got a bigger bag of my wife so I got off work with Home Depot got supports and as you can tell by the title I'm going to show you how to make one of those crawfish wash buckets or game meat wash buckets you know for any kind of wild game duck turkey deer your fish the crawfish so let's get home I'll show you how to make so this is a you know y'all seen them out there $60 first seventeen gallon book to rope handles could be more could be less but still where I'm at there's like four dollars in what was above like 79 cents or something yes 17 gallons I stopped by wires running around for work today the other parts I need and then you'll see as we put it together I'm talking about so this is what will be my dream plug right here just PVC half-inch what I'm going to do with this drill a hole put this side going into it and then this side the one I'm going to use for a stopper so I'm gonna have to drill such a big hole and then we'll put silicone around the inside and the outside this is going to be the plug screw it into there they're good together I think this was like like 45 cents for that like a dollar ten for that so I made a little almost two bucks with thanks for those two that's gonna be a drain plug I don't want to get a big drain plug because I they're gonna let more worn out than what the water holes could keep open so that's half inch and then I got the threaded side so if it does not keep it with it I can reduce it down to smaller sizes so that's for taking part break it I'll show you it's an elbow it's a 90 degree elbow once that's thirty three quarters other sides five eighths so goes from 3/4 to 5/8 it's a 90 degree elbow but it has a hose barb on the other side of the elbow I'm reducing it from 3/4 to 5/8 so it has more pressure and you'll see what I mean that this was 4 bucks and you got to have a hose adapter at the female-to-male 3/4 by 3/4 and get it set out see this was 4 bucks so those like 10 bucks there and the most expensive part was this bulkhead right here 3/4 3/4 bulkhead as much this part I think this is like 15 16 bucks the tax and I want to use this instead of trying to get little pieces like the but I want to use this instead of something like a bunch of PVC where you got to put silicon and all this and that cuz all the time silicon and the gluey wear out and start leaking and you got to redo it all this let me show you if you know what a bulkhead in this is it so you buy these they come with rubber gaskets and every starts leaking that's on that time I can't get that grease we got that on the tire okay yeah I don't know but that was a pain we're back as you seen for some reason I couldn't get that to unscrew but we got it I had to soak it in some hot hot water and use pliers to get it off because we tried to do some flies still couldn't get it off whatsoever so I had to soak it in some hot water and then we were able to just get it off so this is the bucket I'm going to show you what we got done so far that's the part that's the most expensive part right there you drill a hole I drilled I'll show you right here with this get my drill yes yeah one and a half inch and then the threads on the back of this the threads on the back of this bulkhead will just kind of push through and screw on there and then if you get a shot of it then the washer the rubber washer another side the nut screws on and it will flatten it out and then that's all you do is put it on there hand tight and because we were waiting for that to soak I'm gonna put in the drain plug and we're going to do that and there's that side on the inside and here's the outside that's that half inch pretty much just like a female male this side is a female the insides male half inch and then here is your half inch plug I've done that because that's going to be the drain you see I put a little bit of caulking or caulking silicone clear around it on the outside and someone inside got to let it dry but I've done this and made sure I got a threaded one so if so if the water hose can't keep up with this if the water hose can't keep up with this then I can reduce that down from a half inch to smaller size like a 5/8 or three-eighths to where if that's draining to faster than water holes don't keep this full and agitating but okay so that's the drain plug and then if I need to I got threads on the inside of the drain plug I can put something else to it this piece that's the 90 degree in a bowl 3/4 the 5/8 it reduces with the hose barb right you don't have to do this but I've done it because this is long to do with it right here simple and it'll work put in that tight and we'll point it up at an angle like that a little bit and then just reduce so it's gonna have a little bit more pressure but that way as you see it's painful to up as the one that's coming out it's hitting this side so the churn the water and not only that it'll make it a whirlpool and then the course on the outside over here Henry the hose adapter both so this is our hose adapter right here in our water holes that side goes on the water hose and then the just go screw in there just like that and then eventually later on I'm thinking about getting the valve that I probably have to get like a little nip or something a 3/4 by Cole I'm 34 to buy clothes nipple to put in here put the valve on come out put this on there and we're sitting here talking as she's hammering up the side yep but anyways so that's all that is that is it 1 2 3 4 5 6 parts to make this and all in total it costs me about 32 bucks that's it for the tub like I said the most expensive part was that bulkhead it's easier to do that and quicker and it just works better that's what they use on horse drops and stuff like that they seal better then if you were to try to put something like this on that side and connect to it with the silicone the weight of the hose and the move and all that will eventually mess it up but for this side for it to just sit there and drain the silicone stuff would be fine but that's it we'll let it dry maybe tomorrow we'll get some shots of it working and show you what it does alright so we got it all together we let it sit for a couple of days to dry put the silicone on the drain plug so here we go we got the hose hookup down here on the bulkhead it just dripping a little bit I ain't really worried about that that's because I just didn't put it in there really tight just to check it out on the inside you see the bulkhead and our little ninety with the hose barb reduces from 3/4 to 5/8 and over here is our drain plug and then we'll show you all that in a minute it's it's not at all so I'm gonna let this build up soon and show y'all and that's why I reduce it to three quarters to 5/8 for some pressure I'll let it fill up so much and then we're gonna pull the plug out which is over here hello and see if the water hose can keep up with it so don't drain it down but it's not like I wanted to got some pressure you know see it's still got pressure see it bubbling that's making water do a Whirlpool hen it's turning it it's exactly what I wanted to do I'm about to pull the plug out and see if the water hose keep up with it Roza plug its drain in we got the waterholes still connected with that plug going on we filled it up just above the line so we're going to run it for a couple minutes and see and for the key book with it so as it's turning and doing this the dirty water and stuff will come out down there once you see your water coming out down there and it's clear then that means it's you're the fish game whatever crawfish are clean he's hot but anyways it's it's doing the job so it's working but that's how you make the homemade a wild game cleaner very very cheap like I said I think I paid like 32 bucks for everything compared to the cheapest like I think I said was 58 that I found up to $80 yeah the bucket was $5 at Walmart the most expensive thing was the bulkhead at Home Depot 14 15 bucks and I got the hose adapter the 90 which is a 3/4 for this to 5/8 hose barb 90 1/2 inch drain plug and then the threaded plug to put it into that that's it
