hey our friends I got my buddy with me checkers what are we gonna draw today dude we're gonna draw a zombie from plants vs. zombies Oh awesome because if your marker just gonna fall along with us and get your paper we're gonna start with our paper very cold yes that's because we're gonna draw the zombie standing up with his hands down his head's gonna be really big up here with his big eyes we're gonna get this whole body in there okay so we hope hopefully hopefully we can fit them all in there we're gonna try ready okay we're going to first start with his eyes and we're gonna start with the eye on the left and it's kind of a little small but we're gonna draw the other one next to it a little bit bigger then we're going to draw the next one right next to it it's gonna be bigger and we're gonna draw that Tom okay I like how yours is this one's really small and this one's really big mine's a little bit they're a little bit closer to each other but I think yours is gonna look cooler when it's all done it's gonna be awesome okay we're good to do the little pupils you've got one pupil that's kind of stick them out this way and another pupil that's kind of pointing out the other direction all right should we do is should we do his head it's gonna go around his eyes so we're gonna first start by putting a little line that comes out at a diagonal from the small eye and we'll do the same over here just a little one all right all right like that okay now we're gonna do the top of his head and it's going to come around the top and we're just gonna go and come all the way around back down like that dude good job okay now let's draw his mouth in here first or next and we're going to draw wrestle right under the middle of the left eye we're going to draw the top of his mouth and it's going to come down like this and then down and then stop good and I had my mouth is a little bit higher but that's okay it's alright and the difference is because this eye is a lot smaller and it's up higher so if this was a little bit bigger than I would be closer to his mouth that's okay okay let's let's finish his mouth so we're gonna draw the next the bottom part of his mouth it just kind of comes out straight crossed and I drew these equal so I'm going to extend this just a little bit the top one because I should have probably stopped a little sooner okay yeah and yours can come out alright okay next step we're gonna draw is first tooth so we're gonna draw two lines that come out of the top of his mouth and they come out at an angle yes and then we're gonna connect them good and then we're gonna draw his gums so draw a little line that comes connects to his tooth and then it's gonna come back behind on the other side good now we're gonna draw another tooth coming out of that out of his gums right there and then connect that then we're gonna draw his third tooth and it's a little smaller I'll draw two lines coming out at a different angle and then connect that one thank those two yeah teenies looking disgusting okay now right here we're gonna do a little V and that's because his tooth looks a little bit different than on the bottom then we'll do two lines coming out of the V yep and then connect those and then we're gonna do the same that we kind of did up here at the top we're gonna do gums on his bottom of his mouth so lion that goes through there then you imagine it going through his tooth and then it comes out the other side oh yeah that's right okay now we're gonna draw his tongue and it looks a lot like this line the gum so who's gonna come right here and just kind of a a curved line that comes through his mouth all right cool dude now we got one more tooth over here two lines it's kind of a small one and then connect the top I think that's true okay now we've got his teeth we got his mouth in there now we're gonna connect his his face to his mouth so the this top part right here where it was coming out of his eye we're gonna bring a line down and then back into the gums you got it cool now I brought mine down a little bit further there you go yeah there you go perfect hey now we're gonna do the bottom lip okay so we're gonna draw it will come out of this tooth right here and do a little and a hook little C good okay and then we can come over here and put a little lip on the corner good job and then we're going to do is chin so we're gonna do a little line it comes out of this side it comes down and it's gonna go across the bottom and then diagonally up oh sorry we're going too fast pause me okay then we're gonna come back up and we're gonna connect up here at the top go ahead you got it dude we got the zombie face we're not quite done but he's starting to look like him huh so we got a little the back part of his mouth that we need to add in here and we'll put two lines that come through here right in between those two teeth and it makes us mix we drew the back side of his mouth or his lips back over there good dude you did it okay now let's do as nostrils what is the effort nose ovals yeah so we're gonna do one oval that's a little small and then another oval tipped the other way that's a little bit bigger starting to look more like him huh okay now we do this eyebrow and he kind of has well it's not really his eyebrows yeah it's not really a unibrow it's just kind of a wrinkle in experiment so we're gonna draw it come down and then back up like that yes okay now let's draw he's got a little wrinkled kind of on the side of his face it comes right here hello this is Omni this is one of my favorite zombies okay now he's got some hair that looks all scraggly so we're gonna do a little line curved line right there and then a longer one right next to it then we're gonna draw the lines up here his hair up here so this one's a little bit longer and they want to do another long one right next to it no one's a little more crooked let me do a little one out here all right and then a longer one and then a hair right there little one two little ones right here good I'm gonna do another little one that's kind of inside his head and then a bent one right there Oh awesome dude that totally looks like you man are you having fun yeah we did his face he's completely done we could actually stop if we wanted to but we're gonna keep going should we do this body yeah all right let's do it so we're gonna first we're gonna start with this