what's up guys it's a boy Allen Wade thank you so much for joining me once again if it's your first time here don't forget to subscribe to the channel and give this video a thumbs up so you guys asked for a video how to directly and broader to a t-shirt or garment whatever you want to know so this is gonna vary depending on the material this is not like a universal thing so I advise you guys to get old shirt or old pants or old sweatshirt and experiment a little bit because the same tension and things like that don't apply to every single garment you don't make the same you don't use the same settings for every garment because different fabrics have different thicknesses so it's gonna it's gonna vary it's gonna be trial and error you're gonna have to play around with it but I'm going to show you how I embroider directly to garments and the things that you're going to need and some tricks some tension tricks in your machine that you might want to look out for but mainly I want you guys to pay attention to how I move my fabric to the preparation before I hope it all right because that's going to be key that's gonna be key that along with attention is gonna be key alright so you're gonna have to play along with play around with those few things so let's jump into it without further ado let me show you what you're gonna need alright guys so the main thing I want you guys to get is some spray on adhesive I have right here fast tech 384 I've checked in the Amazon store and I can't seem to find it but there's many different versions of it but you want it what you want to do is you want to make sure that you check and make sure you can use it for own fabrics okay so mine right here it says ideal for flash curing screen printing and plastisol inks so I got this for my screen printing I was going to start screen printing but I never started screen printing so this is the stuff that you're gonna need you don't just hoop up your fabric your stabilizer underneath your fabric just like you do when you're making a patch you want it use some fast tech because I'm telling you you got to make your fabric a little bit like a little bit more solid and a little bit more stable it needs some aid because you're the way the t-shirts are made they're made very thin they're made very thin so that it be comfortable when somebody's wearing it so you want to make it a little bit thicker so you need this spray on adhesive I cannot stress this enough you need to get the spray on adhesive product links to some adhesive that I recommend will be down below okay so the second thing you're gonna need is some fabric all right you're gonna need some fabric you're not gonna use your tearaway stabilizer you're stitching this onto a shirt all right you don't want to use tearaway stabilizer you want to use actual material and you want to cut out the excess around the around the must got got a sale on a website you want to UM cut out the excess of after you're done stitching it out you want to physically cut it out use your free check on there if you want to but you the main thing you're gonna want to use material and not tearaway stabilizer okay I'm gonna say if your stitching out a four by four you're gonna you're gonna cut out ten by ten all right you're gonna cut out ten by ten all right so cut out a ten by ten if you're using four by four hoop cut out a ten by ten piece of fabric all right even though your design is gonna be like this small because you want it to hoop properly all right so just listen what I'm saying dude I'm telling you to do okay all right that's the second step step number two okay those are two things that you're gonna need you have everything else actually so those are two things you're gonna need spray on adhesive and some fabric all right everybody once you have you are ten by ten a square piece of cloth I cut this out to 11 by 11 inches all right once you got that you get your t-shirt I got a small t-shirt here and what up this is what I'm gonna do this is what I advise you to do okay you look at your t-shirt you decide where you want your design to go and you kind of line this up like this and what I'm doing is I'm kind of like measuring out I'm gonna place my hoop so I grab my hoop and I say I'm gonna place it like this or like this you just figure out where you gonna place your hoop and most likely you're gonna place your loop like this but you want to keep track of where this is right here all right this is the part that's hooking up to the Machine and I'll show you why later so you know you want your want your cloth to lay around this part because this is gonna be your backing so what I'm gonna do is what I do on this side all right so I'll turn my shirt inside out turn my shirt inside out lay it down flat all right all right turn it down and setup lay it down flat now because I turned it up inside out it's not on this side it's on this side all right so I'm gonna lay my backing down so what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna spray this I'm gonna spray this material right here and I'm gonna place to place it down on there all right so let me show you what I'm doing all right I got my I got my fast tack right spray on adhesive so I'm gonna spray spray it on there this stuff is very very sticky bring it on there and now I'm just going to lay it down make sure this is flat make sure this is nice and flat I'm gonna lay it down on there cuz it's gonna stick this stuff is good just lay it down on there like so just like that all right so I got my fast tack on it's stuck to there all right stuck on this shirt so now this is my stabilizer all right and when you peel it off it comes right off but this is what we're using a stabilizer shirt and I would turn it back right side in all right turn it back around right side in now you can kind of see how it's making the shirt that is kind of soft it's making it have less gif because it's it's like it's like a layer of protection all right so this is where it gets critical so this is what I do I take the bottom part of my shirt and I just start rolling it up like this you see what I'm doing rolling it up rolling it up all right now