be here and thou art worthy thou art worthy [Music] oh lord thy heart worthy [Music] thank you jesus holy spirit you are welcome in this place you're worthy whenever someone looks at us and calls us fanatics you're worthy whenever they look at us and wonder why we praise you so much you're worthy you're worthy of our hand claps you're worthy of our praise you're worthy of our sacrifice you're worthy of our lives you're worthy and we recognize that and oh god we just declared today you've been too good to us too good [Music] we worship you god we worship you jesus thank you lord for holding us and covering us and fighting for us we receive you today lord we receive you today oh glory to god we receive you today knowing you're all we will ever need everything we've we've been searching for everything we've been asking for it's all in you glory to god we sense your presence in this place we receive it right now we bathe in this present right now all is well with us because of you jesus name everybody said amen god's good eh god's good god's good oh praise the lord i'm so excited i forgot my bible i don't need it i'm good uh it's the day of uh technology i'm good if you have your bibles go with me to the book of saint john chapter 3 17. st john chapter 3 17 in the king james bible we're going to continue to talk about you know how to obtain the presence of god i just believe that everything we're looking for is tied into the presence of god everything everything that you need is tied into the presence of god in fact i'll make a statement today that sounds something like this that if you're still struggling to get things that happen in your life you just need to know god better and we have gotten caught up into in the mechanics we've gotten caught up in all these other kind of things the things you need to do in order to be a good christian and all that kind of stuff and we missed it big time this is about a personal relationship with jesus being a christian is not about you learning all the formulas and all the mechanics of things it's about getting the wonderful opportunity to have a personal relationship with god that's what this is about and a lot of people have uh spent more time you know learning the mechanics that they've not gotten the opportunity to understand how important it is to know him i want to start off a little different here today and um i'm i'm leading in these next three verses of scriptures to a question that i think i need to ask you need to hear and we need to answer john 3 and 17 says for god sent not his son into the world to condemn the world but he sent his son that the world through him might be saved so you can tell by the scripture he's not talking about the earth he's talking about people okay he said god didn't send his son into the world the world would it is a system of operation uh the world [Music] uh it's it's the way people think the world chooses to to live in opposition to the word uh the world they choose to live in to think in opposition to the word in other words what the world does is they the world would be those who have yet to be transformed by the word of god remember romans chapter 12 he says don't be conformed to the world's way of operation the world's way of doing things the world's way of thinking see people that are worldly are people that live in the world but they go against the word people who have been born again have been born again out of the world because now they choose to be transformed by the word and so you see the difference when somebody says when somebody uh talks about the world they're talking about people who are outside of christ who've not accepted jesus as their lord's personal savior those who don't believe the word and their operation is not based in the word their norms and values uh go against god's word and what's right and wrong in the world is based on if a whole bunch of people say this is right then it's right if a whole bunch of people say this is wrong then this is wrong that's that's the way of the world that's the system of operation now sometimes church people get get that kind of mixed up a little bit and and they get a little bit too deep and they call everything worldly and so you don't know how to enjoy life god's objective is for you to enjoy life but some of you have gotten so religious and so deep you don't even know how to enjoy life everything's worldly you can't dance that's worldly you can't go to the movies you remember those days that's worldly you know you can't wear what it used to be you can't wear what was a long you couldn't wear pants that's worldly we come out of a lot of that stuff but some of it still exists so let me give you the definition of what's worldly okay so you can have that and um first john chapter 2 16 in the nlt let's read it there first john chapter 2 16 in the nlt and we'll come back to the scripture in a moment but i i'm going to take opportunity to really explore this in first john 2 16 he says for the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure a craving for everything we see and pride in our achievements and possessions these are not from the father but they are from this world and i go to the king james so basically he's talking about so what is worldly he says for all that is in the world the lust of the flesh the lust of the eyes and the pride of life is not of the father but it's of the world so if it involves the lust of the flesh it's worldly if it involves the lust of eyes it's worldly and if it involves the pride of life it's worldly i need to break that down a little bit more all right so what do we mean when we talk about the lusts of the flesh the lusts of the flesh they are cravings for physical pleasure the lust of the flesh is always about the gratification of the flesh nothing else matters except gratifying my flesh we don't they don't consider if it's right or wrong if it gratifies my flesh that is worldly so what does it mean to have the lust of the eyes the lust of the eyes is like you're you're craving for everything you see uh it's the alert it's the allurement of things of this world and so every time you look at something you're craving for this you're crazy in other words you you don't know how to be content you're craving for everything the thing that you desire may not be wrong but the fact that you're just craving for everything and you just can't be satisfied that's the problem the lust of the eyes and then the pride of