collar and then we're gonna draw high and then we'll draw everything kind of around it and we might need to get a little smaller because we drew his head really big so he's gonna look a little bit different than plants vs. zombie but it'll work it'll still look cool we're gonna draw a little triangle right here that's coming out of the side of his head and that's where is collar then you draw it pretty small so that you can fit the rest of his body in here okay and then we're gonna draw a line that comes out of the collar I don't know why the zombie has a tie there he is dressed for work Church okay and then draw another line right here and then we're gonna connect and that's four that's first time all right now let's draw his tie that comes the part that comes down first hi and I'm not going to draw this very long because we were running out the room so we want to say so the tie comes down about halfway down his body and so that same distance is going to we're gonna need that much room down here okay all right so we're gonna close off the tie by drawing a V to connect the bottom good and then let's put some stripes on it so put two lines next to each other what colors is tie yep what kind of stripes white stripes good job all right you're ready for the rest of his his arms and his body yeah okay we're gonna draw we're gonna draw the back of his we're gonna draw his back and it's gonna be a curved line that comes down it's gonna say back of his back yeah good and we're gonna get his arm in here okay so we're gonna come up right here let's see right about here we're gonna draw a big kind of upside-down long you so right here John big upside-down u yes then we're gonna bring this colored down right here this is his suit jacket so come off the collar of his shirt and then yep and then we're gonna draw another line right here for his jacket collar good job okay now now he's got his jackets all torn up so we're gonna draw that little tear on his elbow we just draw like a sideways em good and then we can do a little tear on this side a small little V good now we're going to bring his arm down a little bit further on both sides and then we'll connect up with a contour line and then two more lines on each side this is for the end of his jacket sleeve yep and then one more contour line awesome you did it okay now let's draw his other arm on the other side of his body okay so we're gonna draw a line that comes down and we're gonna stop about the same place where we have the wrinkles over here yeah rips and stuff in his jacket so draw a line that comes down from his neck good yeah and then you can draw a little kind of M and then a straight line back down and we're gonna end this one about the same as the other the other arm okay good now we're gonna draw a little line that comes out of the bottom of his tie and this is because the tie overlaps is is sleep right so here we go we're gonna put a little wrinkle in this one oops let's go down it'll go back up good and then we'll draw two more lines on the side for the same cuff on his sleeve and then a contour line dude look at that man we're getting close it's awesome huh yeah okay now we're gonna do just a little L right there to connect his jacket into a sleeve okay all right should we do is we do this hands mm-hmm all right let's do it okay we're gonna do a little curved line coming out will do this arm this hand first and we'll do another curved line right good and then we're gonna we're going to draw the finger that comes back good ok now let's draw his other fingers okay so we're going to draw another curve going jaw you can draw a little curve after that that's for the end of his finger and it'll do another one right next to it and then a curve wait yeah so you got one more curve right there yeah and then last one and then curve it's kind of tricky huh and then we're gonna go in and then curve back up good job okay now let's put his little fingernails to just put little squares or rectangles on the ends of all of those fingers ha ha song good job dude you got his hand now should we do the other hand yeah all right so we're gonna do the kind of the same thing a little curve like this is going to be his thumb and we didn't draw his thumb on this hand because it's tucked behind so you can't see it because it's behind us there's other fingers but this one we're gonna see his thumb so don't drop finger that comes out right off the curve now we're gonna draw a curved line on the end then we're gonna come back up and then another curve there's this thumb good okay now let's do the rest of his fingers we'll do it a little curved line it comes out and then a curved line back and then back into his hand and we're gonna stop a little before it the thumb okay and then a straight line right now we're gonna do is other fingers and then another one and then one more and then we're gonna curve back in and a curve up good job okay now we can put his finger now on his thumb so do the same little rectangle up there good job dude you got his hands that's awesome all right let's finish the bottom of this jacket where you're just gonna do a curve or not a curve but a jagged line so we'll do a little line that comes out here and then jagged line that comes up down back up back down and then straight you got it let me see yes that's awesome okay now what are we missing he's Pat's yeah all right so we're gonna do is his pants over here are kind of torn and they're hanging off huh I'm kind of they're torn completely off all right so we're gonna draw a straight line here and I drew a curved line here kind of her pant leg and we're gonna draw a kind of upside-down V there's a lot of little details because he's got rips huh a straight line and then another little V upside down V and then we're gonna go back good job okay so that's his that's one pant leg then the other pant leg comes out from kind of from his his hand right here and we'll just draw it down and just a little line we're kind of running out of room huh okay checkers what did we do to our paper we don't want to start over so we we just got some more paper and we extended it so we had more room huh and our friends can do that too we just did some paper and we extended down the bottom and we taped it we put a little piece right here and we also take a little piece on the back that cool yeah all right let's keep going man