everybody's going to do this part right here different some people use like templates I eyeball it and I take and I put this under here and I kind of like line it up to the point where it looks pretty pretty in the center not not in the center but like where I want my design to be so you know your design is going to be in the center of this hoop so if you want it to be on a pocket so this right here in this case is going to be on a left breast all right and normally you put stuff right here on the right breast but this one was gonna be on the left breast gonna be a little different is it all right you typically want to put stuff over here but you know I'm just making this video just for demonstration purposes all right so let me line this up so the design is going to start stitching out I'm gonna put move it up just a little bit and typically you want your design to start like you want you to design to be like right here so it's gonna starve out yeah all right I move it up just a little bit all right so that's about where I want it to be so now I'm gonna hoop it all right loop that just like that nice and flat all right get a slack out see how it's nice and perfectly flat and you reach under there and you go ahead and screw that in screw that in and make that nice and tight screwing it in alright alright so now we got that screwed in we can go ahead and put in a machine alright so come over to our machine one thing we're gonna do is make sure we got enough bobbin thread in to our to do our design and I don't think we do so I'm gonna put a new bobbin in well this bobbin has a lot on it I just switched I had another white bobbin sitting on a saw so I'm just going to use this and I'm going to turn the bobbin in right here alright it's actually one multi-part video I should did this off-camera but it's okay alright so now we got our shirt we are going to pass our access material underneath the needle open it up from the bottom open it up hold it bring it slide it underneath make it flat and slide it underneath there just like you're doing position it and grab this part right here and attach it and then lay it out and check to make sure no shirt is underneath here alright so all the access is just right there now this is the part where you want to pay attention guys pay attention because this is where you can mess up your design because typically you would stitch it out and it was stitch out this way well guess what your designs gonna be sideways your neckline is over here alright your neckline is over here so you have to turn your design in the application all right so let's navigate to our design alright we're gonna go over here focus the camera a little bit and we're going to navigate to our USB Drive and pick out a file that we're gonna embroider alright you guys see I have a lot of files on here so it's gonna take a little while and I'm going to do a double alright so I just changed up the definition file and I did the double stitch thing so this right here guys is trial and error this is what you're gonna be doing trial and error stuff okay now wait 19 where's my dubnation where's my dubnation patch all these files are available on a Wacom there it is right there dub nation all right so that's the file alright so as it lies right here it's gonna stitch out as it lies right here it's gonna stitch out this way you have to rotate it rotate 90 degrees now it's sideways now it's going to stitch out this way because this is where our neckline is you got to pay attention to that alright so my design is now sideways and the machine is gonna stitch it out this way alright because I just turned it press ok to confirm and edit embroider so it's gonna take 27 minutes we're going to load up our first thread it's gonna be the blue all right and we got a white shirt so we can see and track along with the progress let's load up our white thread I said white thread did not you guys do it on that blue thread so you guys over top you this time I load it on up I load it on up and we're gonna start with the stitch out alright let's go actually guys before we start with the stitch out I want to show you guys something really critical to stitching out garments stitching out embroidery designs onto garments ok and it's going to be the tension wheel this is your tension wheel right and a lot of people don't know how to use this thing don't know what it does or maybe they're just not you know for me with their you know operations so I'm gonna show you this is what I have it on normally when stitching out patches but okay so just look at it like this the lower the number the less tension the higher the number the more tension the tighter the tighter it is the lower the number the less tension once again the higher the number the okay and the higher the number the more tension alright so low numbers equals a loose stitch right high numbers equals a tight stitch the tighter the stitch the more pull the more it's going to pull on the fabric and the more it's going to give you that effect of the fabric pulling that you don't want that you don't want okay so let's think about it like this you got the t-shirt right here right got your t-shirt right here okay so when you're looking when you're trying to adjust for attention right and you're doing your tests and stuff like that you want to look at it like this the bobbin thread and the spool thread are supposed to meet in the middle all right if you have too much tension the bobbin thread at the top is going to pull the spool thread to the top and you're going to see some of the schools pull spool threads start to peak through all right and in turn if this if the tension is is too is too loose right now if you have too much if you I'm sorry I'm saying that wrong if you if the tension is too loose yeah if the tension is too loose then the spool thread is going to pull the bobbin thread through and you're gonna see the bottom turn at the bottom so you need it to be even you need a good tension so that both of the bobbin thread and the spool thread meet in between if that makes any sense to you all right so once again too much tension the bobbin thread will pull the spool thread