life uh now this is interesting the pride of life involves pride in our achievements and our possessions here's what it literally means obsession with status and importance the pride of life is all about you wanting to be important in the eyes of other people the pride of life is you working real hard to be validated by others you're working very hard to achieve so that you can have the status of being important and he says these things are not of god these things are of the world let me give you a simple illustration you know uh some people say now that i'm born again you just start to listen to church music sign me up i don't want to hear that i don't want to hear that especially when it's your night with your husband and your wife you don't want to put on sign me up you want to put on a little loo you'll never find sign me up see what you don't understand is that i remember tapping i came out i forgot what conference we were where we were we actually it was it was a christian song by kirk franklin and we came out dancing with it and some of the comments we got that's just worldly that's just not a good example what see i don't want to hang around you because you don't understand how to have fun you call everything worldly and you're trying to invite me into the bondage of your sad life [Applause] but there are a lot of good songs that are not tagged as christian songs that can be for your enjoyment especially back in the day i mean there's just so so many amazing songs and we just you know i can't hear that because now please listen to me god's number one objective is that you get to know him that you learn how to enjoy life and that you live it enjoying life here's what i have to say if you don't get anything else out of this sermon today learn how to enjoy life learned your life me and taffy went hiking through canyons this past week well i don't know you i don't hike it's just that one no way through except walking learn how to enjoy your life quit being quit being so stuck up in your holiness that you end up not being holy at all [Applause] so the world these set of people who have yet to accept jesus the world these set of folks who are still not thinking in line with his god's word that's the world see you're you're only one jesus away from hell yourself do you understand that you're you're not heaven bound because of your wonderful works you're not having bound because of all your beautiful things you do and while you do your wonderful work you condem other people for not doing what you do the only only reason you're getting in is because you accepted jesus and what he has done so now let's let's look at these scriptures go back to where we started everybody cool where we are now so you know what the world is now we live in the world but we're not of the world you understand that we're here but we're we don't we don't believe like the world we don't think like the world we don't speak like the world we don't panic like the world we try to respond to the word of god by faith instead of the way that the world wants now that type of response is going to draw people to want to be like you but you cannot continue to wear the t-shirt that says i'm a christian while you demonstrate the character of the world so what's the difference you see all right now let's go back to where we started from i'm gonna i'm gonna sew this in you it's gonna seem like i cut the top of your head open and just poured the stuff down in there you're gonna get this today if i have to miss the falcons game today you are going to get this and i'm not gonna miss it because you're gonna get it for god sent not his son into the world to condemn the world another translation says to judge the world jesus didn't come to condemn everybody jesus didn't come to condemn you because you did that or you did that or jesus didn't come to condemn you because your behavior was bad he didn't come to forgive you because you didn't speak the right words he didn't come to condemn you because you miss a week of praying he didn't come to condemn or judge you for that i want you to get this with all of the things that are in this world with all of the things that are within in the lives of christian people jesus didn't show up to to to condemn you and judge you with all the messy stuff that people have in their life jesus didn't come to condemn your mess amen think of that he didn't come to there's jesus didn't come like some church folks look at her off to be ashamed of herself jesus didn't come to do that so why are you doing it why are you why are church people constantly condemning other church people when you have enough stuff to deal with concerning your own self you find the time to get in somebody else's business to judge and condemn them as if you have made it now maybe you didn't break the the the the top 10 10 commandments man maybe you didn't do this maybe you do that but your attitude there's no other way for me to say this sucks [Applause] probably could have got a better word but your attitude is bad you you you every time you go somewhere to eat your heart you're real hard on the on the servers that come and try to waitresses and everything you wake up i ain't leaving you no tip and you know that's that's they make their living that way that is as much as sin as the god committing adultery all right so now listen to this but jesus didn't come to condemn the world see the world's not even saved and he didn't come to condemn all imagine this stuff and you ain't got to imagine that you were in the world at one time you were of the world at one time you already know he didn't come to condemn or judge the world and and that's all we do look at them shy lord have mercy help them jesus uh uh off to be ashamed of themselves and we say people i hear preachers when they preach they say people they say to people you ought to be ashamed you get shamed from the pulpit and jesus didn't come to condemn the world okay so if he didn't come to condemn the world why did he show up so that that world with all of that mess and all of that junk and all that bad behavior and all of that lust of the eyes and the and the lust of the flesh and the pride of life with all of the stuff that's going on jesus said this is why i came i came so that the world through me can be saved i came to rescue a world that was swimming in mess and he said they can't do it on their own i came to get them out of it i am their way out of their bad behavior