okay we don't want to stop all right so we got more room now so we're gonna we're gonna keep going past the page here and we're gonna sew this little line right here that's coming out we stopped here so I don't think you've done that yet so this little curved line is going to be for his other pant leg and it comes down out of his hand good and then we're gonna do a little zigzag so we'll do out and then back in for the wrinkles on his pants and then another little out all right okay now let's get his other pant the other side of this pant leg coming out of the finger right here coming down right here out of the finger good job and I'm gonna come down a little bit further and then just have a little little hook on the end so it comes down they're about the same same length down here good job okay now let's do is his leg that you can see over here with his bony leg so those two lines that come out of the pant okay and then we're going to draw little knee on the end good and then a line that comes out of there and this is we're trying to get down to kind of the same length down here for his other leg so and then his he's got a little muscle on the back of that leg right there good job okay now we're going to draw the rest of his pant leg that's torn and it's like hanging down on his shoe so we're doing a little zigzag line little W right here okay and then sorry little W at the bottom of his leg good job okay and then we'll do a little this is just a little tear a little piece of fabric that's hanging off so it's a V V shape that connects good okay now we're gonna draw the rest that's coming down off his boots right here so these two lines should be about the same over here so it was pant legs are his legs are gonna be the same length good okay now we can put a line that comes down and then we're gonna do a little up and then down some more and this is gonna be the end of his pants and then I can just connect it good job dude you got it hey now we're gonna do his shoe let's finish the pant leg on this side over here before you do this you so we're going to put kind of the same line that's on this other side we'll go over in the negative an upside-down V and then connect it yes okay we're ready for the shoes and then we're done okay you ready yeah okay let's do this the right shoe first so do a big curved line that comes out almost all the way over it's gonna overlap this shoe over here it's a big curved line that comes over then we're going to come back to this pant leg and we're going to draw curved line here and stop so we can put a little notch in it and we do a little V these little V's we stopped the line every so often to do those little fees so that it looks like it's closed or torn or beat up okay then we're gonna draw the soul of this or the bottom part of the shoe yeah the soul so two lines one on each side good then we're gonna curve we're gonna do the bottom curve right here to finish this shoe off awesome okay now let's do this other shoe and it's overlapping so we don't have to draw as much it's a little line for his heel yeah it's gonna be pointing in the other direction got it okay now we're gonna draw a big curve line right here right here okay and then we'll draw another curved line it kind of comes this way so it looks like it's three-dimensional good and then we're gonna draw the bottom of his foot shoe and then another line that comes down and then finish the sole bottom of the shoe we're done except we need the shoelaces we do two lines right here that are contour lines so they curve and they look like the shape of the shoe and then connect them at the bottom and then you can draw two more little ones right next to it connect it got it yeah okay and then we're gonna do we're gonna do the same over here we can use that same line that we already did and then connect up then we did it we got a man look at that zombie he looks really scary I love that plants vs. zombies is so awesome now we need a color um don't you think yeah you know we could stop we could just leave it here he looks really cool but we need to tell them huh yeah for sure all right we got our past sales ready we've already picked up some of our colors huh so we're using this 50 set from Pentel arts we love these this is a it's pretty cheap this set only costs $10 and we really like this brand because they blend they blend really well and they're not too expensive and we like this set because it's got a lot of clothes in so he picked out some of our colors and we're gonna use this color we're gonna have to trade off and we're gonna speed up a lot of the coloring - so we're gonna we'll talk about what we're gonna do and then we'll speed up speed it up so that our art friends don't have to watch everything so then they can pause it they can do their part and then start it back up and watch the next step cool alright so we're gonna use this color it's it's a light green and we're gonna use it for his eyes yeah it's a it's like a pill it says pell green it's kind of a mint yeah you could say it's mint and I'm going to just color in his eyes like this really light and then I'm gonna go back over them with a white okay can you do that and then we'll speed it up while we're finishing that step good job okay the last thing I did was actually get my marker again and go back over the little pupils so that so that they show up because when you put the little pastels on top of the black sometimes it just make it makes them look white there you go darken zoom in a little bit better okay now we're gonna use this lighter green which one this one okay we're gonna use I decide we're actually I changed my arm we're gonna use this this what is this blue green it's kind of a blue thing and we're gonna do it really light over his whole head okay and if you don't have a blue green you could just use a regular green and we're gonna do it light because we're gonna add a little shading we're gonna have one more layer on top of his head so that he looks a little more 3d okay so after we do this I'll give it to you and you can do your side and we'll speed it up ready go all right k we also went down and we did this we're gonna do the same thing on his hands and his legs because they're the same color right yeah all right okay now we're gonna layer it back over with this light pale green okay and we'll speed this part up again all right you