How To Fix Discord Installation has Failed

in this video I will show you how to fix if your Discord installation has failed so in order to do this the first thing you're going to want to do is make sure that you come out of any Discord processes running in the background so the first thing you're going to want to do is come to your system tray in the bottom right hand corner go ahead and click the arrow button here and then you want to locate Discord down here next just right click and click onto quick Discord and after this what you want to do is also check the task manager so if you hold Ctrl alt and delete on your keyboard and then you want to click onto task manager and then from here what you want to do is Click onto more details at the bottom next what you want to do is just scroll down and have a look to see if Discord is running in the background and if it's running again go ahead and end task by simply highlighting Discord and clicking the end task button down here once that's done the next thing to do is come to the search box in the bottom left hand corner and you want to type the following end which is a percent app data so what you want to do is Click onto the folder that comes up percent update to a percent and you want to make sure that list loads up the Roman folder so if you look at the top up here it says app data and Roman and then from here what we're going to do is delete this folder so the Discord folder next what you want to do is just go back into the update folder by simply clicking update up here and then you want to double click onto local from here again just come down to the Discord folder and delete the Discord folder so once that's done what you can now do is re-download Discord from the website just come across2disco.com and download for Windows or whichever platform you're using once that's downloaded go ahead and run the setup and this should now install successfully if you still have any issues you can try to run as administrator so if you come down to the search box and type Discord and what will happen once you've downloaded you're going to see Discord setup.xe what you want to do is right click onto this and run as administrator and if that's not working the final thing to try is updating your disk drives so if you come down to device manager by going to the search box and typing device manager and then to go ahead and open up device manager up here and then come down and click the arrow next to disk drives next you want to locate the disk drive that you installed in Roblox to right click and click on to update driver so if you've updated to your drivers and you can try re-running the setup again to see if you can install Discord if you're still having issues what I would recommend is getting in touch with the Discord support team who will be able to look into this further View and hopefully resolve your query so I hope this video helped you out today and if it did I'd really appreciate if you dropped a like on the video and make sure you do subscribe to the channel stay with the latest tips tricks and tutorials for everything Tech and digital related with Flappy and teddo trying to take a moment to thank you guys for watching this video and I will see you in the next tutorial