i am their way out of the of the stuff that came from abusive stuff in the past i am their way out of being raped i am their way out of hating and being hated i am their way out of gossip i am their way out of the secret closet saying i am their way out i came to be their way out i didn't come to beat them up because of their sin i came to be their way out jesus is our way out he is our way out now he came to be the way out for the world but he's also the way out for those of you who are born again is still struggling in certain areas your answer is jesus so here's what we substituted for jesus for christian people i'm gonna learn these seven ways of doing it and with my own effort i'm gonna do these seven things and i should be good now here's the sad part about it is you did those seven things and they they did pretty good for maybe a week or two but you found yourself right back in it because you ignored the way out for your own self-preservation you want to preserve yourself by yourself you're trying to be like god without god somehow you think through your own self-effort that you can overcome your bad behavior you can come you can overcome your your idiosyncrasies you can overcome all of that stuff without jesus i don't need a jesus i hear these intelligent folks who think they figured life out and i'm sitting back here thinking bless their heart they're having a pretty successful season right now but all hell is going to break loose again because they trying to be like god without god there's so many people say i don't need god i don't need the world i don't need the church i'm sorry that you had a bad experience at church and you're right you know god tells us not to forsake ourselves uh assembling ourselves together but that doesn't mean come to church it means get together as a community and keep building one another up so if one of them's tipping to fall you'll be there to kind of help them so it's more than just coming to church it's community it don't forsake community stay around save people stay around people who are strong in the lord so if you feel like you're about to give up caving and quit there's somebody that can be used by god can speak a word into your life that's what that means we're not to change the scripture and manipulate it to try to get you to come to church and then put fear on you and say if you don't come to church then you ain't no good no no no no i'm not going to condemn you and judge you i'm saying you need jesus because if you get jesus you're going to want to come to church you're going to want to be around those people that are safe but i don't want to be around somebody every time i show up you're condemning me beating me up and telling me i'm gonna be in hell by noon [Applause] and some people say well he's preaching that greasy grace now you don't understand you don't understand until you believe and trust in jesus only then will you understand that he can do stuff on the inside of you that you've been trying to do all your life and and you'll you'll change your behavior because you trust him well you know this group said they ain't know jesus or that group say you know don't believe in jesus because he was white or that group said you know don't believe in jesus because you know there's all kinds of people jesus already prophesied that was going to come in the last days antichrist spirits that are going to try to get you away from the lord jesus christ all right now let's look at the same scripture i am on one scripture wow let's look at the tpt version of the same scripture jesus didn't come to condemn he didn't come to get to them i can't sit up in this pulpit and condemn people's sins like i used to i was a baptist preacher used to tear the church up if you could just find a few sins and condemn them all and people used to shout and you better preach and they they they had the problem you know hit dogger holo holla the loudest but i found out jesus didn't come to condemn the world i don't want you to ever come here no no don't get me wrong sin has consequences and they're bad but my job is not to beat you up because of your sins my job is to point you toward the solution of the word of god and the person of jesus christ look at this in tpt god did not send his son into the world to judge and condemn the world but to be its savior and rescue it jesus wants to rescue you from your bad behavior jesus wants to rescue you from your bad attitude jesus wants to rescue you from your secret sins jesus wants to rescue you from your condemnation because all that stuff brings about condemnation he wants to rescue you from your shame because all that stuff brings about shame he wants to rescue you from your guilt because all of that stuff brings guilt and when you're operating in condemnation shame and guilt it'll stop you from going forward because every time you go forward the condemnation pulls you back every time you go forward the shame pulls you back every time you go forward the guilt pulls you back and you're stuck in shame and guilt and jesus says i've come to rescue you from the shame and the guilt you know what he said about shame he said he that believeth in jesus shall not be put to shame you know he said about condemnation there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in christ jesus in both cases christ jesus is your way out of condemnation guilt and shame amen i look at first john chapter two verse two in the king james first john two and two but pastor you know you need to tell these people about their sin let me tell you something let me tell you what i've learned about people people gonna do what they want to do people some people say i need my sin somebody says why would you say that they see the only way i have relief from all of this crap that's happened to me in my life this is this makes me feel good this sin makes me feel good i need my sin and they go into self-gratification and they trust their their self to deal with their issues rather than trust in jesus and and people going to do what they want to do i can say what i want to say i'm believing god will will help me when i preach but i said you want to say and some people hear me and say well i hear what you're saying pastor but i'm still i'm still smoking my weed and i'm still going to sleep around cause that's what i want to do and you know what you're a free moral agent you get to do whatever you want to do but there are consequences for your choices