[Music] what's up guys is some dude named deaths and today we are going to do a mock video shoot [Music] [Music] I've been so bored in my house because this whole quarantine thing I have been shot for ever all I've been doing is literally editing and come want to get back to the bread and butter of this whole thing so today we're gonna take this Corona can and make a mock commercial we'll go from a wide shot to a close shot pouring shot so I'm gonna show you guys how to do set design lighting and you know all that goodness to make a proper video I also don't have a second camera mmm my second camera is broken so we are going to use my iPhone suffice is but we'll see what happens all right so as you can see this is my main light and pretty much what I want to do is utilize this area back there and here is my main setup okay so basically today we are going to make it commercial but what we have and I happen to have at least four more of these pros so that's what we're gonna do so since we're doing a beer commercial the aesthetic I'm gonna be using is like a rustic wood theme so yeah I'm gonna use this and then basically you want to utilize anything might be too bright here utilize anything that's in your house and for the base I'm gonna be utilizing this cutting board so as you can see here backups a few feet away it gives it more of a depth of field for instance if I'm like this it really separates everything so so right now I just added a backlight to it just a separate from the background it looks pretty damn good right now all I need left is another light here in the front that's gonna make it pop and obviously showcase the foreground for my backlight so you guys can see I'm using a badger here and this shooting right toward the back it's crazy because actually these are strobes they're meant for photos but you know lights light and if we can light up your room then why not my main key light here is gonna be my aperture 120 D and then I'm gonna have that come right over and shoot a vertical one an overhead shot let me show you something that usually people mess up on but make sure you get this right always have the taller leg facing toward the light that's where also the bag goes so it doesn't topple over and hurt people on set huge thing make sure you take care of everyone on set because it's you know if you don't have insurance anything might be [ __ ] um we have the ornaments box right there we actually took some Christmas lights I had laying around it's all it's all sorts of messed up it's just some stands from my green screen he's literally using tripod to help hold that up but like the end result here looks pretty damn good pretty good loving it on the secrets use if you don't have water and glycerin use a hairspray worth wonders give it a little spray down looks great I think it looks awesome so far I'm just gonna add a little bit more hairspray I want like a drip line so should look good and let's run so basically wouldn't have that more to run have this thing rotate with it oh it's looking amazing so far I have a slider so what I'm gonna do is literally manually move this while it's rotating so right now it's centered the shots can go three two one you all right so now we're gonna do the slam shot I'm gonna like slam it on to this area right here so basically what I'm gonna do right now is mark it I'm just allows me to exactly where to put it down so for this shot we are gonna shoot it in 60fps it is gonna be a little wider yeah I would do want the full hand motion when the slams get more of a dramatic effect I am gonna get my hands wet to make it look like I just grabbed it from a cooler all right so right now we're about to do the money shot which is or the second one it's a technically the opening of the cam this is perfect for when the song is at its highest point during the in the video it really gives a nice impact and really sells it always make sure you lock focus [Music] this came with my stuff because the tab was on this side this can the tabs on the other side which allows me to go on the other side to pull using what we can work with literally put the camera on top of the aperture 120 box and yeah man you know usually when you're on set not everything was planned so you have to adapt to your surroundings and gonna be creative with now we're adding some steam to it I mean you can do this also in post-production with an overlay but if we get it right in camera it looks so much better [Music] there are many tricks to get across the cup I'm just doing the old-school way literally taking the cup frosting it I left it in there for a solid 30 minutes and now can you take that hero shot yeah I do is pour it [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] well I hope you guys enjoyed that one who I only managed to waste five beers in this yeah so I hope I inspired you guys to go out create use anything around your house and I know it's tough times right now but it really shouldn't stop you from doing what you love and sure it doesn't stop me [Music]
