today i'm going to be teaching you how to make a ps1 style oak tree in blender 2.9 the first thing you want to do is get rid of everything in your scene then hit shift a go to mesh and add a cylinder then go to the bottom left and change your vertices to six then go to your front face view pull up the cylinder go into wireframe mode and then pull in the vertices to make some sort of a cone then go to the top of the vertices on that cylinder hit e to extrude upwards and keep going until you make a point all the way at the top then duplicate the mesh scale it down a little bit and randomize all the [Music] branches once that's done drag them on top of the tree and start adding variation to your branches these can go anywhere and there's no specific number of branches that you need to have you can make as many as you want then hit shift a add a cube go to modifiers and add a subdivision to that cube then you can drag these cubes onto the tree and change their location rotation and scale once you're done with that get a bark texture and then scale it down to 256 by 256 then make a new material change it to diffuse bsdf and hit open that texture should now be on that mesh but obviously the uvs are messed up so this is the time where you're gonna have to be applying all the textures to each individual branch and onto the leaves and fixing all your uv's up for the leaves the same thing create a new material call it leaves and change it to diffuse bsdf then open up your texture of the leaves and apply it to the mesh make sure that you set instead of linear it is set to closest once you're done with the materials grab all the meshes inside that collection and hit ctrl j to join everything together then hit shade smooth then go to object data properties shade it to auto smooth and drag it until it looks good enough and there you go you made a basic ps1 style oak tree in blender 2.9 thanks and have a great day