through to a little tension and the spool thread will pull the bobbin thread all the way through you got to have just the right amount so that your design stitches out as intended alright so now that all that is taken care of we got our attention right once again right we have our design turned the correct direction so that stitches corresponding to the neckline right there now we can go ahead and start stitching out lower the foot okay and at it sorry there we go little foot design changes because it and edit and then we can press the button and let the design start to stitch out and see how this comes out guys alright making sure we have nothing underneath there and just watch it stitch out once again guys if you haven't purchased your brother se 600 yet use my amazon link down in the description below to purchase your se 600 it helps the channel out a lot and this video is for everybody who wanted to see me stitch a design directly on to a shirt using the brother se 600 sewing and embroidery machine and if you like what you're seeing so far give this video a thumbs up now guys this is not a commercial-grade machine so you're not gonna get like commercial grade results but for the price of the machine I think you will get pretty good results once you experiment and you do and you have the proper settings that you want as you guys can see right now because I have my backing on it's giving the material like a solid type of it's not letting it flex a lot it's not allowing it to flex a lot and that's what's creating the making it not want to pucker and stuff like that you know so look I mean you got no pulling no pinching nothing like that so far and every design is not going to be the same guys because a lot of time to design what it starts at the start at the beginning you can't turn a crappy digitized design into into a beautiful work of art stitched out on a shirt it starts with a digitization if it's digitized right and you're gonna be able to do this if it's not digitized right there you go you're not probably won't be able to do it alright so got to make sure you get it digitized right alright so now it's stitching out the top layer going from side to side and we're using the method where we stitch out in one direction and then it's going to cross stitch over top of this in another direction to fill it in so that we have a nice solid structure a nice solid background on the shirt without any white peeking through or with as little as possible white peeking through so I'm just gonna let this stitch out guys and if it's your first time here once again subscribe to the channel you never know what you might learn give this video a thumbs up I greatly appreciate it it helps a channel out a lot and don't forget to visit the merch store guys leave your comments in the comment section down below like I said no puckering right now so we're just gonna keep track of this and see what happens you right back if you haven't done so already please hit that like button I greatly appreciate it thank you still rolling still rocking and rolling moving and grooving little puckering no pulling on the design so far so let's keep our fingers crossed cause like I said all designs are not created equal all designs are not the same but if you like the way this is going and if you've learned anything in the video so far if not if if not anything you learn about about using the tension wheel right the lower the number the less tension the less tension the less pulling the less pulling the less the bobbin thread this the bobbin thread is peeking through the top as you guys just know we're using white bobbin thread and you see no white peeking through the top at all all right I know sometimes I do my my patches and you guys see the bobbin thread pulling that's because I'm just demonstrating things to you guys and we got to stop slacking on the videos and I got to do everything like everything to the tee from now on and give a better effort guys because you guys are really starting to come through and show out for me and I greatly appreciate it so much and I want to teach you guys how to do this stuff and how to do it correctly with no problems and I've gotten a lot of people obviously you guys are really interested and I know people want to not make the pack I always suggest making the patch first cutting it out and then sewing it on to the garment that's my preferred method but like I said I have done this before I've done this excuse me I started stitching directly to garment last year when I first got the Machine and played around with a lot of settings and last year when I first started doing it on the black bear tank tops for those you guys remember that one I wasn't doing this method I wasn't doing it like this so like I wasn't this good I should say so there was a little bit of covering maybe a lot of puckering in the black bear shirts but they were still selling and and still did good I'm gonna rerelease them and we're going to have them like this no puckering no pulling all right I still think it's a great tank top straight design check it out on this gun in the store and just know that if you order one you're gonna get quality like this with no car you know pulling all right Allen eweek.com help support the channel buy some channel merch if you guys want to buy some patches at a low cost head on over to the store man I don't know what's in store you can buy a memory stick with 50 designs on it my memory stick with 30 members to go to 20 whatever you need and you can buy designs for just $1 whatever you need guys all right so I'm gonna let this new stitch out finish stitching out and I'll be right back hey guys if you haven't subscribed to the channel yet please take this moment to hit the subscribe button and also hit the post notification bell so you can be notified every time I upload a new video it helps me out a whole lot more than you know it thank you alright and this part right here is just about finished up guys so as you guys can see still nice and flat on the shirt no puckering no pulling looking good on the design like that and we've seen right now it's time to switch colors we're going