hello guys welcome back to our Channel today I'm going to show you how you can fix the Ubisoft authentication ownership problem so first of all if you have seen other tutorials they will probably tell you that you have to change your internet connection settings or you are going to change your display settings but as the problem is related to authenication this mean that we have problem in our accounts so the main reason why you are having this error is when you just open any game from the desktop shortcut it gives this error because you are not currently logged into the Ubisoft connect account through which you installed this game so if you are having this problem you probably have multiple accounts and you want to switch to the account through which you just installed this game so first of all then what you need to do is you are are going to open your Ubisoft connect when you open your Ubisoft connect account just try to remember that if you downloaded your game through this account or any other account like if you have downloaded this game from any other accounts you want to log out through this account and then log in back to your previous account so to just log out from your account you are going to come into the upper right section of the screen and you are going to click on your profile over here and you are going to scroll down from the drop down menu until you see this log out and just click on this log out then you need to log in over here by your email and password of the account through which you downloaded this game and if you don't want to log in again and again you can also check this remember m box over here and after entering the required information you are going to click click on this login over here to login into your account and just wait a couple of seconds until the process has been completed and you are redirected to the main page of your Ubisoft connect account once your Ubisoft connect has been successfully opened you are going to go into your games section and just see here for the game which you are trying to open and you will probably see your game over here suppose that you know through which account you downloaded your game but you don't remember the password of that account for that just go back to your Logan screen and in here first of all type in the email address of your account and then click on this recover password over here to recover the password of your account if you don't remember it and your browser will be open with Ubisoft connect webs side in it here you want to enter the email address you just want to enter the email address which you entered to your login page of Ubisoft connect just again enter the email address over here and after entering the email address you are going to click on this submit over here and once you click on submit they will tell you that they have sent you an email with a link to reset your password so we just open another Tab and open your Gmail over there and in here you will find an email from Ubisoft account just click on that email and then click on here hyperlink to just reset your password just click on this link and another tab will be open and here you will be able to type in the new password for your account and after just setting the new password you can open your account and after opening your account into your Ubisoft connect I hope that the authentication ownership error will be fixed for you thanks for watching