choose life or death choose a blessing or curse you choose you have to make that choice and that's what i mean i would love for when i preach the gospel everybody respond but it's just not like that i hear what you're saying reverend but you know uh i you know i i i i'm shackened up and and and and and and now i got i got uh two more folks in here you know i'm a man and now i got two women and we're having this poly thing going on and and and and ain't nothing wrong with it it actually it actually is because there's an inequality in this one man having multiple women uh what you're doing is you're robbing those women of the opportunity for them to mature greatly in who they are and mature greatly in in the security of what they have and you're robbing them for that because it's just you and three of them and and you have to come and choose which you know brings about rejection and all kinds of stuff there's a lot of damaging things but if you're just getting with uh somebody in multiple marriage uh just so y'all can have some money they ain't gonna be enough after a while because you know he choosing her every night and choosing you maybe once a year and and that's that's that's rejection uh that's a lot of emotional stuff that's coming in and damaging you and you're never being able to grow in the fullness of who god wants you to do because you're in a perverted situation and thinking that it's okay now you can make a decision to do that and jesus is not going to condemn you from doing that but there are consequences for making those bad decisions but he says i can save you from that i can rescue you from that i'm speaking these things and some of you think of really people do that girl you ain't heard the half but the half ain't being told there's some stuff going on i don't even know what to call it i don't even know how to talk about it i'm talking about the old stuff 30 years ago there's a lot of new stuff going on now because the norms and the values of the world has reached their ultimate place whatever makes you feel good do it [Music] jesus says i want to rescue you from that and he's the only way out and you may enjoy it for a moment or years but you'll end up one day in such regret and jesus will still be there to rescue you from that he's never going to quit on you he's never going to quit on you maybe you lost a lot of years of your life and maybe you you you you have a lot of great regret a lot of pain and maybe we maybe i can go back in the past and find out what happened to cause you to be like that but at the end of the day jesus is still standing there with his hands wide open his arms open saying i'm still here all of the junk you just went through is still not enough to drive me away i've been waiting on you son i've been waiting on you daughter come on i want to rescue you from that [Music] see every decision right and wrong has a consequence for it you make a decision decision is the open door into reality and there's a devil working in the people in in minds of people that's why there's got to be a move of god a move of god where god's going to use his goodness to wake up everybody who thought they wanted to live the life and the wickedness that they're living in and jesus will still be there and you know what's going to cause people to repent and change god's going to still be there you you you know and the devil is make sure he's the accuser of the brethren he wants to make sure that you know that you don't deserve nothing good and you walk around living the life feeling like you don't deserve nothing you feel like you ain't nothing you feel like that and god don't love you and you've done too many things for god to love you and he don't want to have nothing to do with you and then one day in your worst situation you hear him and he whispers in your ear i'm still here i love you can i have a shot i'll never leave you somebody says pastor you got it mixed up that's for the church he came to save the church pastor you got it all mixed up let's read these scriptures first john 2 and 2. first john 2 2 and the king james says and he is the propitiation for our sins propitiation when you talk about he is he's he's he's not only the substitute he's not only the sacrifice that word perpetuation payment uh he's the payment for our sin he paid a ransom so you can be free from your sins he he he sacrificed his body so you can be free from your sins he was the pavement for your freedom for your rescue but not for yours only but also for the sins of the whole world jesus was the pavement and the sacrifice for any man that came on the earth whether he saved or unsaved he says i'll be the payment for anybody who wants me for anybody who wants what i paid for mankind to have i am here for them i am the payment those of you who are saved hey you took advantage of the payment let's go to this next chapter john john chapter 1 verse 29 john chapter 1 verse 29 the next day john seeks jesus coming unto him and he saith behold the lamb of god which taketh away the sin of the world did you hear that he has already on the cross please listen to this i don't know how this mindset showed up but jesus took away the sin of the world somehow christian people think now that's just for us no no no he died for the whole world he died for that that uh that drug pusher that drug addict he died for that prostitute he died for that person addicted to this addicted to that he died for the whole world he took away the sins for the whole world now that blew my mind the very god you're condemning and judge jesus took away his sin all you have to do to take advantage of what he did was kind of like you do for when a fedex package comes sign for the package sign for the package now here is the real torment of hell i think this is going to be more tormenting than the fire the real torment of hell is when you get there and realize that jesus had done everything for you to get saved and all you had to do is accept it you didn't have to do no 1500 million 11 things you didn't have to do all the good or goody stuff all you had to do is say jesus i believe come into my life and you're saved [Applause] imagine being in hell and coming and realizing that oh my god all i had to do is sign for the package oh my god all i had to do is sign for the package oh lord all i had to do is get saved all i had to do is say jesus coming to my life jesus that prayer jesus is coming in my life doesn't mean you're flawless if