to switch to the black and since black is going to take seven minutes so let's switch out our thread here just gonna down below we're going to pull this up and then the thread already loosened up you see this nice and solid background there it's not super solid I can still add some more density on there but for the design and what it's doing I think this is accurate I wouldn't want to add any more density to it I think this is sufficient alright so let's add our black thread up it's up here being careful to thread it properly because sometimes when you're in a rush you tend to make mistakes so try not to make mistakes and thread it properly through here although of that just to add some tension on there to get some resistance boom right through there pull that all the way through when you're doing a shirt you kind of want to be as thorough as possible you don't want to leave any room for error because this is a shirt this is your money you paid for this shirt right so the more you mess up one the less profit so you want to make sure that you are dotting your T's and crossing your eyes when it comes to loading up the machine just little stuff you know and let's see once again if we see any white thread peeking through because this is an important part of the design the black border and as of right now I can honestly say that the threads are meeting right where they need to meet right in between I don't see any white thread peeking through let's cross our fingers and hope that remains true to the whole design and if you like what you're seeing right now guys stitching directly onto a shirt give this video a thumbs up for the YouTube algorithm I greatly greatly appreciate it and subscribe to the channel because I might just you know I might just go nuts with this new segment and just start doing t-shirts just doing crazy designs all over t-shirts so stay tuned for that guys subscribe to the channel if you guys want to see that you know I mean we got we got enough designs in the store right now to just start going nuts Cookie Monster Big Bird I didn't I got to make some more sayings and stuff like that but just stay tuned for everything subscribe to channel guys I'm let this boarder stitch out and we'll be right back 8mm cheese as you guys can see the design is coming out great just switching over to the other to the other letter here the border is good I don't know up here is that white thread peeking through I'm not sure I'm not sure right there but we'll see when the design is done but the text is solid you don't see any white thread in the text and that's what you mainly want to make sure of so so far so good guys give this video a thumbs up give this video a thumbs up give this video a thumbs up I mean there's one thing to give you guys to salt you guys designs one thing to show you guys how to make patches but this just ties everything together a now dubnation you are capable of stitching directly to a t-shirt just gonna take a little bit of practice but now you're capable of stitching directly onto a t-shirt so there's no reason there's no reason you have designs you purchase your se 600 using my link you got plenty of designs on the website get some t-shirts no reason why you guys can't go make some extra money right now on the side you know research find out where to get the software from if you want to make your own designs but I'm making them for you if you want your design digitized if it's a nice simple design I can digitize it for you any dub productions at gmail.com send me a picture your design with a little short message you know and then I'll digitize that design for you for a small fee and you guys can stitch it directly to the t-shirt guys no excuses right now you got time on your hands pull the 19 poppin off you know I mean start making some extra money or start planning making your plans and preparation for this stuff to be over and have your business in full swing alright direct-to-garment look at this thing look look looking good right yeah so now it's time to switch put in a white thread I know I'm using that term director garment very loosely how do I know it means like it really is for those machines that print direct-to-garment but hey this is direct-to-garment also so you know I could use it for this also all right just direct the garment no thumbs up if this direct-to-garment in a comment section down below is this director garment I think it is it's going direct to garment right I'm not making a patch and then sewing it on embroidering it directly to the garment so this also is D T G embroidery DTG embroidery all right let's just start a whole segment give this video a thumbs up if you want me to start a whole segment where I just do DTG embroidery you know I can start that DTG embroidery what do you guys think dt d embroidery let me know in the comments down below if you want if you want to see more videos like this d TG embroidery I can do this from now on up bobbin thread is almost empty so now you guys gonna get a taste of what it's like you already know that you can do this you can change the bobbin thread with a patch but is it possible to change it and still not have a mistake while you're doing it DTG what do you guys think I know what I think watch to the side alright no different cheat it no different same thing nothing changed make sure that's clear enough is down there nothing changed no different still loading this up carefully to make sure you do it in place carefully because if you don't do this right you'll screw it up boom lined it up everything's fine replace the door one time I was embroidering and I forgot to put the door back on still embroidered fYI for your information still embroidered fine without the door on all right let us down flat bring the access material underneath you can just raise it up it'll give it a little bit extra a little bit extra here as long as it down flat the embroidery hoop will slide right under see put it back in there make sure none your material went underneath and guess what dubnation guess what let's see well you guys think is it good is it good you tell me is it good looks good to me looks good to me I