How To Draw A Smart Cookie

hey our friends today we're gonna try cookie a smart cookie yeah we hope you're gonna follow along with us you're a smart cookie you need your drawing supplies we're gonna use a marker you also need some paper and something to color yeah you ready to start yeah let's first draw the eyes we're going to draw two circles i'm going to draw it about this size for one and i'm going to leave a little space and i'm going to draw another circle the same size over here for the other eye next we can draw a small little oval or circle in the top left and one over here too for the highlight then let's color in the big circle but leave the little circle white now we're ready to add our glasses to make our smart cookie we're going to start right here we're going to draw a big circle that goes around the eyes so i'm going to start here go around like that really big glasses there you go you can come around i like how big you drew your glasses okay and then we're going to draw that same size circle over here i wish i drew my glasses as big as yours okay now i'm going to draw the same size as i drew over here so i'm going to come up to the same height around and then connect where i started is same i think that's a little bit smaller it's a little bit that's okay no they're about the same size okay now let's draw the nose piece in between the two lenses we're going to draw a little curve in between we can draw the mouth i'm going to draw a little mouth like that now we're ready to draw the shape of our cookie now you could draw your cookie really big if you want or you could draw it kind of small i'm going to draw about this size so i'm going to start here and i'm going to draw a bumpy line that comes around my glasses now if you didn't want to draw a cookie whoa there's an extra bump over here yeah there you go oh i like the size of your cookie your glasses are really big now that's awesome i love it that is so cool and i love that her two drawings don't look exactly the same and it's okay if their drawings look different too because the most important thing to have fun and to practice practice i'm sure your drawings are turning out really cool now what should we add to our cookie chocolate chips yeah let's do it now you could add even other things to like m m's i'm just going to draw little chocolate chunks like this and i'm going to mix them up like twist these these could be just chunks but you could draw chocolate chips which are round i'm going to do little squares well these now i'm getting hungry anytime you need extra time or if you want to change your drawings and add different things you can always pause the video and take extra time to finish a step i really like your chocolate chips austin thank you okay now let's add a bow you could add a bow tie down here on the neck i'm going to change mine into a girl cookie i'm going to first add little eyelashes right here and for the bow down here you can repeat the same steps i'm doing but change it so i'm going to do this upside down you but you could do a regular you down here at the bottom for a bow tie around your smart cookie's neck yeah there you go then we're going to draw a diagonal line that comes up on mine but you could come down i'm going to draw another diagonal line on the other side going the same direction okay now i'm going to draw the end of the bow coming into the cookie you could draw up yeah and then i'm going to do the same thing on the right side we could also add a little loop on the inside of each bow if you want to or you could leave it off next i'm going to add a little extra detail on my glasses you could leave this off because your glasses are bigger so i'm going to add a oh that was the other thing i did is i made my glasses thicker when we were adding the chocolate chips but i'm going to add a little earpiece even though my cookie doesn't have ears but your see how your glasses are bigger and they go off the side of your cookies so you could leave this off if you want so we've got the little ear pieces going over the ears let's add one more thing to our smart cookie let's add a pencil you know sometimes people put their pencils right here oh don't draw on yourself we're gonna add a line right here a diagonal line coming out it looks like it's coming out from the ear you could overlap it behind the oh i like how you have a floating chocolate chip right there you could draw you could draw a diagonal line coming out from behind the glasses too i like that you have overlapping maybe a flying chocolate chip yeah and it could come out past the glasses too there you go and then i'm going to add another diagonal line right next to it and then right here at the end we're going to draw a upside down v that's for the end of the pencil and then we can draw two u-shapes in between kind of looks like a w and we could also add an extra line right down the middle for the side of the pencil and then a curve at the tip of the pencil for the lead and then you can color in the end awesome we did it we finished drawing our smart cookie except we're not completely done we need color yeah this part we're going to fast forward but at the end you guys at home could pause the video and match our same color or you could color your drawings any way you want you ready to fast forward [Music] austin yeah me five we did it we finished drawing our smart cookie yours is seriously my favorite i love the pencil and i love how big the glasses are and the flowing chocolate chips yeah that especially the floating chocolate chip you guys can pause the video to match your same coloring yeah we used our markers but you could use whatever you have at home now if you have the same set we used y911 oh nope sorry y611 for the cookie color and then we used y107 for the pencil for the peak i used r605 and you used our favorite red color r107 and we hope you had a lot of fun following along with us and drawing your own smart cookies you could add more smart cookies oh yeah that would be really cool you could draw a whole bunch of them maybe even some baby ones yeah and we'll see you later friends goodbye [Music]
