hey art friends today we're drawing another pokemon meowth all right dude you got your marker yeah nope yeah we hope you're gonna follow along with us you have something to draw with and some paper in front of you you ready to start yeah so we've got our sharpies you don't have to use a sharpie if you don't want to you can use a pencil you could use a crayon or you could use whatever you feel comfortable with a marker a marker and we have two sheets of paper we always use two sheets of paper when we're drawing with our sharpies so that the marker doesn't bleed through the one sheet of paper and onto the table all right and we also got our colored pencils we're gonna use blue a light yellow brown and a gold color let's put that off to the side we're going to start by drawing a little cookie on his forehead okay i don't know what it is but it's a gold ambulance a gold ambulance okay all right we're going to draw two we're going to draw two uh straight lines up and down in the middle of our paper but towards the top of our page good and then at the top we're going to connect with a u-shape upside down u-shape and then the bottom we're going to do the same thing connect there we go now he has a little design inside of here he has four lines so we put two up here towards the top and two down out here at the bottom now we're gonna draw his eyes we're going to start right here by drawing two points right next to each other right below yeah right below the cookie okay those are his eyes nope they're a little bit bigger okay we're going to draw a big rainbow line that goes over starts from one side from the point and goes over here and then we're going to do the same thing over here since he's symmetrical and we want these to look the same we want his eyes to look the same good now on the bottom let's connect the bottom with a u-shape good and then we'll do the same thing over here on this side now right in the middle where those dots were let's make them a little bit bigger right in the corner of his eyes good now let's draw the inside of his eyes and they're a really tall oval and skinny really tall and skinny and then i'm going to draw one on this side too now it's starting to look like him yes and then right in the middle we're going to draw a diagonal line on both eyes all right now let's draw his mouth we're going to draw a c shape right below his eye over here a small c shape and we're going to draw a backwards c shape below this eye then we're going to connect the two and go slightly up and then back down so it looks like he's smiling good and then connect it and then he's got a sharp little t so we'll draw a v right under his pupil on this eye and under his pupil on the other eye okay now we're ready to draw his head we're going to draw an oval shape that starts up here comes out of his cookie shape goes right by his eye and then it's going to come underneath underneath his smile and i'm going to pick my pin up and i'm going to come back over here and start the other side so come back around and then connect down here at the bottom keep going yeah that's a big head i like it and then on the other side good you did it man okay now for the pumpkin it does look like a pumpkin let's draw his little whiskers so he has one whisker that's sticking out at the top on this side so we'll go up and then back down ear whiskers ear whiskers and then we're going to draw that same whisker on the other side going the other direction and if we go too fast what can our friends do pause the video yes feel free if you need extra time to pause the video okay now he has two whiskers sticking out on both sides of his head so this one comes out right in the middle of his eye see how it lines up in the middle of his eyes he'll go out and then back in and then one right below that out back in good now we're going to draw those same whiskers on the other side so we draw them in the same height come out so it lines up about halfway through his eye and then the next one lines up on the bottom of his eye out back in now it's starting to look like meowth yes oh and i like it you went off the page because your head's a little bit bigger than mine and it's totally cool all right now let's draw his ears we're going to start right here we're going to draw a big a shape comes up and then it's going to come back down to his where his whisker is so we start connect from this whisker over to the other one good close to the other one yeah that's okay and then we're going to do the other ear so we'll go up and we want them to look the same so we want to go up the same height and then come back down good now inside of zero he has another a shape so we draw one up back down and then do the same thing over here on this side now if you want to keep this lesson really simple you could stop here yeah but let's draw his body okay okay we're gonna draw him with his hands his paws up by his cheeks so right here we're gonna draw a big curve that comes out good and then we're gonna curve back around it's like a backwards c shape and then inside of here we're going to draw two more backwards c shapes here's one and we're going to draw another one right next to it so he has three fingers good now let's draw that same thing on the other side so we're going to draw that curve comes out and then on this side it's going to be a c shape and you want it to look the same as this side good and then let's draw two more c shapes one two so we got his paws you ready to draw his arms yeah okay we're going to start right here and we're going to draw a v shape comes down and back up and this is his arm and it's bent this is where his elbow is going to be and we'll draw the same thing on the other side good now we're going to draw the other side of his arm we're gonna start right here down and back up good and then same thing on this side down back up good now let's have his arms come in a little further so that his body isn't as wide there we go this one can maybe come in a little further too okay now let's draw his body and we're going to draw just a big u-shape it's going to come down around and back up to his other armpit good and i like how big yours is we're gonna have to extend the bottom so that you have room for his feet okay okay let's tape some paper onto the bottom all right there we go we just got some extra paper and we taped it onto the back so that it extends down further so you have room for his feet and you guys at home if you have the same the same problem where you have a really big meowth and he's taking up too much of the paper you can extend it like that okay let's keep going okay all right we're gonna draw his two legs we're going to draw a curve that comes out like this and a curve on the other side also so we're going to draw both legs at the same time okay now we're going to draw the outside of his legs so we'll draw another curve and another curve over here cool now on this side we're going to draw a backwards c shape and then on this side we're going to draw a frontward c that's for his heel and his feet are pointing out so his toes are out we're going to draw a big sideways u-shape that comes out and back in and connects to his his heel and i could have even drawn that longer he has really long feet we'll do the same thing on the other side big sideways u shape kind of look like hot dogs yes okay now he has a pattern on his foot so let's draw backwards c and a frontward c and then let's draw his toes we're going to draw a c shape and another c shape right next to it good and then on this side we're going to draw backwards c-shape and another backwards c-shape a lot of c's yes okay what's our meowth missing his tail yeah he's missing his tail and it's a really long tail we're gonna start here we're gonna leave a little space by his hand and we're gonna curve down to his leg now the end of his tail he has a curl so we're going to come we're going to start right here come up and i'm going to overlap his fingers but you have enough room to just keep going so i'm going to imagine it going behind his fingers and it's going to curl around and create that swirl or spiral now we're going to draw the rest of his tail we're going to start here come down and into his back good job now he has a pattern and there's a little line right here on his tail and the end of his tail is brown and the rest of him is that light yellow okay we finished it man he looks really cool give me five did you have fun yeah okay now let's put our markers off to the side we got our colored pencils this part we're gonna fast forward so you guys at home can pause the video to match the coloring that we did yes you ready to fast forward yeah let's do it right now [Music] checker checkers i totally forgot we're missing some colors for his ears now we don't have this uh dark gray so we're going to use black and just put it on his ears lightly and then use white to blend it to get that dark charcoal look and then we need pink for the inside of his ears yes sorry about that all right let's keep going checkers man good job we finished coloring our meows and i love how big you drew your guy man he looks really cool and i like that we extended the paper you guys at home can pause the video to match coloring that we did what was your favorite part dude uh probably the ambulance yeah the cookies we hope you had a lot of fun drawing your mouse with us and we'll see you later our friends that's all he says isn't it no he could talk oh he can't yeah oh that's all i hear him say is meow he doesn't never says now he actually talks like a human [Music]