you were flawless after that you wouldn't need the holy ghost you would need the word you would need to come to church you would need the 5-fold ministry gift there's so much going on in your life on an everyday basis jesus understands in the in the natural you have to grow you crawl then you walk and when you first start walking you start falling all over the place and then you grow up and then you mature and and i've come to understand not to get too upset when a 20 year old makes a dumb decision because that's what 20 year olds do sometimes but we get so so deep that we put pressure so if you ain't gonna embarrass me never didn't understand it when my mama said boy you make sure you she see the underwear climb holes and unwell she said throw them things away you ain't gonna embarrass me if something happened to you and the ambulance have to come and pick you up and you got them dirty draws on huh this this is humbling that jesus died for the whole world which you and i used to be a part of he saved you and you can condemn somebody else when he saved you you ain't forgot about what you used to be you used to be old dirty dog just like the person you caught in a dirty dog all of us used to be dirty some of you still daddy but jesus [Applause] and there's been such an attack on jesus such an attack on jesus now here's the question why did you get saved just think why did you get saved was it to avoid hell yeah that's what me my initial motivation i don't want to go to hell ain't nobody tell me stuff i'm telling you now they just told me you need to get one person put it like this get filled or get grilled i'm like whoa why did you why did you get saved initially my motivation was not so i won't go to hell think about me for a moment really that's that's of course one benefit but is that it i'm saved i miss hell hoorah that can't be all it is to this get saved so you don't go to hell now let me make a plan you need to get saved oh you are going to hell okay i'm not changing that but is that it is that the sum total of believing god and making him the lord of my life the real purpose of salvation is an intimate relationship with god the real purpose for getting saved is so that you human can have a relationship with god who is a spirit and let him come into your human life and show you how to live and show you how to walk and show you how to talk and show you how to get victory and show you how to overcome the devil and the things of this world the real reason for salvation is an intimate relationship with god and somehow born-again people are so satisfied with their born-again status and t-shirt that they take they obtain a lot of knowledge about him never getting to know him and and then you find out what are the things you're supposed to do that you can say supposed to go to church you're supposed to do good you're supposed to act right and we fail in that horribly we don't go to church we do good sometimes and we act right based on how we feeling don't mess with me today [Music] [Applause] the real reason that the purpose of the salvation is so that when all of these things that i encounter as a human happen i know god and i can honestly and openly go to him and say god i need help i'm angry i'm mad and i want to hurt somebody and he and he interacts with me and he he does something in my heart i can't explain he gives me a peace that passes my understanding then he changes the situation and all of a sudden i am i am walking with him and he is doing what i can't do while maturing me as i do it i i'm in a habit of before i go to bed one of the last things i take care of before i go to bed at night is father you said you give your your loved ones sweet sleep and father i thank you for sweet sleep tonight and i and i say lord i'd like eight hours tonight and i get up in these eight hours and one friday i said lord i'd like to sleep about nine hours i said 10. i hadn't slept that long in years and i did i said lord what's up what you've never asked me like this before i don't i don't ask and like wonder if he gonna do it the relationship is so awesome that when i ask i i immediately go into the peace of knowing i know him i know him i i mean this is not some fable this is that no it's a little game i i talk with him every day glory what i used to do is go in the prayer for an hour and again and don't say nothing else no more until the next morning what kind of relationship is that your husband or wife you spend an hour a day with them and don't say nothing else for the rest of the day what kind of relationship you think is gonna have and we've been doing god the same way i wanted to fulfill the one-hour quota because that's what he told me to do at church and that's not what it is it is an intimate relationship with him where where i talk to him and he's talking back to me and sometimes god initiates the conversation and he asks me a question that he already knows the answer to but he's not asking me because he don't know the answer he's asking me so i can think about see got to do this to me sometimes he'll ask me the question and give me the answer [Applause] and we won't do that because we're afraid people might doubt us or think that we're weird or you speak to god oh god talks to you and the number of times i've sat and studied and i see something and then i hear him talking to me and i get it god's not interested in all your good works he wants you he wants a relationship with you like he had with adam and eve where he can talk to you and you talk to him and satan does not want that to take place you know what we do we get born again what are the rules what are the rules what are the rules what do we do what do we do what do we do what are the works what are the works what are the works and then we get so busy working for god that we never took the time to get to know god i feel the anointing in this place all over my hands right now i know this is the word of the lord for us this is what's going to prepare us this is why we need to get on our how to have his head your tipitos baby because god's getting ready to use people who know their god people who know their god not people who come in and play in church but people who know their god jesus died to produce the opportunity to be intimate with god not just to miss hell jesus died for the opportunity for us to be intimate with god not just to miss hell it is not going to be impressive to god if you show up with all of your long