How To Edit Like Ali Abdaal In CapCut PC (Tutorial)

all right guys check this out Alice edit and my [Music] edit in today's tutorial I'm going to show you how to edit shorts like Ali abdal in capcut PC let's get started let's drag and drop our Ro clip on a timeline and I will be providing you guys with the whole asset pack that I used in this tutorial so you can practice yourself zoom in a little and now let's do some basic Cuts position your play head right here on the third second select the RO clip and just hit command or control B now let's move on on the 6th second and do the same and finally go on the 11th second and do the same select all four Clips right click on them and hit extract audio click on the first clip and just copy and paste it drag it to the beginning go on the right side of the software click remove background if you don't see remove background you may have the older version of capcut where it says cut out click on that scroll down and click Alo removal position your play head at the beginning of the video and drag and drop our background on the timeline use the onscreen control to rotate it and once again use the onc screen controls to scale it up go under the basic Tab and put in 180 scroll scroll down and put it on the first layer click on our background go on the right side of the software click this little arrows click adjustment scroll down just a little and put temperature to -20 saturation to - 10 exposure to Min - 10 contrast to minus 50 and highlights to minus 50 click back on a video tab go under tab called mask we are going to use the horizontal mask use this on screen control to rotate it use this little line and just drag it to somewhere like this click on this line that's visible on screen and just drag it up go under the right side where it says animation scroll down where you see fading right here just click on that and leave it at 0.5 seconds seconds go on the left side of the software under the media panel and drag and drop this thumbnail on that timeline once again go back to the mask Tab and now we're going to use the rectangle mask use this onscreen control to scale it and drag it to the Border or the frame of the video and just curve the corners to somewhere like this click the basic tab go under video and scale it down to 7 20% position it right here drag the play head to the beginning of the video add a key frame now position your play head at the end of the fade in animation of our background and add another key frame then use this little arrow to quickly jump on the first frame and just drag it up now we just need to fix the layers so scroll down and put it on the second layer click on the second key frame and hit X on the keyboard click on this little arrow click the second key frame click this little graph and pick this animation is out three perfect and once again to close it h hit X again go under a tab called effects click video effects I have it under favorites but you need to search it up look for play Pendulum drag and drop it on the timel line Drag The Twist to zero leave the strength at five sharpen at 50 and speed at 50 position your play head on the on the second second of the video right here click under the video Tab and add a key frame on transform now count 20 frames forward right here and add another key frame on transform click on me and slide it down click on this this second key frame once again hit X zoom in a little click on y click on this little arrow click on the second key frame once again click on this graph and we're going to use is out three close that and hit X again click on the first key frame click on our thumbnail and add another key frame on transform now click on this second key frame and add another key frame frame on transform slide it down to somewhere like this and scale it up to 75% click on the second key frame hit X again click on this little graph and we are going to use e out three one more time and hit X again now we just need to adjust the key frames click on the first key frame and count five frames backwards 1 2 3 4 5 and drag this key frame frame right there and do the same for the second key frame click on the clip with the removed background go on the right side of the software scroll down where you see motion blow and just check the box and now let's wait till the processing is done position your play head at the first key frame click on our background go under the tab called mask and add a key frame on position and feather now click on the second key key frame and add another key frame on feather and position and under Feathering just drag it to zero position your play head at this second key frame go under the tab called text and drag and drop the default text on the timeline delete the default text and type in how to make this Mr Bast edit on cap cut PC now copy and paste this text one time delete this and type in 23,000 do 069 views then go a couple spaces forward add a dot in between and type in two weeks ago that's perfect make it a little bit smaller so it will align with the upper text unbold it select both texts and just extend them to somewhere like this right click on the B text and create compound clip go under the basic Tab and put it on the second layer because we want it to go behind the thumbnail and as you can see it's a little bit bigger than the actual thumbnail so we need to scale it down just a little position your play head at the beginning of this text add a key frame now count 20 frames forward and add another key frame put it right here and scale it up back to 100 click on the second key frame hit X on the keyboard hit ifs on this little drop down hit click on the second key frame and choose e out three that's perfect as you can see now we need to fix the layers once again so scroll down under the basic Tab and put this on third layer count once again 20 frames forward scroll up and add add another key frame on transform position your play it on this first key frame and at Key frame onr form as well on our thumbnail and now click on the second key frame and just scale it up like this and replicate the same for the text scale it up and slide it down click on the first key frame go under the media tab and drag and drop this little underline on the timeline position it like this click on the first key frame add a key frame on transform click on the second key frame and add another key frame on transform position it just like this go under the tab called mask we are going to use horizontal mask click on the first key frame use the on screen control to rotate it adjust the feather ring Just a Little by sliding this onscreen control or you can just type it in right here let's leave it at five add the keep frame on position slide it right here now click on the second key frame and just slide it right here now we have something like this pretty cool position your play head on the fourth set second just right here and add another key frame on transform count 20 frames forward now let's replicate this for all three Clips just