hello guys in this video I'm going to show you how to install Mac OS Sonoma the beta version which is the latest version of Mac OS currently released this month on any Windows laptop or desktop from scratch using open core now here are the requirements first we need at least a 32 gig flash drive if you have anything more than that that's fine second we need balena HR and this is what we're going to use to create a bootable disk third we need Mini 2 Partition Wizard thoughts we need Explorer plus plus fifth we need Mac OS installer file we also need EFI configuration file and lastly we need gen SM bios which we're going to use to create unique serial for Mac OS sucking touch now it is important to know your CPU model so you know the right EFI if I you should download now to check your CPU model and generation code control shift Escape key manager now click on performance and then under CPU you can see over here Intel Core i5 which should be different for you depending on the CPU you're using now you can see after called I5 you can see four five seven eight this means this is a fourth generation CPU now we have to align the generation of the CPU to the code name because when we are downloading the EFI we need to download the EFI based on the code name of our CPU so this is a fourth generation CPU so this is as well now the Links to each and every one of the files in the requirement section is in the video description so you can head to the video description and download each and every one of these files now let's open our download folder and here we go this is balena HR this is our EF5 file you can see Haswell which is a fourth generation B CPU this is Explorer plus plus this is Gen SM bios this is Mac OS Sonoma image file and this is Mini 2 Partition Wizard now the first thing we have to do is connect our pen drive and then create a bootable disk with Mac OS Sonoma and to do that let's install Berliner HR [Music] has been successfully installed now connect your pen drive at least 32 gigabytes you can see that the file size of Mac OS Cinema is about 14.9 gigabytes so a 16 gigabyte Drive won't be enough since the 5 size will be bigger than the drive itself so make sure you have at least 32 gig flash drive in my case I have a 64 gig flash drive if you have any data on the flash drive you can just copy it to your PC because it's going to format this drive and then create a bootable drive so let's head to Berliner HR click on flash from file and I had to download folder and select Mac OS Sonoma remember the links to every one of these files provided in the video description click on open now you can click on change over here and make sure your USB is selected now this is my USB which is selected 64 gigabytes select now click on flash and it should begin creating a bootable disks with a USB now this may take about 20 minutes or less or sometimes even more it all depends on the read and write speed of your drive while we are waiting we have to confirm where we are installing Mac OS so let's minimize this so we have to use search bar and then search for dicks management and you can see create and formats had the expertitions click on it and here we go so you can see over here this is the zero which is our backup drive this is this one which is my SSD you can see Drive C here and this is Linux so you have to confirm where you want to install Mac OS now in my case the drive with more space is our backup drive and that is where I want to install Mac OS in your case you may have just one drive here and that is okay so we're gonna shrink this drive where we want to install Mac OS and then create a new Partition where we install Mac OS so this means you can run Windows and Mac OS on this NPC using the same drive but if you have two drives you can just use one of your drive for Mac OS and use one of them for Windows so if you want to install on your current drive then you just have to backup your drive and then no need to format it you can just go ahead with the installation but in this case I want to partition this drive so I'm going to right click shrink volume I'm gonna shrink about okay 70 000 megabytes we should be around 68 gigabytes okay now you can see it is unallocated this is the position where we want to install Mac OS so let's right click new simple volume next next assign it later let me just say p next let's give you the name let's call it Mac OS 14 so we can easily recognize it next finish and we've successfully created a new Partition right here called Mac OS 14. now we can head to our fi Explorer and you can see this partition Mac OS 14. now this is where we're going to be installing Mac OS Sonoma now head back to your download folder now we have to extract our EFI open core file so let's right click and then extract okay we can delete the zip file since we no longer need it so we also have to extract gen SM bio so right click extract Vice okay so we've extracted gem SM values as well so you can delete the zip as well now open gen SM bios open and then right here you can see a file called Windows batch file so double click on this file to run DNS SM bios now the first thing we have to do is install and update Max cereal so enter one and then hit enter make sure you're connected to the internet because it has to download some packages [Music] secondly we have to select config P list file so enter two and then hit enter now head to your EFI folder so let's head back to our download folder locate EFI open the EFI folder and then go to OC and you can see if I called config.plist now drag this config.plist and paste it in our command prompts so paste it and then hit enter and you can see it has been selected now the next thing we have to do is generate SM bios we have to generate unique Syria keys for Mac OS machine so enter three and then hit enter now in this case we are generating the SM bias for iMac Pro 1 comma one hit enter and then hit enter to finish now we also have to generate uuid so press 4 and then hit enter generated hit enter to return now we can enter q and then hit enter to quit so we are done with generating SM bios for Mac OS hacking touch now we can copy the EFI folder right here copy it and just paste it now download [Music] and we can delete the open core EFI and also delete assembly since we no longer need it so the flash is complete now we can close Berliner HR and open our