How To Fix Roblox NOT Launching! (2024, Windows)

today guys I'm going to be showing you exactly how to fix Roblox not installing or launching this is actually really simple to do but a very very annoying glitch when it does happen so basically what happens is you try to install Roblox and it doesn't actually finish installing all the way and then when you go to try to launch it it doesn't work so in this video I'm going to be showing you exactly how to fix that so the first thing that you're going to want to do is actually go ahead and delete Roblox because we're going to have to reset basically start over so that we can fix this issue so first thing you're going to do is go down here and you're going to type in add or remove programs so simply click that now as you guys can see we have installed apps pulled up right here and you guys are simply just going to want to search for Roblox now there are two different types of Roblox there is Roblox right here this is the Microsoft version and this is the Roblox player so usually this glitch happens on the Roblox player I'm almost positive it never happens on the Microsoft version so you're going to want to go and delete the Roblox player so it's going to say uninstalling Roblox and say uninstall it may not say this for you if Roblox is bugging out but it probably will Roblox has been uninstalled and just click okay now the next that you guys want to do is go ahead and download Roblox again and to do that you guys can just you know join on a game click play and it's going to say your PC doesn't have anything that you can open for this and then I'm just going to click download and install Roblox right here so just cck simply click download and install and then open up this Roblox player for me it's going to actually install correctly but I'm going to show you exactly what to do if this doesn't install correctly so Roblox just installed and then immediately xed out after and it didn't actually say the installation completed so the first thing you guys going to do is click the Windows button and then R so the Windows key and then click R and then this will pop up this is called the runtime window and you guys are going to want to type in percent app data percent make sure there's no like slash in it or anything weird I don't know why that was there and then click okay now the next thing that you guys are going to want to do is click on app data where up there you know we were just in the roaming folder make sure to click app data and then click local then you guys are going to want to scroll down until you find Roblox so here we go here's Roblox and then guys once you're in this folder you're going to want to scroll down until you find versions so right here this is the versions folder and then you guys are going to want to find one of these version folders that are the most recent so it is Veterans Day today so it is 111 today Veterans Day and right here this one also says 1111 so open up the most recently the most recently modified folder click on that and then scroll down until you find one that says Roblox launcher.exe if for some reason your installation didn't finish all the way this will make sure that it does so I'm going to just click this and there we go it says Roblox is successfully installed and then you guys can just click okay and now we can go test it by trying to join a game so I'm going to Simply click play and there we go the game has loaded up and that is simply how you guys can fix this issue it's actually super quick and easy to fix and it doesn't take much time at all if this video helps you guys out at all please make sure to leave a like comment and subscribe it means the world to me and yeah I'll see you guys in the next one
