How to install mods to a self hosted Valheim Server

hey guys so I thought I'd make a video to show how to install uh mods to your dedicated server that you're running yourself for Baja um start you'll want to download this uh the R2 mod manager uh you want to go to the game valheim it's going to have you create one of these little profile things you just create the profile um to get the mods you want to go to online select whatever mods you want you'll want this one to have been the most important it's pinned because it makes a lot of the other mods once they're installed you want to go to start modded this is going to start your server which is then going to place all these mods in the correct installation folder so that you can copy them and then put them in your dedicated folder once that's done you're then going to want to go to settings and locations click this little tab here and then inside here you're going to have that bepnex folder and go to plugins copy all your plugins and then open Steam and from Steam you're going to want to go to your dedicated server go to manage and browse local files post those pasted those into the webmix plugins and also in the velheim server data plugins I've already done that that's that's what you see there so you want to paste it into both of those and you also want to paste so much browsing for files and then X if you don't have a bepnex folder there just copy it and put it there um and the plugins are there now if you have friends that are also playing on your server it's going to be important that they also download these same mods and put it into their valheim plugin solder that I just showed you without that they're not going to see things loaded correctly on your server now that's all there is to in modding your server you can freely move those out of those locations and that will remove the mods and you can do this to a map that you already have running so so it was very difficult to find all that information I remember you have to copy the SE industry multiple all ocations both the game and the dedicated server need those mods and your friends also need it if they're playing on yourself any questions leave in the comments again it was kind of difficult to find this information and super annoying and a little bit of frustration for several hours trying to save me a headache uh good luck and again drop it in the comments if you have any questions I'll do my best to try to help you [Music]