lists of all the good works you did he's like dude who are you there's no way you're afraid to die anymore you know him free to die well i know him he's got me i know him i know him god's not impressed with your status of a christian you don't want to go to heaven and maybe there's a hallway and you're walking down it and jesus goes right by you have no idea who he is i don't want to pass jesus and because i was so busy working for him oh i did this and i did that i did that i'm going to tell you this when i tell you my testimony of what happened to me about a month or so ago but one of the things that happened was the fact that you know i saw this place and it ended and there was absolutely no noise questions or anything about what i did none you you really think that well i'm gonna do these things and they're gonna give me a party for doing what i was supposed to do they're gonna give me a part no you don't have to worry about doing the right things when you have a relationship with him he will specifically direct you and show you what you're supposed to be doing see you got you got a reason to be here and he's the only one that knows the perfect reason for you being here and i don't want to miss that i don't want to get caught in translation you see what happens in our lives is we have these laps that we run and if we successfully run that one lap getting some love then we can run the next lap operating by faith and run the next lap getting our tempers together run the next lap but sometimes we get stuck on one lap and think that's the will of god for our lives and all of these laughs are to prepare us for the ultimate will of god for our life and you're not gonna god's never gonna give you the ultimate will of god for your life until you're ready to receive it and a lot of you not ready to receive because you hadn't matured in 10 years you're still getting offended you're still not seeking god but you're seeking validation you're still doing all of the worldly stuff as christian people because they had matured and you're not going to mature trying to keep rules and regulations of the church [Applause] but when you get to know him and walk with him and then he starts rubbing off on you and that anointing comes on you and you hear him and he hears you and and there's a daily relationship where one day you will wake up and you don't care about none of the stuff you care about now you don't care about who talking about you you don't care about who who who betrayed you you don't care about who's trying to use you you don't care about nothing but whatever god wants and you talk to him and it gives you peace that passes all understanding and there's nothing like having your peace in the midst of tribulation but people that come to church don't know god a lot of things don't matter to me no more they just don't certain things used to bother me when it shows up i'm like that's garbage i won't even give it access you can't come in my head because that's garbage you're not gonna rent space in my mind that's garbage that's not gonna i'm not gonna let that distract me from god help me lord i remember when god said to me one time he said how can i use your mouth when you share it with the enemy and you let him use it more than you let me use it that's the personal relationship with god he'll tell you stuff that you don't get at church because nobody knows you like he knows you and you can shoot the bull with everybody but you can't shoot it with god cause he already know you he knows you intimately he knows you deeply somebody says how deep did god know you he knows every he knows you so well that he knows the number of hairs on your head well ain't got no helmet here you know you know what so catch yourself when you want to throw that bull at god remember he already knows you better than he knows you really he does he knows you better than you know yourself he said the real issue issue of why you don't want to go around them is cause you jealous see god's talk that's what a personal relationship will do he says but i'll rescue you from that jealousy if you'll just accept the identity that i've given you you don't need to be jealous of nobody just go ahead and believe what i told you about yourself and men are good with that and i'm so glad to see the men that come to our church and and stream on it's an awesome thing but but men love covering up when they find inadequacies and insufficiencies and things that they're ashamed of and things that they feel condemned and guilty of and and regret and and i messed up and i should have did this and i should have did that i'm ashamed that i did that and i can't believe i did that and i did that and i feel bad about this and i feel bad about that and so you cover it up because you don't want to be found out you don't want to be found out that you're not the man that you portray because once the covers are over you then what comes through the covers is false manhood nobody really knows you but god because he's under the covers with the real you while the false you parades around like this is really you and god is still saying i can rescue you from all that dude you ain't got to do that by yourself well you know you know i'm a man i can't stand up and worship god i tell you what when your butt get tired of being kicked by the world by the devil and by all of this junk you'll stand up and on top of the chair and and worship god you'll fall on the floor and cry before god i said the same thing i you know i want to cry a lot more than what i did you know a few months ago and i mean i've been crying ever since but part of me is like i ain't crying in front of nobody i ain't i'm gonna man up i ain't doing that little punk sitting up in the pool here crying i ain't doing none of that and now it don't matter i cried the drop of a hat i don't care what you think about me that is not garbage that is not in my mind right now i i i i did both shut up i'm focused in on him he's been too good to me he's rescued me saved me matured me vindicated me delivered me from shame delivered me from condemnation delivering me from guilt he is still there saying i am your rescuer i will save you not just save your soul from hell i'll save you from pain and addiction and hurt if you listen to me if you'll walk with me [Applause] look at luke 10 38 through 242 in the nlt 38-42 knowing god is is it can't be accomplished here this is our time of gathering and fellowshipping one