know I know you see a little tail right there we'll clip that off that's not a problem looks good to me comments down below it look good yeah there we go guys look at that look at that directly on to the t-shirt directly on to the t-shirt make clothes for your daughter make clothes for your son make clothes for yourself save money use my Amazon link below purchase your brother at c600 using my link go to my website on a wacom buy all of my embroidery designs stitch them on the shirts you got yourself a business every time I upload a new design buy it buy it because that's going to add to your catalog of stuff to sell alright have a little book have a little book with all my designs in there you know have the customers come in or have people pick you want this on your shirt you want that on your shirt have them pick and make their shirts form right just saying man you guys want to make money or you guys want to play around you guys want to talk to you guys want to dance you want to talk to dance do you want to talk to dance so damn fine how to make chance okay I want to talk a dance what you wanted to we could talk about it all day listen action you need action to get paid alright investing yourself investing your business se6 is doing it I got to be honest with you guys this machine in my opinion and what it's capable of doing it's not a professional machine it can't do everything but for what it can do I honestly think and I'm gonna say this and grab yours before brother hears this brothers hear this I think this machine is underpriced III I'm going to say as far I'm gonna I think this machine does embroidery machine is underpriced guys I mean it's not that durable as a matter of fact we're to have a plastic body it is very durable you know it's very durable but I'm saying it from the perspective of what it's capable of doing for what it's capable of doing I think this machine is underpriced and I think this machine can do a lot has a lot of functionality can sew it can embroider it can stitch directly to garment and the big problem is people don't know how to use the machine if you can operate the machine if you can get the machine to do what you needed to do then you'll get results like this it just takes a little bit of practice a little bit of time and the machine will do what you want it to do all right you got to know the settings know how to put it in no I would wear out a threaded all that stuff the intricacies of the machine and you will get results like this every single time guys I'm telling you well you think I've been making videos on this like all the time it's a good machine and look what I'm look what I've done look what I've done design is just about finished out and we are going to pull out our design and see what we got on the screen it says that we're done we're finished and boy during press okay ready to stitch out another one take it out see what we got guys swipe one to release that just take it out all right now check it out guys this is on a t-shirt all right on a t-shirt all right obviously we're gonna make the right cuts should have cut this off beforehand before I touched off the red part let me see if I could pull it through sometimes you can pull it through gotta make sure you grab only the thread you want to pull through though cuz I grabbed a little piece of new threat so so already I messed that up alright so pull that through clip that mess that top part up right there so don't throw a mine that I did that house so obviously you're gonna clip all these clip all these alright clip all this and then after we clip it we're gonna loosen up from the hoop and we're gonna see if it shrivels back sometimes if you hoop it too tight which I know I didn't if you hoop it too tight and if you pull too much on the like on the edges when you're hooping it it's gonna pull the material and when you undo pit you're gonna notice all the that's why you want to hoop it just right you're gonna notice all its gonna spring back it's gonna pop back like a rubberband and you're gonna have a lot of a lot of puckering alright but I don't think I did that there and this does not in this case I just laid the hoop down on it I'm just trying to get this one little piece right here without getting that blue thread and this is the problem with um with stitching it out loose because you're trying to get these little threads I might have to get this off-camera take my time get it off camera there you go boom got it guys on a shirt looking good just messed up right there when I pulled that but I'll just Chum that looking good guys now let me loosen it up let's see what it looks like once we take it off nice and smooth no part right look at us alright look at that I see it I see it well I see what you're talking about see what you I see what saying you saying hey dub is pulling a little bit it's pulling a little bit here and there I mean guys we already know it's not gonna be perfect because it's not a high-end machine but look at the results we got look at the results we got and what you're gonna do is now you're gonna come underneath here pull that right there grab your scissors you're just gonna cut it cut it straight across make sure you don't cut the shirt though all right I'm gonna cut it straight across the tax should be turned up the light a little bit see the edges just gonna cutter straight across like that come on this side repeat it on the side cut on this side don't have to be perfect you know I'm gonna side it right back looks good looks official looks like an embroidery and embroidery right on the front very very minimal if any pull guys what are you talking about here very very minimal if any pool well that's it a little bit of a little bitter a little bit nothing serious all right so that's about it guys let me know if you like this video let me know if you think I did good got the dubnation on the t-shirt looking Sophia let me turn down its light a little bit so you guys see it better I want turn off yeah so okay on a t-shirt looks good DTG direct the garment embroidering on a t-shirt write down hood and I forgot to clip the black right here but that's okay looks good