download folder again this time we have to install Mini 2 Partition Wizard over here okay now let's continue with the free version next let's turn off both of this next and then install after installing click on finish to launch Mini 2 Partition Wizard [Music] okay so if you look down here you can see a removable disks with 64 gigabytes you can see the symbol over here and you can also see an EFI partition under a removable disks with 200 megabytes now right click on the EFI partition and then click on change letter so let's change the letter to something we can easily recognize so I'm just going to set it to V okay and then click on apply yes okay and then we can close Mini 2 Partition Wizard now open your download folder and then extract Explorer plus plus and here we have it now open Explorer plus plus and you can see an application here Explorer plus plus now right click and run as administrator if you don't run as administrator you encounter issues so make sure you run as administrator so once you open Explorer plus plus you'll be able to find EFI partition with Drive letter V which we assigned just now so open the EFI partition and then delete everything in this drive yes okay now head to you download folder locate your download folder and then locate your EFI folder we copy it as well copy it and then head back to EFI partition paste it there and we can close Explorer plus plus now we are ready to boot into Mac OS Sonoma so let's restart our PC hold F9 or F12 depending on the PC you're using in some case it may be F2 to boot into your bios and then navigate to bio setup hit enter now make sure your boots mode is set to UEFI switch from read to HCI and also disable secure boot if it is not disabled already so make sure secure boot is disabled as well locating this may be a little different depending on the PC you're using and then we can apply changes and then exit now put into your bios again now we have to boot from our USB drive which you can see over the UEFI and then the USB drive name hit enter first we have to reset nvram to reset mvram [Music] now you can proceed with the installation so install Mac OS foreign language for the installation and then continue go to this utility continue we have to erase our disks before we install Mac OS and then locate the disks we partitioned earlier you can see Mac OS 14. and then we have to click on erase up there and then set the formats to apfs and then format this drive [Music] now we can close this window and then install Mac OS 14 continue [Music] accept the terms and conditions now select hard drive we erased earlier Mac OS 14 and then we can begin the installation by clicking on continue now this will take about an hour or less while it is installing it will restart severely but you just have to wait patiently and we've successfully completed the installation now select your country or region and then continue sorry for the camera it's a little bit shaky because I'm holding with my ass now you just have to proceed with these prompts to set up your account based on your preference Now set up your full name your username and password which you're gonna use to access this machine [Music] and then choose a team either you like the light mode or the dark mode well I'm going with the light mode and then continue [Music] so basically this is how to install Mac OS Sonoma on your PC so after the installation we need to move our EFI file to the main EFI directory on our Drive instead of using our USB drive to boot whenever we want to access our machine so to do that we need ESP monitor Pro and open core configurator now the link to two of these files are in the video description so you can download directly now open applications and then drag and drop open core configurator and drag and drop ESP Mount approve the end of a click on ESP Mount approve and then install by entering your password and then install [Music] so ESP monitor pro has been successfully installed now if you look at the top right corner of your screen you can see ESP Mount approve button right there click on it now you can see our EFI partition right there click on mount partition and then click on open volume now copy the EFI folder right there that's the EFI folder on our USB paste it on our desktop and then we can close that head back to ESP monitor Pro shoe or disk and then scroll down and you will be able to locate the EFI partition on our main Drive and there it is now click on Mount and then click on open volume and you can see this is a EFI partition on our main drive so we have to copy this partition we got from our USB and then replace it with the EFI partition in our main drive but if you are using a dual boot then you don't need to do that since windows or another operating system might be running from the EFI so let's open the EFI and then create a new folder let's call this for the Mac OS let's open this new folder now let's copy the contents of our EF5 folder we got from our USB and then paste it in our new folder Mac OS and then we are done with that now we can close all of that and then restart our PC and then boot into our bios take notes that if you have just one operating system all you need to do is replace the EFI folder but if you have another operating system running then you have to create a new folder and then move the EFI files there just like we did now you can remove your USB drive now let's put into our bios hold your F12 F9 F2 depending on the PC you're using and then we go to bio setup now scroll down to boot sequence this may be different but it's always similar and then we have to create a new boot option let's call this Mac OS Now by default you may already have a boot created for Mac OS already now let's locate EFI Mac OS 14 OC and then select open core.efi okay and we are done now boot into our setup again and you can see Mac OS Sonoma is now displayed you can just boot right into Mac OS and that is all you can now log into your computer if this video was helpful kindly hit the Subscribe button and turn on your post notification if you had any issues while installing don't forget to use the comment section to share the error you encountered the link to our Discord server will be provided in the video description so you can share the screenshot of whatever error you get thank you for watching and I will see you on the next one [Music] [Music] thank you