another and strengthening one another but this shouldn't be the sum total of your relationship with god coming to church or streaming and logging on you're gonna die one day don't you understand me you're gonna die one day everybody's gonna die one day and everything you do here man it's it's it's it's it's going to tell the story i'm not just i know i'm going to go to heaven but i don't want to i'm going to be up in heaven and god is telling me you know why didn't you why don't you do what i showed you here why didn't you you never could get free from uh needing to be validated huh you always afraid of uh you always vulnerable just just afraid to be vulnerable because you feared the hurt that would come by being vulnerable and therefore you could never experience real intimacy with me because you was you were too afraid to be vulnerable you didn't you didn't feel safe enough to expose your relationship with me for fear of what others would say about you somebody said uh you mind if i ask you what you what what you do for a living i'm a preacher i'm not gonna be ashamed of the gospel or saying jesus but i tell you when i when i leave here i'm gonna leave like paul did lord i have finished i have done what you told me to do is there anything else we can do right now i'm in the process of being delivered from the selfishness of wanting to leave it's easy to do i didn't i didn't know it was that easy and i'm asking lord i need to i need to check some stuff out here and god said you told me that that you would stay on this earth as long as i needed you and i need you and i'm like i did didn't i then i just started looking at people i'm like these people crazy these people are crazy do you see the world ago yeah but it took me 40 years to get you ready for all of this craziness i said oh god deliver me from wanting to leave so i'm ready i'm ready man as long as i got my wife and she's now she got make up mine no she can't believe me me here either she said how long you plan on being 120. she said i ain't staying that long i'ma tell you that right now i'm trying to be real with y'all today man you're going to die one day are you ready to die not not i'm going to heaven really you go to heaven and when you get heavy you're going to you're gonna you're gonna kind of wish i wish i did a lot more of spending time with god and the number one thing i've heard every person oral roberts and all these people who went home to be with the lord i said what's the one thing if you could do over again that you that you would do he said i would spend more time learning how to love and treat people i was like wow for me what's my biggest regret i don't think i have any i used to have a bunch but now looking at it and having talked to god and he talked to me about i don't have any everything i've ever experienced with the particles and the ingredients that were needed to bring me to where i am today [Applause] all right let's look at this luke 10 38 as jesus and the disciples continued on their way to jerusalem they came to a certain village where a woman named martha welcomed him into her home her sister mary sat at the lord's feet listening to what he taught but martha was distracted say distracted how many minutes of the day are you allowing yourself to be distracted by the tumfoolery of this world a distraction is an intrusion of the mind trying to cause confusion in your life and certain things you hear and certain things you deal with they're nothing but distractions but martha was distracted by the big dinner she was preparing she came to jesus and she said lord doesn't it seem unfair to you talking to jesus that my sister just sits here while i do all the work my god boy didn't that describe the church today tell her to come and help me but the lord said to her my dear martha the king james says martha martha martha you are worried and upset over all these details how you know how many you know details can become distractions you're worried and upset over all these details but there is only one thing worth being concerned about what what's the one thing he wants me to be concerned about he said it's what mary has discovered well what did mary discover sit and listen to the words of jesus why because when you get up from sitting you'll know what to do because you've been spending time with jesus it will not be taken away from her but that's amazing me we still don't get that we got to do we got to do we got to do we got to do we got to work we got to work we got to where that work what have you prayed about it pastor could you pray about what i need to do uh about my job no no i'm not going to pray he's going to talk to you about your job before he talked to me [Applause] i ain't praying for you cause you don't pray [Applause] and he used to be acting like i'm going to hear from god about your situation that's your situation that's your situation and we do that it's religious pastor could you pray could you pray over my new car no i don't have to drive it you got to drive it i'm not praying over your new car what kind of pastor are you one who refuses to go through pastor abuse by a bunch of lazy christians who don't want to do what they know they need to do for themselves alrighty that came out weird tell us what else is on your mind preacher i'm getting this stuff i'm like i'm not gonna i'm not gonna fall pray for that i'm not coming over and dedicating somebody's house it's your house you got to live in it dedicate it yourself i ain't doing none of that what are the spiritual supposed to be that ain't in the bible show it to me well jesus wouldn't do that oh really jesus you but we got to come we got to bury let the dead bury the dead either you go on with me or what oh you let that happen now and i tell you let the dead bury the dead we need to go do this leader church why does that happen because we've not matured in an intimate relationship with god so it's easier to take the cheaper instead of the deeper come to church and play church for hour so and then go out and feel fulfilled because we check our box we went to church today and there's something much more deeper a personal relationship with god amen not the greek of the word concern well the greek word concerned is the word talahuso and hal hoso means uh with deep understanding and care i'll speak greek i speak english and i'm concerned about why you haven't grown and i'm concerned about why you're still getting offended and i'm concerned