How To Draw A House Emoji 🏡

hey art friends today we're gonna draw the house emoji i hope you're gonna follow along with me you got a marker and some paper let's first start by drawing a circle down here in the bottom left of our paper and this is for the shrub that's in front of our house we're gonna draw about this size and we're drawing it pretty close to the right side of our paper so that we have room for the whole house now we're going to draw a line coming straight out of that shrub then we're going to draw a line for the bottom of our house and we're going to draw horizontal come across and stop now we're going to draw the left side of our house and we want to end at the same height as the right side of our house next we're going to draw the top of our house and we're going to draw an upside down v and we want to make sure that the point of our house is right in between or right in the middle of our house so we're going to go up and then we're going to come back down next we're gonna draw the roof so right here on the left and also on the right side we're gonna go past the side of our house and then we're gonna draw the edge of our house so another line coming back up and we're going to draw the top we're going to draw another v that goes or an upside down v that goes up and back down and connects the two sides of our roof now we're going to draw the shingles on top of our house and we're going to start up here in the middle of our house and we're going to draw a zigzag coming down so we're going to draw a short line then a line down another short line down until we get all the way to the bottom of our house and then we can end it then we're going to do the same thing on the right side we're going to come down short line another diagonal line we're just going to repeat that same zigzag line all the way down until we get to the very bottom of the roof and then we'll connect it in now let's draw the chimney on our house we're going to draw it on the left side we're going to draw a short line up and we can also draw another line i'm going to draw this slightly higher then we're going to draw another line that's the same height but it's shorter since the roof is higher then we can connect these two lines and that's the top of our chimney now because i'm drawing by myself remember you can always pause the video if you need extra time to finish a step now we're going to draw the steps and our front door so we're going to draw a short line for the front step two short lines right next to each other and then we'll connect the top that's for the first step then we're going to draw another step on top of that we'll draw two more short lines and we came in so this next step is not as wide now we're going to draw the door the front door to our house so we're going to draw two lines we're going to come like this and then we're going to draw another one and it's the same height straight down now we can connect the top of our door and then let's repeat that same shape inside and now this is for the frame of our front door so it's a little border that goes around our door so we're repeating that same rectangle shape then let's draw the window for our front door we're going to draw an l first then we're going to draw an upside down l to complete our box there's the front window now we're missing a doorknob so let's just draw a small circle now we're ready to draw the window and we're going to draw an l shape just like we did over here for this window we're going to draw a line that comes down and then we're going to come across and i touch the top of our shrub in front of our house now we're going to draw an upside down l to complete the window there we go now we've got a square let's repeat that same shape inside so that we have a frame around our windows so i'm going to first draw the l inside then we'll draw an upside down l to complete the box there's also a window on the side of the house so let's draw a short line that comes out at the top and also the bottom then let's connect those two lines there we go that's the window that's on the side of the house now the only thing we're missing is a tree we need to put a tree over here on the left side so let's draw the trunk first it's gonna be a line that starts right here the bottom of our roof and we're gonna draw it coming down and then right at the end we're gonna curl out then let's connect it into the into the house the side of the house now we're ready to draw the tree we're going to first draw a backwards j shape it's going to come out of the house and come up looks like a backwards j and we're going to draw another smaller u right next to it then we'll draw one more u that comes out and almost touches the side of our paper next we're going to draw the top of our tree it's going to come all the way around to the other side of our house so we're going to curve up and around and then back in and connect on the right side of our house now let's add a few more details to our tree over here we're going to draw a curved w so we're going to curve down back up and now we're going to curve down again and connect into the trunk now we're going to draw the texture that's on the tree it's going to look like leaves we're first going to draw a bunch of u's connected together and we're going to start here we're going to draw three u's and it gets really close to the chimney then we're going to draw a u that comes down and connects into the roof let's draw two more u's up here higher it looks like a w then we're gonna draw two smaller ones and then we're gonna draw a really big one that connects to our chimney let's draw a couple more up here at the top we're going to draw a small one and then a really big one then let's draw another small one and that's right above our chimney then we're going to draw two more big ones coming off of that top one and then we're gonna draw another u or backwards j that connects to the side of our tree now we're almost done let's draw another u up here at the very top and we can also draw two small ones over here on the left side now we're going to add another smaller one coming out of the right side of our chimney so a little one up and then a really small one connected to it on the actual emoji there's a lot more of these used but i'm going to leave it just like this to keep this lesson a little easier let's add some of that same texture down here on our shrub though we're going to add one going right across the middle we're going to add a small u big u then add a little one and then let's do another big one and then a small one to connect the end now also remember that you don't have to draw this texture the same way that i'm doing it you can just use your imagination draw a bunch of views to fill in the space i'm going to add a few more u's underneath this first row and i'm going to do another couple up here on the top i'm going to add another big one and two small ones now i'm also going to draw a curve that comes up a big one and then a draw a big curve coming back down in between these two i'm gonna draw one more little one all right we did it we finished drawing our house we have a tree and a cool little shrub on the front now we still need to color this drawing it's gonna look so much better colored in now this part i'm gonna fast forward but at the end you can pause it again to match the same color i hope you're going to take the time to finish your drawings by coloring them in it looks so much better with color now if you want to color it just like me you can pause the video to match the same color i'm sure your drawings turned out so cool and remember it's okay if your drawings don't look exactly like mine because the most important thing is to have
