in this video I'll show you how to fix Steam games not launching if you find this guide useful then please consider subscribing and once you've done that then please consider leaving a like and let's get right into this guide the first fix you can try if your Steam games aren't launching is you need to come to the library then what you need to do is go and find the game which isn't launching in the games list on the left hand side and then go and right click on it like so and then go and tap on manage and then go and tap on properties and you're going to go and get your settings menu appear and what you need to do is go over to the left and go and tap on local files and then what we need to do is go and verify the Integrity of the game files and this is going to go and check things so literally going to tap on it like so and then it's going to go and start this process here then wait for it to finish and go and see what the results are now if that still hasn't worked for you then the next thing you need to go and do is clear the steam game cache to do that go to the top left of steam and just like so and then what you need to do is go and tap on settings like this then go down to downloads and what we need to do is go and find clear download cache this is clearing down on a cachet Microsoft issues downloading or starting apps let's go and tap there like so and then you'll need to go and press OK and then steam is going to go and completely restart as it said there you are going to need to go and log back into your Steam account give it a moment and as you can see it's now actually doing some sort of update just wait for it to launch steam should launch any moment now and then I can go and log back in or if you go and log back into steam then go back to a library and see if you can go and launch the game if that then still isn't working then what's worth checking is that all of your drivers are up to date that's things like Nvidia if you have a video graphics card or if you've got an AMD graphics card then go and do that if that still isn't fixed a problem then something really generic you can just go and try is restarting your computer often that is going to solve the problem to do that all you need to do is come to the bottom of Windows and go and tap on the Windows icon on the left hand side on the start button and then just go and tap on that power button like so and then you can go and press on restart and your computer is going to go and restart so go and see if that solves a problem after you've restarted your computer then go back to steam and try and launch the game from your library now if that still isn't working then what I recommend doing is trying to completely uninstall the game and then go and reinstalling it to go uninstall a steam game all you need to do is come to a library and go and find the game on the left hand side and then right click on it and go to manage and then press uninstall like so and what you'll need to do is go and confirm your choice here then once you've gone and installed it what you'll need to do is go and download it again so the game is still going to appear in this list here for example if I just want an uninstalled Goat Simulator then tap on again and the install button is going to appear where minus credits is update it's going to say install try doing that and see if that goes to fix the problem