about how can you come to church and say this is the church god called me to and i ain't seen you in two years well it's the pandemic yeah but i saw you at the club when i passed by going to the falcons game the other day i saw you at the club [Applause] i see you at the party [Music] i see you at the weddings see negro do what negro want to do lord have mercy i can't believe i said that but but [Applause] it might be time for me to buy up we keep playing these games because we don't have no interrelations with god and if you had an intimate relationship with god he will confront you with these things [Music] but you don't ever get a in a posture where he can talk to you and then when you finally get an posture you do all the talking you like i just you know i tell creflo to say it tomorrow i was trying to tell them [Applause] the immaturity continues because there is no intimate relationship with god and don't look at me with that attitude god says speak the truth in love who do you think you are to not tell somebody the truth because you feel sorry for them [Music] when god says if you're going to speak something speak the truth do it in love don't refrain from the truth and call it love that's a loving way you can speak the truth there's a level where you can tell somebody you know what dude i i appreciate you so much but bruh you talk too much homeboy you never shut up hey you talk how are they ever going to make the adjustment see god says he can speak to us on some of those occasions but a lot of those occasions should be dealt with in an intimate relationship with god so he can talk to you and mature you and chasing you and my time's all up did y'all get anything out of it y'all y'all still love me don't you i know i just you sure got some stuff off your chest no this is this is one of the things the lord showed me he says if you come home now it's incomplete there's a lot of god to say through you and there's a lot he's got to say through you the anointing is on the congregation now and god wants to use you to bring unsaved family friends strangers to the knowledge of the truth of his word but he can't do that with all these little church games we're playing an intimate relationship with him well i didn't finish it today so we're gonna have to go at it next week i ain't in a rush i don't know when jesus is going to come back it will be soon but i don't know the day or the hour i can read the signs of the time and he's closer than he's ever been before holy spirit speak to your precious people say things to them that will revolutionize and change their lives let them walk with you and talk with you and not be just satisfied with a t-shirt that says christian but to be satisfied because they know you help us all to just continue to mature help us all to continue to grow and to be who you've called us to be we trust you we praise you and we need you thank you for being our savior thank you for rescuing us from a pit of hell thank you for rescuing us from immaturity and helping us to grow but now lord help us to get to know you intimately and more personally if you're here right now or if you're on the stream and you've never made jesus the lord of your life would you pray this simple prayer with me this simple prayer that says i signed for the package the simple prayer that says i accept your free gift of forgiveness if you're not saved pray this after me out loud heavenly father i realize that i'm a sinner but right now i repent of my sins i accept the free gift of forgiveness that you have extended towards me heavenly father come into my heart be my lord and my savior i receive you now by faith i declare that i am saved in jesus name amen that simple it has always been that simple but now it's the journey that's going to be amazing it's the journey that's going to cause us to grow it's that intimate walk with god that will show us the wonders of his love in his presence remember there's fullness of joy and at his right hand there are pleasures forevermore learn to walk with god be happy enjoy life that's what god wants for us amen let's go ahead and conclude our worship today through the giving of our gifts at world changes we are absolutely convinced that our giving is a part of who we are as christians that in this relationship we give to god in thanksgiving and appreciation for all the things that he has done in this relationship we give to god thanking him for every miracle for every deliverance for saving us and the list goes on but this is a time where we can give glory to his name bring an offering worship him in the beauty of his holiness and to have a flashback with thanksgiving that's what that's for our our offerings are not given to manipulate god and our offerings are not well you know if you're going to get blessed you got to give an offering first now the blessing has already been extended towards you by faith you take it our offerings and our giving is to give out of worship and thanksgiving and i appreciate appreciation to god so if you need an offering envelope if you will lift your hands up the ushers will law you got to do this in order to get god to do that but giving on in the new testament covenant of grace is he's already done that and in the appreciation of what he's already done i want to thank him and i want to worship him for what he's already done we don't excuse my english when i say this but you'll get the picture we don't got to give we get to give that make you understand what i'm saying i get to do that it is my honor and my deepest pleasure to be able to worship god with my gifts and i think that makes a big difference so let's uh you can go ahead and complete it if you're streaming in uh us just go ahead and receive the offering and uh i i really really really appreciate you guys being here today but i'm uh what did i do with my offering i took that thing with me one time for a week i didn't know what i did with it what was i saying oh yeah i really appreciate you guys for number one for being here today for number two those of you who are streaming in every to shepherd you and teach you taffy and i take great joy in that and you have to make that decision you're you're here like i said it's your relationship with god somebody says well i don't necessarily hear god well let peace rule in your heart as an umpire and when there's peace there that's most likely you can kind of follow that peace but if you believe that god's called you to join
