How To Draw The Grim Reaper Cute Cartoon

hey our friends halloween is coming up so we thought it would be fun to draw the grim reaper a cute grim reaper yeah a cute version we hope you're going to follow along you need your drawing supplies we're going to use markers and also some paper and something to go ready to draw yeah we're going to draw our grim reaper with a skeleton head we're going to draw a cartoon version we're going to draw an upside down v for the nose right in the middle of our paper and then let's draw a curve underneath to complete the triangle and let's color in that shape now let's draw the eyes and we're going to draw kind of angry eyes we're going to draw a u-shape for the left eye and another u-shape for the right eye and then up here at the top let's draw an eyebrow that comes across and goes past and then we're going to draw a little curve up and then let's do the same thing on the right side come across and then up let's make the eyes look more 3d i'm going to draw a little curve inside that comes down and then connects down at the bottom and we could do the same thing over here on the right side oh i like that you added it over there too oh that no that's awesome now let's color in the inside of the skeleton eyes that part we sped up so remember to pause the video and take extra time to color in your eyes all right now let's draw the outside shape of the skeleton head or a grim reaper's head i'm going to draw a line that comes down and then we're going to curve underneath the eye and we'll do the same thing on the right side curve down and underneath the eye these are the cheekbones let's draw those cheek lines or the the cheekbones coming in a little further underneath the eyes and then let's draw the teeth i'm going to draw u shapes like this going all the way over to the right side you could also add eyelashes to your eyes if you wanted now it looks even cuter now let's draw our grim reaper's hood we're going to start in the middle of the skeleton head we can start right here directly above the nose we're going to add a point if we want to and i'm going to draw a curve that comes over it connects to the cheek where the top of the cheek and then we're gonna connect back into the teeth so come out curve back in into the teeth then let's do the same thing on the right side we're gonna curve out around and then connect into the t nice now let's draw the outside shape of the hood we'll start here and we're going to follow the line around and let's stop about halfway up and we can do the same thing on the right side come up and stop there now let's draw the top of the hood we're going to start we're going to curve up like this and i'm going to curve around into a little swirly line up at the top well i like how tall you made it then we're going to draw the other side of the hat coming up to the same spot up here and then we can curve around and swirl into the end of the hat yes well that looks so awesome now let's draw the body we're going to draw two lines coming down on each side and towards the bottom i made them come out a little wider and then we can draw a line to connect over to the other side oh before we do that let's add we could add a couple upside down v's maybe his cloak is kind of torn yeah we're a couple i like that okay now let's draw the arms i'm gonna draw one arm coming out to the left and then let's draw a short line coming down then let's draw a line that comes back up to his armpit or her armpit now let's draw the hand i'm just going to keep it really simple we're going to draw a sideways u or c shape maybe this side he could be holding fire purple fire right let's draw the thumb and then right here let's draw a curve coming up and then we're going to curve back down for the fingers that's one big finger let's add two more lines inside so you can see the figures now let's add fire he's hanging on to some fire we're going to draw a little s curve coming out so curve one way and then curve back the other way and then a little zigzag coming back in and back up we'll go up a little higher and then we can draw another curve coming down and connecting into his hand oh i like that you added extra flames that looks really cool i wish i did that okay now let's draw the other arm we're gonna have it coming out to the other side so we can draw the same curve but on the right side short line down and then draw the bottom of the arm coming back up oh we could make this look more 3d let's draw the other side of his sleeve coming up and connecting to the hand yeah we'll color it in and add red right there maybe the inside of his cloak is red and the outside is black yeah okay now let's draw his other hand over here we're going to do the same thing that we did on this side except backwards c i drew a little bigger this one is going to have a fist so let's draw a thumb coming down like this then we can draw a curve for the rest of the fingers and then we're going to draw two lines inside one two now let's draw the scythe we're going to draw a stick coming out of his hand and then a line matching so we're going to imagine that going through his hand and coming out the bottom then we're going to add the blade up at the top we'll draw a curve that comes out and down then we can start at the end and we're going to add a point and then curve back in but it gets thicker towards the handle we did it hadley we finished drawing the grim reaper a cute grim reaper yes we're not completely done though we still need to color it yeah this part will fast forward but at the end you can pause the video to match our same coloring you ready to fast forward yes hadley we did it we finished drawing and coloring our grim reaper yours turned out super cute thank you i like yours too oh thanks now you guys can pause the video right now to match our same coloring or you could color anywhere you want we also used markers but you could use whatever you have at home or in your classroom you can use colored pencils or crayons or oil pastels if you have the same biannual set that we have we use cg03 as the gray for the scythe and also the shading on the skeleton head we used our black
