How to Frame a 1,200sqft Home or ADU with a Volstrukt Steel Frame Kit in 1 day!

hey this is jason from volstruck we're in austin texas today we are in some beautiful hill country with lake travis in the background and we're going to be standing a two-bed two-bath bull struck steel frame check it out [Music] so we've laid out the panels into a couple of different piles just segmenting them for the assembly order in all of our drawings we're looking at the plan view which is top down all of these walls are labeled and pre-assembled when they arrive to site so what we're going to be doing is starting with the corner of the house we'll start in this corner here and then we're going to build those corners so the walls kind of hold themselves up and then we're going to work our way around the perimeter of the house until we're ready to put the roof [Music] [Applause] [Music] so we're about two hours into the framing process most of the exterior walls in place now we're gonna start putting the roof trusses onto the top we have one beam that's gonna sail across that clear span right there and then you'll see us start putting the rafters into place [Music] [Music] we're about 11 hours into standing the frame we have a few more roof trusses to go above that secondary bedroom but we wanted to record this video with the last little bit of light we have uh when we finish everything we'll come back tomorrow and show you guys the final result when we have some more daylight [Music] you
