How To Fix Could Not Connect To The Steam Network

hello you beautiful people and welcome back to my channel so in this video i'll teach you how to fix a steam connection error that says could not connect to steam network in the easiest possible way so without any further ado let's get into the job and fix this error so first off you want to make sure that you are already connected to the internet we are going to start from the most easiest solutions to way more complicated ones so here as you can see i am already connected to the internet but yet i'm getting this error what are we gonna do after that is that down in search bar we want to search for this term that allow an app through windows firewall okay just open it and click on change settings and just drag it down to the s so you want to check both boxes to basically allow steam through your firewall okay if steam was not there you can just click on allow another app then browse and under c drive program files 86 then steam okay you can you like manually add it then click ok so after you've made that change you want to search for proxy and this is my proxy settings you want to make sure your proxy is all turned off so mine is all turned off that's not a big deal to have automatically detect setting on it's not it but down in here on manual process setup you want to make sure that user proctor server is all turned off on windows 10 i will put a picture on how it is on windows 10 as well so you can all see that so you want to make sure that proxy is all off so from now on we are getting to most complicated solutions and the solutions with most positive feedback for the next solution down on here on search bar you want to just simply search for steam then right click on it and just select open file location so you want to right click on steam app and click on properties so this window will be popping up then you want to press spacebar once and just type dash then tcp okay that's it then click on apply do not close it yet then go to compatibility this is the next step and then just check this box that says run this program as an administrator and click apply again after you have made all these changes you want to get into your task manager just end task let steam just restart itself so and task and then open steam again and you most likely going to be all good okay then continue and boom here we go the problem is already solved so here i got into my steam account successfully thank you so much for watching please like this video if this helped you take care of yourself and peace out
