How To Find Treasure With A Metal Detector || Does This Really Work?

the door door out the door door door I Don't Wanna Hurt You Anymore [Music] hello greetings welcome to another metal detecting expedition you're joining me today back on the Georgian gold fields today I want to try and prove a point when you're feeling confident when you're feeling up for it when you go metal detecting chances are you might find something good something nice if you're not feeling it and you don't feel like going male detecting and you're not feeling positive then in my experience you don't really find anything and you don't have a very good day I've been looking forward to detecting all week for a golf this morning and it just wasn't feeling it so today I'm going to try and prove this point that if you're not feeling it you're not going to have a very good days detecting so let's see how we get on on the Georgian gold Guinea Fields so the other side of that wall at the top of this field is where I find the gold half guinea today I'm going to work my way up this wall and round the top of that wall at the top of the field before making way into the next field I have just had a really small little 53 signal I think it's a new 5p can you see it little modern spendable five pence to start the day we don't mind that we don't mind that at all let's carry on next one I'm going to look at just here 83 [Music] don't know if it's gonna be digable though because it's on a bit of a Gravelly track well it was accessible as you can see it's a piece of trash my first of many today probably so I found the gold coin the other side of this marker Stone they've got a very similar signal just here faint an 80s where is it 81 but it's not great is it deeper out just there I can see green wow look at that it's a big old button look certainly right to dig it I think it's called The Dandy button still got the shank yeah we'll take that button well I'm liking this I've got a 95 there which is probably 2p it was 78 79 there I don't know 50p ring pull well I've got the 77 out 78 and it was a little button nothing exciting let's see what the other one is well I got it out and it's in here it doesn't look promising I'll be honest it's a modern spendable two pence piece look yep modern spendable two pence nothing excited by that [Music] [Music] well had a solid 70. very much like a gold kind of signal but now when you're not having a good day you're going to be digging the rainfalls aren't you instead of gold coins and gold rings but yep never mind it's what we expect I stumbled across this one while I was doing some filming with the Drone as you can see I've marked the ground I'm getting a nice 69.70 there pretty good depth I'm quite interested in that well I saw a glint of silver and I got remarkably excited for about half a second then I realized it was just a pewter button but I don't mind that's another old piece of George in history that there's got to be more stuff on here somewhere so I'm just following this footpath along here we did this with Paddy and his dad a few weeks ago a lot we've missed this one a glorious 88 just there look Chris sharp not deep I think that's a coin [Music] in my humble opinion that's a copper coin all day if I'm extremely lucky it might be a 50 silver shilling right on it just there oh oh look it's under this rock look at that I tell you what this looks lovely lovely old Georgian coin possibly William the Third gonna give us a little clean have a closer look so I think that that is an early George the third half penny it's not in as good condition as I thought it was I don't mind finding that even on a day when I'm not feeling good the other side's completely blank but yeah that might polish and wax and look alright I want to thank snd detectorist off Instagram he got in touch with me I think his name's Anthony and he said that he would make me one of these coin pod I needed a new one anyway small one's worn out so thank you that's the first coin that's going that is the best thing about metal detecting just being out in the fresh air is so good for you the exercise is good for you I'm still not feeling positive about finding something and I still haven't found something exciting so so far my theory is sticking but I've still got a few hours left yet it's very very warm as well thank you although I should add when you're feeling negative bad stuff happens and I forgot my bloody drone batteries I've got one battery with me today left the spare two drone batteries at home so this is the next Target that I'm going to look at [Music] really big signal thick I thought it was going to be junk I think that's a buckle look how thin it is absolutely wafer thin I was saying that's a Georgian shoe buckle I think so yeah I don't mind that well I've literally just walked lines back and forth back and forth all the way down this field not even a single signal until now but look at this lovely faint 90 in there could this signal determine my theory if I'm having a good day this is going to be silver if I'm having a bad day it's going to be a button or junk let's have a look what deep HD says to this get that 91 Relic mode 93. hello it's picking up iron as well I'm still over in this field in fact I've only been in it once with Andy and Paddy and I had loads of coins big plug oh my God it's still in there [Music] which means it's deep we've just Disturbed the soil if it's in this whatever it is let's get it out and have a look let's see what this sounds like now oh [Music] if that's a modern 1p then that is going to sum up my theory do we see anything oh no oh well it's an old coin but it's not silver it's a big Georgian I think that might be a token you know let's have a close look at this well I find a lot of Georgian tokens in this area and I think this is another one if I don't recognize it definitely weird patterns on there that aren't Georgian coin like so I think that is definitely a token it has the thickness as well about it being a token yeah I just can't recognize it Me Andy and Paddy doing a good job on this little field if I have had another signal here just there very crisp that is I was a batting man I say this is going to be an old Brown Pound oh right in there oh what is that after all that's one of those bloody aluminum uh it's off a tent it's all the guide rope definitely found a Hot Patch down here have a look at this one lovely 90 crisp a little bit deeper I like that and fond oh my God look at that it's a modern spendable one pence piece from the 1980s eyes are not what I'm looking for foreign [Music] [Music] high-pitched one I like that [Music] it's the one that's gonna change everything ruined my theory right still in there but I can see green but that doesn't matter because it's still another old coin it's a Bitcoin as well can't quite see what's on there I don't know if we've got another token or not here the other side's pretty toast but it's Georgian that's for sure yeah we'll put it in the tub with the others again I've got another superb signal here the very limits of this machine or this setting at least can you hear it it's just such a little squeaker but there's High numbers in there deep HC says look at that 90 all day long Relic mode 92 look there's some iron as well I'm very interested in this so I've dug a huge huge plug here there's your iron but look at this still got a superb signal in there that is very very exciting let's get down there and see what's right in there let's disturb the soil green again look it's another Georgian half penny I think let's get this out this is imprint that is a George third off penny I'm quite sure of it Andy just wasn't keen on this field I told him there'd be more stuff in here and I've had four or five coins now and quick succession let's carry on yeah another one high pitched deep 92 94. that is nice another really deep plug whatever it is it's there oh I can feel oh my God it's another big Georgian copper coin that's definitely George III it's an 1806 one half penny see him facing to the right there's gotta be some old Georgian silver coins around here another really good signal down here it was a 92. no it's another big copper coin lot iel size of that thing and again it's going to be George the third let's Britannia look tell you what I'm sure I could have found something amazing today but stuck at it well I've been hard at it for three hours now and you know what I've actually quite enjoyed myself I haven't found anything spectacular I found a whole bunch of George and copper coins but I still enjoyed myself doing it so my theory I'm still on the fence about it yeah I could have stayed at home spent some time with the family watched the football build paper airplanes I don't know but I made myself come out and I'm glad that I did because I don't get many chances to go metal detecting apart from on the odd Saturday or Sunday here and there what can I conclude from this if you're not feeling it don't go spend the day with your family if you are feeling it then go but if you're not feeling it then force yourself to go you've got three choices aren't you everyone's a winner [Music] I fully expected to find a whole bunch of trash today we got the lead the tin can tops and the ring pools but after some perseverance I started to find the coins and the old coins as well there has to be some old silver in this place somewhere I just know it I sealed and preserved the copper coins with artiseal I love this product it's brilliant you can see the shine on the Georgian coins this George III coin looks and feels brilliant I love it when they're like this I'm still none the wiser with what this token is it seems to have a man playing a piano on the other side is an animal
