get a job in the UK remember that in my previous videos I had promised that I'm going to be shifting a little attention from studies in the UK to getting jobs in the UK skilled worker jobs in the UK that can sponsor your visa and allow you to permanently migrate to the UK this is because there's been a lot of thoughts about International students in the UK and postgraduate Visa you know all of those things that is just making it very unsettling for current and prospective International students in the UK so yes this is a channel where I share opportunities so I would never hesitate to bring good news to you guys share opportunities to you so that you'll still be able to achieve your migration plan whether through study or through other legitimate means so in today's video I'm going to be taking you guys through one of the websites that you can find a job in the UK a job that will sponsor your Visa yes so if you're interested in lifestyle content I have a channel called living with British government website so we're going to go to www.gov.uk as you already know gov dot UK so when you come to this website what you're going to do is scroll down navigate to it's either you check click here find a job here or you come down here and click working jobs and pension so when you click working jobs and pension you will see finding a job and then you're going to come to this website you will see a lot of information A to Z information on finding a job okay there's even career trainings everything so if you're currently in the UK you can take advantage of some of this these things maybe the career trainings that are offered by the government although sometimes uh if especially if it is a free service free training they could say it is public funds so if you're an international student you may not be able to take advantage of public funds so just read through and you will know what kind of opportunities you can get so if you want to become an apprentice a career skills and training a lot of a lot of things now today we are going to focus on find a job okay if you want to find if you want a traineeship is here if you want apprenticeship is here if you want internship is here ah in fact information for employees in the UK if you want to know about your employment rights you can also come here and check there's something called job offers and your right so that way you can you can inform yourself on all the rights that you have as an employee in the UK so I'm going to click on the find a job and it says you find full or part-time jobs in England Scotland and Wells you used to find a job service to search and apply for jobs this is this service has replaced Universal Job match okay so this is the website if you see if you come to this website you're going to see a lot of jobs first of all you'll have to you have to create an account so I'm going to just create an account because both of us are looking for this job together we are looking for jobs together so you're not the only one that will find a job next week I'm going to find a job I already studied in the UK so I cannot go back to the UK as an international student it's not like I like book that much I don't like book that much so let us create an account okay I'm going to put my email here okay so verify your email address you're almost finished you've we've sent you a verification email you know to my emails so let's see yes I I have the email here so the email says find a job verify your email let us verify the email so yes we are here now accounts created successfully your new find a job account is ready to use and we have logged you in automatically now congratulations we are in guys we are in now we're gonna find the job of our dreams because we're going to migrate to the UK with a skill worker visa or the law other visas are sponsor different kinds of jobs so depending on the kind of jobs you find you will know what kind of visa to apply for I have already made a video outlining different kinds of Visa that you can get in the UK based on your particular circumstance so if you have not watched that video please keep bring yourself up to speed because we are starting taking this very seriously oh yeah let us go if you are a job Seeker return to your previous set so let's return to the set this is the search engine [Music] this is the search engine right and okay I think I previously did a search here so we are going to come here and search I'm going to search for different kinds of job but what I want you to know is before you apply for any job you have to ensure that that job is going to sponsor a Visa usually employers that are not going to sponsor a Visa will state it in the job description so there are so many ways you can check if a job is going to sponsor first of all not all employers can sponsor a foreigners to work in the UK for an employer to be able to sponsor foreigners to work in the UK that employer must be a registered licensee or must be registered as a sponsored employer in the UK Government website I'm going to put that website the link to where you can check a list of employers who are authorized sponsors in the description box okay so it means that if you find a job advertised by an employer who is an authorized sponsor you have passed the first photo now if you now check the job description and the employer does not insist that you must have a Visa before you can work then that's the second holiday that means oh this employer that is already that has the right to sponsor people also this vacancy he can sponsor here that employer can sponsor If an employer is not going to sponsor a foreigner for that particular vacancy they will usually state it in the job description or in the requirements for you before you apply that's the quality the eligibility requirements for you to apply for that job okay so let me just um demonstrate what I am talking about so we are coming to we are going to search for a job here we are going to search for Teacher let's imagine that I'm a teacher because there are some specific teachers teacher roles that are in the shortage occupation so if you find a job that is within the shortage occupation list you are most likely to get Visa sponsorship faster than a job that is not in the shortage occupation this I already made a video that outlines the jobs in shortage occupation so of course you can watch that video as well check the description box you