add the key frame on trans Forum click on the second key frame remember this number and just slide it down fix the number now click on the second key frame for the text and slide it down down to somewhere like this and let's do the same for our thumbnail click on the first key frame go under the text tab drag and drop the default text on the timeline and type in and don't forget the dollar sign change the font scale it up to somewhere like this it should be perfect change the color to this green one here you have the hex number Bol it up scroll down where you see Shadow check the box we are going to use this black shadow adjust the blurriness to 50% opacity to 50% and leave the distance at zero and let's fix the angles now let's make this count up animation it's super easy first zoom in zoom in a lot and move two frames forward just count one two and split the text one two click on the first text and just change it delete this N9 to one and this zero and delete the seven now we have to successfully made this count up animation take a look now let's zoom out select all of these clips and just hit C on the keyboard or you can right click and create compound clip from here slide this text to right here once again we need to fix the layers put this on the third layer go back to the media panel and drag and drop these dots adjust it to somewhere like this click on the mask we are going to use horizontal mask and slide it to somewhere like this adjust the Feathering Just a Little by then just make sure that these dots don't go further down than the actual thumbnail and he create compound clip so just hit C on the keyboard put it on the third layer once again we are going to go back once again to mask we going to use horizontal mask use the onscreen control to rotate it adjust the Feathering and slide it right here position your play head at the beginning and add a key frame on position now go on the second key frame and add another key frame on position just by dragging this click on this second key frame and drag and drop this green line adjust it just a little to somewhere like this this should be good drag and drop and put it on the third layer go under a tab called mask we're going to use horizontal mask once again adjust the Feathering just a little add the key frame on position coms 20 frames forward and just drag it to somewhere like this make sure to rewatch the video sometimes because you will need to fix the layers so let's watch it right now and as you can see these numbers are not okay this background is not okay so let's fix that put that on the third layer or even best second layer this would be even better put this little text on the fourth layer like this and this is perfect now position your playhead add this second cut and just hit command B on our thumbnail and let's drag and drop our Ro clip on a timeline put it somewhere like this delete this first part and just drag it to right here scale it up position your play head right here split it and split it here one more time fix the positioning to right here and fix the positioning to somewhere like this this should be good go back to the effect step and drag and drop this dot silicon effect on this clip drag the color to zero filters to zero size to five and texture to five and replicate this for the second clip size to zero I mean size to five and texture to five let's do the same for this clip color filters size and texture select all three Clips go under the tap adjustments and just drag the saturation to minus 25 go under the transitions go to camera transitions scroll down and look for the transition called up drag and drop it on the timeline and next drag and drop the transition called right drag and drop this on the timeline position your play head right here on the second cut hit click on the r and hit command B now just copy and paste this clip one time click remove background or if you're on the older version of the cap cut cut out move back around scroll down out to removal let's wait till the processing is done now go under back to the basic tab add a key frame on transform ENC count 20 frames forward use this little arrow to quickly jump on the first key frame and just drag it down click on the second key frame click here and count 20 frames forward 1 2 3 4 5 6 15 for 20 and hit command B click on this video go under the tab called animation on the right side of the software click out scroll down and look for fade out like this and leave the duration at 0. 5 Seconds now position your playit right here select the clips hit command B and delete the leftover Parts click on the second key frame hit X zoom in a little click here you click on this little arrow that will show you key frame graphs click on the second key frame click on this graph and click is out that's perfect and to close it just hit X on the keyboard again click on our numbers dag the play head over go under the tab called effects on the left side of the software under video effects look for the effect called rebound swing and drag and drop it on the timeline leave the strength at zero size at 30 and speed at 20 the first part is done now let's add some music and sound effects alal keeps this pretty simple so we are not going to overdo it go back to the import Tab and just drag and drop this music on the timeline like so use the on screen control to crop it where the music actually starts select the audio clips and increase the volume to 20 DB and decrease the volume of Our Song to Minus 5 DB go on the left side of the software click audio sound effects and look for the effect called Deep wash I have it in my favorites if you don't have it just search it up in the search bar use the onscreen control to crop it somewhere like this and just increase the volume for five DB position your playet right here at the beginning of our underline animation Back to the import Tab and dve and drop this pencil writing sound effect use the onscreen control to crop it where it actually starts and crop it where the underlying animation ends decrease the volume to Minus 5 DB now let's look where our numbers start to pop in right here and drag and drop the digital counting sound effect on the timeline crop it where it actually starts and now just copy and paste it one time position your playhead right here when I when I start to pop pop up and just copy and paste this de push Effect one time go till the end of the video and just delete the leftover music because we don't need it now you are probably asking yourself Martin how are we going to do Al Abal captions in gap cat if we would like to create them in capcut it would take us around 2 hours to create captions for just this 15sec clip so I went on the internet and searched for the alternative but first we need to export our video on the top right corner of the SC cut hit export now we need to select our cover in our case I would like it to be right here I like this cover click edit and click save and just hit export so now let me show you what I found with this tool you will
