not compatible with some older drivers if you are experiencing Wi-Fi driver issues in Windows 11 then here are some steps you can take to fix missing Wi-Fi problem so let's get started typically establishing a connection to a wireless network is a straightforward process on your windows 11 desktop or laptop however encountering the absence of Wi-Fi settings in Windows 11 can hinder your ability to connect wirelessly to initiate the to shooting process navigate to start then click on settings and click on network and internet initially now check the panel to confirm the presence of Wi-Fi option if the Wi-Fi settings are not visible in network and internet section like mine then first I'll suggest you to restart your computer because sometimes a simply restart can typically fix common problems of your computer after it restarts you can right click on start then click on settings after that click on network and internet to check if the Wi-Fi settings are visible now after restarting if the Wi-Fi settings are not visible in network and internet ction then consider utilizing the windows Network trouble shooter as a potential solution this tool is designed to address various network connection issues to access the travel shooter right click on Windows start then click on settings after that select travel shoot option now select other travel Shooters within the right panel look locate network and internet subsequently click on run troubleshooter button to initiate Diagnostic and resolution process for identified internet problems the troubleshooting resolutions may be different in your case so you will need to follow your on screen instructions to complete the troubleshooting process and after that hopefully your problem will be solved if the Wi-Fi settings are absent on your windows 11 it could be due to the inadvertent disabling of Wi-Fi in device manager to verify and address this issue you can follow the steps press Windows plus X and select device manager to open it on your windows 11 within device manager expand the network adapter category to view the list check for the presence of wireless network adapter or wireless controller click on the identified wireless network adapter or network controller and click on disable device subsequently click on enable device to restart the network adapter or controller now restart your computer and check whether the problem of missing Wi-Fi settings has been resolved and guys please don't forget to let me know in the comment section if you see e exclamation mark on wireless adaptor or network controller in device manager then expand the network adapter category and right click on your network adapter diver now click on update driver now click on search automatically for drivers now windows will automatically search for generic Wi-Fi driver for your device if this method is not working then go back to the device manager and right click on your network adapter driver and click on update drivers now this time click on browse my computer for drivers next click on let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer now select the model of your Wi-Fi Hardware device to install generic driver for your Wi-Fi Hardware alternatively you can click on have disk button if you have a manufacturer provided driver installation disk or USB drive that contains the specific driver you want to install now click on browse to select specific driver for your Wi-Fi Hardware once you select click on open and click on okay then you will see specific Wi-Fi Hardware model of your device now select it and click on next okay as you can see the message Windows has successfully updated your drivers now just reboot once and after that hopefully your problem will be solved if not working right click on start button and select terminal as administrator in the terminal type the following command Nets space windo space reset and press enter after running this command restart your computer after restarting your computer check once hopefully Wi-Fi not showing in settings problem will be solved if not solved then you'll need to manually download and reinstall wireless network adap driver or network controller for your device to do that press Windows plus X and select device manager expand the network adapter category loc at and note down the name of your model of your Wi-Fi adapter now open your web browser and go to the official website of the manufacturer of your computer or Wi-Fi adapter Now navigate to the support or download section on the manufacturer website this section is where you typically find drivers and software update alternatively you can look for a search or browse option to find your specific computer model or Wi-Fi adapter model once you find your model look at the driver section look specifically for the Wi-Fi and network driver download the latest version of driver that is compatible with your operating system and system architecture after downloading run the install or follow the provided instructions to install the driver on your system after installing it may require a restart to complete the installation process after restarting your computer hopefully your problem will be solved remember that these stpes are General guidelines and the details may vary based on your specific hardware and manufacturer website if you
