hey welcome back to the channel this is my 10 minutes later and this probably you're probably seeing this video maybe uh let's see three or four days difference between when i put the first one out and what we're gonna do today is we're gonna take and install the backhoe back onto the tractor and here's the backhoe setting on the ground as we left it before tony's tractor adventure hey i'm still wearing my sweaty cool new shirt it's just tony's tractor adventure it's got the saw blade on it because we have a sawmill now that's coming in the future it's a little tractor logo and it on the back it's got the bigger logo and it says we love tractors it's at the bottom of the video you guys get you one now we're going to get to after that that horrible selling tactic of trying to get you to buy my t-shirt we're actually going to show you what we came to show you we're going to install uh the backhoe back on to the 474. i don't you guys know this i just want to point this out this tractor has got some cool features that you can use this lever here to raise and lower the three-point hitch i found that to be very useful when you're like hooking up to a bush hog or something and the fact that these are telescoping on both sides i found that to be awesome as well so you don't have to get back on the tractor you back up to it you just get it close put this out right and do it hook onto the bush hog and then as you before you pull away you just back into it and it locks back in place so you don't have to be exactly right that's a neat feature so anyway we're going to go ahead and back the tractor up what you want to do is back the tractor up close enough that you can hook the hydraulic hoses up and lift the backhoe back up to the proper position so we'll do that now all right it's very important that you back straight into the tractor or the tractor straight into the backhoe and you want to make sure you that you try to keep it as straight as you can you don't want to be cutty as we stay here in the south you don't want to be caddywonker that's a word i promise so you use your best judgment you just want to get close enough we'll call that right there about close enough now it's been running before we go back there i'm going to take my valve my rear remote valve and i'm going to flick it back and forth and put it back in the neutral position the next thing we're going to do if you remember when we somehow hit the hazard lights my hazard is gonna take this the next thing you're gonna do is you're gonna take this uh the drag link pin off and we're not taking the drag link out we're just removing this pin so we can get by the cradle and if i could see better it'd be better all right that's pretty easy to get out so all you're doing is removing that pin again remember put the pin back in when you're done or when you really need that pin you'll be looking for it all right so the next thing up is we're going to install the lines now i didn't notice this before i had to go back and look at it there is and there's no wrong there's no wrong answer you can turn the valve either way so if you put these on backwards and the backhoe's acting funny just reverse the valve the other way uh on previous tractors i put a color strap or a zip tie with color and i matched it here on the tractor so there was no confusion but there is no wrong way to put this on if it's not working right one way you just take your rear remote valve and flip it to the other side however i do believe this is the way it come off okay now we're now we're good so what we're going to do now is we're going to raise the uh we're going to back up just a little bit more this is the first time that i have done this and what i want is this this rear cradle to come back here maybe when two or three inches of this bar that comes across so let me let me back up just a little bit more hey we're doing it with you so you see me making my mistakes hopefully you won't not that that's a real big mistake [Music] don't let it roll forward y'all boss didn't pull the lines off right you can actually lean over and see this i didn't know that either all right i'm going to leave the tractor running here i'm going to go ahead and engage my hydraulics i just uh through the that detented valve it has a detent that holds it in place if your tractor didn't come with a valve or the backhoe you may have to add the detent or some people just put a rubber band around it hold it back so we put it on and the detent's in the on position now the backhoe should work all right now we we are here this is the most dangerous part but it can be done safely move slow steady and deliberate all right what we're going to do is we're going to use the abaco to lift itself up using the tractors hydraulics now if your cradle is not exactly straight which i'm not you can move your joystick left and right your boom left and right and kind of move this see how i just bumped it around it's pretty close right there we'll see doesn't have to be exactly perfect it's got like a little groove that will help it slide in [Music] oh one little two for too much here there we go here's our end game this is a this piece of metal here will slide up into this cradle so you may have to lift the back push down on the back of the backhoe and we push down the back it'll cause this to go down on the front and or if it's up two or two down too low you might you'll reverse that same thing you'll figure it out right let's see what we look like ever so close i should be able to just gas it it should slide right in the cradle parking brakes off think that got it all right now we have our two pins i'm gonna pop these uh clevises off got these pins kind of a spike on the end of them to help them feed all right all i'm gonna do now is just set that pin and the top that one fell right through i don't know if this one's going to or not because i kind of looks like i got it at a vine it didn't fall through so what i'm going to do is take the bucket and just move the bucket back and forth and you see it just fell right in so now we're going to shut the tractor off parking brake's still engaged we got the two pins here that we're going to put in under the bottom for me this is probably the hardest thing with the knee replacements out of the whole deal uh just because i have to get down on my knee but it's a super super strong system and then because i don't want to lose it not going to use it but i don't want to lose my pin so put it back in place and it's locked in i'm going to come around to the other side and we'll put the other pin in this is the last clevis pin we'll put that in and i could probably done it from the other side but i don't know i just want a guy you guys see my new shirt it's all sweaty and nasty now that's as hard as it is now we're ready to go back crank the tractor up [Music] get back up on the backhoe [Music] and we're gonna put our outriggers back in and that's that backhoe is installed hey this wasn't too bad uh it probably took me first time doing this i probably i'll say seven minutes after you're proficient with it and the paint is kind of rubbed off because it's you know right now it's new everything's sticky and tight uh this would be a three to five minute job absolutely guaranteed but that's how that's how hard it is to uh to take the backhoe off if you've got any other ideas for about tractors or you know t-ram tractors you want us to do a video on just leave it leave a comment in the comment section below or if you have any