got it okay now we're gonna add the shading all right so we were going back to this darker green and I already tested it a little bit and we're gonna put this little sliver right over the top of his left eye okay and then we're going to do a little kind of sliver underneath his eye right here and this is what's gonna make his head look 3d now the next step is we're gonna do the same on this side so we'll put a little this is a shadow kind of under his eyelid okay and then we're gonna do a line up this way and then we'll do the same down here right here and then we're going to kind of do a wiggly line down and I'll walk you through these again and then we're going to color this side of his head in after we get all of that kind of painted in we're drawn in so this line right here and then this line right here and then we'll shade this side all in so the right side of his head's gonna look darker and give him that 3d look that cool then we'll do one more thing and it's down at the bottom under his lip I'm gonna put a little shadow under his lip right there okay ready to do yours yeah all right well speed it up right all right good job and then we're kind of adding the the you're adding the black lines back over now we can add some shading down on his hands and we're gonna color the his hands actually dark most of the sorry we're gonna color most of the left hand all dark we're gonna add another layer and just leave a little light on top of his thumb okay come on do that yeah good okay now on this side we're gonna do almost the opposite we're just going to put little slivers of dark green on the right side of each of the fingers so leave most of it light okay good hey now on his on his leg we're just going to put the same thing as kind of what we did on his hand just put a dark line on the right side of his leg so it looks like the shadow is on this side of his body and he's being lit from this side good job hey now that was that was actually the hard part of the whole thing is just doing his skin so now let's do his mouth okay so we're gonna use pink and you could get a one of these other Pink's maybe one of those and then we're just gonna do his his tongue pink and we're gonna do his gums and then we're going to color his teeth next we got his gums pink well that's actually a really good color I like that one that was probably a better choice than the one I chose this one's a little too pink okay now I sexually let's do hit the inside of his mouth you could get a brown a dark brown and we're gonna do everything except for the teeth and his gums colored in all brown you can press press heavy on the oil pastels so it goes on dark good job okay now I'm going to get this light or the pail Green again and or you could use the yellow same color that you use for his eyes probably choose the same color you can use that piece since it broke off and we're going to do is teeth good okay now grab some red we're gonna do is tie next okay and this time is really easy we're gonna speed this up but we're just going to do everything except for the white stripes okay okay good okay now grab grab a dark brown and we're gonna color in his whole jacket and we're also gonna color in his shoes down here okay alright ready to speed it up let's do it again right cool alright you got it man okay now we're gonna use a peach and we do it we're doing the shading on his jacket a little bit different it's a different technique than what we did on his face so on the face we did it light and then we put a dark shadow this time we did it dark and we're gonna put a light on top and so you have to cut experiment to find the right the right one to put on top and we're gonna I'm gonna use this peach and yeah I think that i think that one over work we can test it and we're going to put a light kind of edge on this side of his jacket right here okay and then I'm gonna put it down on the collar right here so it puts a little highlight on his jacket and the also the different we're using kind of a different a different type of shading on this zombie it's it's very very crisp so we're not blending it you know we don't go from a dark to a light to a lighter and lighter and lighter as it goes across there's a really hard edge right there and it's just a different style of shading okay now let's do an another layer over here on this side of his jacket on this what is this call it sleeve his other arm and put just kind of the same thing we're just layering it on top so it looks like there's light being cast on his body and giving him 3d three dimension cool yeah that's working actually really well yeah okay then we can put little lines over here so it looks wrinkly back here on the backside okay now let's do it on the top of his shoe right here we're gonna put a little light on top of this shoe don't do the same over here and if our art prints are using colored pencils this is going to be a little bit harder you probably want to do the technique that we did over here so they would do a lighter brown and then build up the darker brown on the jacket all right okay ready for his pants let's do blue we're gonna get a dark blue and then just color in solid and we're gonna do the same that we did on his jacket we're gonna add a light blue on top for the highlights just speed it up you got it yeah okay now I got a really light blue and we're gonna do the same that we did on this jacket we're gonna layer it and you could even use a white if you want yeah that would probably work too it's a you just want a lighter color and then we're going to layer a little edge on the left side of his pants and then I'm gonna come up here and I'm going to put a little patch right here I might even get white get it a little brighter okay and then I'm going to do a little edge on this side on this left side down here too I know I'm going fast but our friends can pause it if they need to and then I'm this little triangle that we drew over here that lays over color that one so it looks like there's light catching hey let's get some orange and we're gonna finish up his shoelaces dude that was so awesome look at your zombie man you could be really proud of that guy huh yeah did you have fun hope you guys have fun drawing your zombie with us and remember if you guys ever run out of room on your paper you can always attach extra paper like we did huh and then you can keep
