and add some seasoning add two teaspoons of salt two teaspoons of telling accessories Creole seasoning 2 teaspoons of chef Paul domes watching magic using your hands make sure you're wearing gloves mix all the ingredients together add 2/3 cup of chopped yellow onion 1 heaping tablespoon of chopped garlic 1 tablespoon of fresh oregano and one tablespoon of fresh thyme using your hands make sure wearing gloves mix all the ingredients together add 1/4 cup of flour using your hands make sure you're wearing gloves mix all the ingredients together adding the flour prevents the meatballs from breaking apart during the baking or frying process here I have 1 large egg and we're going to mix that add it into your ground beef using your hands make sure you're wearing gloves mix all ingredients together free your oven to 325 degrees now to form and shape our meatballs here I have a ice cream scoop just going to scoop up a little bit of deep ground beef place it into the palm of your hands and roll it into a ball and that's how it's going to look when we're done now for this recipe it's going to call for you to have about 24 meatballs now you can make between 20 to 24 million size meatballs and if you want the very small meatballs like the miniature ones you can make up to about 40 to 45 of the rules before this recipe we're only going to be making about 24 and that's how many I have right here not at the meatballs our form you're going to take them and add them onto your baking pan now they're ready to be baked place into a preheated 325 degree oven and you're going to bake them for 20 minutes after 20 minutes remove your meatballs out of the oven here we have our meatballs after we just taken them out of the oven and what we're going to do now we're just going to let these meatballs cool while we prepare the pasta sauce pre-heat your fire to medium-high heat add three tablespoons of salted butter spread butter along the bottom of your pan let the butter melt add 3/4 cup of chopped yellow onion and one heaping tablespoon of chopped garlic there all ingredients together we're going to let this saute for 5 minutes add your 45 ounces of pasta sauce they're all ingredients together add two teaspoons of salt 1 & 1/2 tablespoons of sugar 1 teaspoon of chef poppadoms what's your magic 2 teaspoons of onion powder 2 teaspoons of garlic powder 1/8 cup of fresh basil 1/8 cup of fresh oregano and 1 tablespoon of fresh thyme they're all ingredients together now the sugar is added to cut the assets of the tomato sauce add one tablespoon of butter and 1/2 cup of water they're all ingredients together now at this point you want to go ahead and case test your pasta sauce to see if it's at your desired flavor that you want and if it's not you can add a little bit more seasoning if you like but don't add too much add your meatballs they're all ingredients together you're going to cover this you want to make sure that you have a lid okay and you're going to let this simmer for about 15 minutes then about 15 minutes now and as you can see that's why I chose you to have the lid because that pasta sauce will pop all over and our pasta sauce and our meatballs are now done turn your fire off and at this point if you like this is totally optional you can add some Parmesan cheese free your fire to medium-high heat in a large pot here I have 1 gallon of water let the water come to a ball add 3/4 of a pound of the spaghetti before you add it make sure you break it in half then you add the spaghetti into the water you're going to let this bowl for about 8 to 10 minutes after about 8 minutes you're going to taste-test the spaghetti to see if it's at your desired texture and is ready turn your fire off we're going to take the spaghetti and we're going to strain it rinse the spaghetti with cold water return your strainer back on top of your pot place a lid on top let's sit until most of the water is absorbed from the spaghetti treat your fire to medium-high heat add 3 tablespoons of salted butter bread butter along the bottom of the pot let the butter melt when the butter melts you're going to turn your fire off add your spaghetti they're all ingredients together add two teaspoons of garlic powder three tablespoons of Parmesan cheese and two tablespoons of chopped parsley they're all ingredients together and our garlic parmesan pasta is now ready to store your meatballs and spaghetti place into a airtight container and keep in the refrigerator at all times your meatballs and pasta sauce can be stored in your refrigerator for about seven days in the freezer it will lasts about a good month here is the final presentation and there you have it homemade meatballs and spaghetti ah that's how we're eating Hitler Cheers hmm man the meatballs nice so flavorful then you have that pasta sauce and in the spaghetti with a call it came from John damn
