welcome back guys welcome back to Crown geek Wi-Fi is a very common problem and Wi-Fi not showing in settings or while connecting or if the icon is missing then this is a very common problem and most of the people have the same issues but I have a very effective solution and the updated solution that I will be sharing in this video by which you can surely get rid of this problem so let's quickly get started the first thing that you will have to assure that there is a problem only with your computer and not with the hardware what exactly I mean that your Wi-Fi Hardware is good and the problem is only with your Windows computer so in order to check this click on your windows search type CMD right click on the command prompt then click on run as administrator then click on yes the black window will be up now here you have to type simple command that will be pink p i n g space 127.0.0.1 hit the enter key and now here you can see that I am getting the reply from this network adapter so that basically means the hardware is good because I'm getting a reply from it and the problem is only with my computer settings okay so once we are done once we are assured that there is no problem with the hardware we can proceed with the troubleshooting so the first thing that you can try if you have any kind of keyboard or laptop that contains the Wi-Fi button on the keyboard then make sure that it's not being disabled now many people do this mistake by accidentally they disable that Wi-Fi key from the keyboard and due to which the Wi-Fi is not working so if you have any kind of Wi-Fi key on your keyboard or on your laptop keyboard then kindly check it and make sure that it's not been disabled and even you can check the airplane mode now next I also recommend that kindly go ahead and run the network troubleshooter because most of the time this fix your problem so click on your windows search type trouble you will be getting troubleshoot setting click on it then click on other troubleshooters and now here you have to look for an option network adapter as of now I'm not getting that option but probably you will find a option here by the name network adapter you need to click on it and then it will ask you that what kind of adapter you have the problem with so select Wi-Fi and then click on run and this time this will be checking for any kind of problem and either it will give you the suggestion that how do you need to fix a problem and most of the time it automatically fix the problem so see what kind of help you get from here and if this fix a problem then you are good to go and if not the next what you will have to do click on your windows search type GP edit then click on edit Group Policy now in case if you are using Windows 10 or 11 home edition then probably you will not be able to open the group policy editor so I've already created a video that how you can get this group policy editor on your Windows 10 home version you can watch that video then you can come back to this option so once you come up here you have to look for user configuration and in the user configuration click on administrative template then click on the start menu and taskbar then on the right hand side you will find remove the networking icon so you can look down and here you will find remove the networking icon make a double click on it and just disable this option then click on apply then click on OK and now you can close it then next click on your window search type services hit the enter key now here you have to look for WLAN so come to the w section then you have to look for the WLAN Auto config once you get it make a double click on it now make sure the startup type has been set to automatic and the service status is running if it's been stopped then you have to click on start click on apply and then click on OK close it right click on the Windows icon from the suggestion click on Device Manager then look for network adapters double click on it and then here you have to look for the Intel Wi-Fi or the real Tech Wi-Fi option so I can see that even I don't have the Wi-Fi option here so what you can do click on network adapter then from the top menu option click on view then check the option show hidden devices and still if you don't find that option again click on action click on a scan for Hardware changes and now you can see that I'm getting the Wi-Fi option back so once you find this option right click on it choose disable device click on yes wait for some time again make a right click on it choose enable device and now after this you will have to check back again if the issue has been fixed so if I click on this networking icon I can see that my Wi-Fi option is back now so now you can also check back if the issue has been resolved now in case is still the problem occurs then what you will have to do you need to again make a right click on it on the Wi-Fi adapter then click on uninstall device click on uninstall again once uninstalled or even if you don't find the Wi-Fi option here then also next to what you will have to do bring up your Google Chrome browser or any favorite browser whichever you use go to Google then type Intel Wi-Fi driver for Windows 11 or 10 whichever you are using hit the enter key click on the first option of Intel website now here you will find the available download for Windows 11 and Windows 10 so choose the right version click on it download it once downloaded install it and after that restart your PC and I'm very sure that your Wi-Fi not showing Wi-Fi missing Wi-Fi icon problem will be fixed so hopefully guys after applying all this solution your Wi-Fi will be back and if this works for you do not forget to like And subscribe and I see you in the next video bye