will see that video so that you can watch if you your job is within the shortage occupation list it is easier for you to get a skill worker visa and the requirement to getting a security worker visa for that kind of job is lesser and less stringent than a job that is not in the shortage occupation so let us start with this um a teacher I'm going to say a teacher London my location London UK so you will see different teacher roles here you see different teacher rules here and then let's say that um okay I'm going to show you guys what I mean so I'm going to click this particular room the teacher posting this was 10 January when you see a job vacancy that is very recent then you have a higher chance because if a job vacancy has been there for up to a month it means a lot of people have already applied but if you see a job vacancy that has been advertised like a week earlier days earlier or even that day that is the best time or that's the best opportunity for you to apply for okay so we have the posting date here was 10 January that's like um a while ago the salary you'll see the salary 190 to 240 per day this is a whole lot of money okay so full time this role is full time the closing date for this application is 4th February 2023 so you can apply after this date you see the location of the job you see the company and you see that the job is permanent the job is a permanent um job so before you apply you will come down and check the summary of the job role you see the summary of the job the minimum experience training or qualification required for this job are Bachelor of education so you will see the details of the job contract date is ongoing about about the okay about the rule we are currently recruiting for a teacher for this blah blah blah you see all the details of the rule right you will see the school now the one that most concerns you is this requirement to be considered for the KSI teacher position you will have proven experience supporting the UK or equivalent curriculum within the past two years hold a pgce or equivalent have strong communication skills be eligible to work in the UK be eligible to work in the UK must have a valid Visa whenever you see a job advertisement stipulating that you must be eligible to work in the UK just work a pass you know concern you this is not the job that we are looking for we are looking for a job that says that we are willing to sponsor you if you're a foreigner if you do not if you know English is hard if you currently do not have a Visa in the UK you may still apply if they do not want to sponsor you they will state it will be eligible to work in the UK so when once you see this job you know that you know concern you this is not the job we are looking for let us go and look for the job we are looking for I don't know why I'm laughing why am I laughing why why am I laughing now when you even come to this this page you're going to see a lot of filters on the side now let's see how you can either um you can filter with most recent job vacancy you can filter with most relevance with this word that you are searching for you can filter with the highest salary or the lowest salary I'm not going to take you guys through the application I'm just showing you that these are the kind of jobs that you should apply for when you see a job that does not say oh you need a visa that's the one you should apply for if you see any job that says you need to have approved right to work in the UK that is not the job we are looking for soaka pass Specialists let's look for this one these are the requirements for the job you know these are actually the requirements okay you can go ahead to apply for the job this the job is a band Six job so once you click to apply you'll see more details for the job okay the job overview I mean this is a job overview main duties working for an organization okay okay person specification thank you this is what I've been looking for these are the essential criteria for the job okay essential criteria usually mean these are the the criteria that you that you must have to succeed in the role desirable criteria usually mean these are the criteria that would enhance your work in the robot does not necessarily mean that you need it you can be hired without having desirable criteria but you cannot be hired without having the essential criteria I hope that is clear okay these are the skills they need for the job desirable criteria so these essential skills you must have all of these essential skills if you must be hired for this rule but for these desirable skills you don't need to have it however usually what they use to shift our candidates after interviews usually if the candidate has all the desirable skills and you don't have then they may likely take the candidate applicant requirements you must have apple price UK professional then you can get this job what am I trying to say I'm trying to say that by the time you go through a job description and it does not say you need a right to work in the UK then once you meet all the person specification for the job then you can apply always download the job description so that you will see and then also usually when you find a job at description and they are saying things like we are looking for people from black origin people from Minority background we are a diverse team we are looking to increase our diversity those are the kind of jobs that we really consider people foreigners blacks and all of that if you want to apply you apply online so guys that said okay you all you need to do is come to this website check for a job especially check for permanent rules okay usually if a job is temporary they are most likely not going to sponsor a Visa sponsor for for that rule so when you come to this website check for a permanent role check that you meet all the criteria when you meet all the criteria especially make sure that you meet the essential criteria if you do not meet the essential criteria don't bother you can do away with the desirable criteria but you must meet the essential criteria and then you check if they say you must have the right to work in the UK If they don't say that good for you you can go ahead to apply and then maybe just to extra you know just to confirm or take an extra step before you waste your time you can also check the company name on the UK vi list of approved sponsored employers to ensure that that company has the
