hey our friends we're gonna draw a dot today yeah we're gonna draw a dachshund they're one of those really long dogs and super short you ready to start yes we hope you're gonna follow along with us you got a marker something to draw with and some paper we're first gonna start by drawing his eye so we're gonna start we're going to draw a circle and we also have the paper horizontal or landscape and that's so we can fit them on yeah now we're going to draw a small circle in the top right and then also a smaller circle down here in the bottom left and then let's color in the big circle next we're going to draw his nose we're going to start right next to his eye and we're going to draw a sideways u-shape kind of a v too it's a little pointed good now that could be his mouth when we're all done now let's draw his nose so we're gonna draw a little backwards c-shape oh there you go connected in perfect now let's draw those little nostrils we'll draw two circles or two ovals inside good kind of looks like a pig yeah it's okay once we color it black it'll look more like a dog nose next we're gonna draw his forehead and it's gonna go over the top of his eye and turn into the top of his head like that [Laughter] good now let's kind of now we're going to draw his ear and it's floppy so we're going to start by drawing a line that comes down like this and then back up almost like the side of his note like his nose but we're drawing it yes rotate it now let's draw the top of his ear i'm going to draw this a little closer to the top of his head and we're going to draw his ear it's going to curve like this come back down and then connect and it was a little tricky so you guys can pause it if you need more time to finish that step but you go up down and then curve back in just like that now let's make them 3d so let's draw a second ear over here by his forehead okay now let's draw his the bottom of his nose let's draw it a little further underneath his eye okay now let's draw his chest so we're gonna start right here we're gonna curve down and then we're gonna curve back for the rest of his chest good now let's draw his front legs so let's draw the front of his leg first and we want to draw it short because they have short little legs yeah and then we're going to draw the back of his leg like this and then this one's going to come down further see how this one's longer okay now we're going gonna draw his paw so let's draw a little curve that connects and curves down yes and then we'll connect the bottom into the back of his leg okay now let's add two little toe lines on the end of his foot now let's make him 3d we're going to draw his second front leg so we'll draw a little line now i drew my front leg a little closer to his other leg so you could draw another line right here that comes down and connects to his paw yes that way he doesn't have one really big leg and one really small leg so we want to make sure that they're the same width okay so now we're going to draw his his palette curves connects and comes down and then we'll connect it to his other foot all right that looks really good now we're going to add those two little toe lines we did it we finished his front legs yeah now we're going to draw his body so we're imagining his chest line coming down here connecting to his front leg and then we're going to imagine it going behind his leg and then coming out to make his body on the back he's really long good now let's draw the top of his body so we start right here on his ear and we're going to draw his little neck coming down just a small little line and then we're going to draw his back and it's going to curve like this and then come around oh it's tricky [Laughter] i love these dogs they're so they're so much fun to drop now we're going to draw the rest of his back legs so let's draw this curve it's going to curve down okay then we're going to draw a little curve that comes out the back okay now let's draw the front of this leg and we're going to draw it really short so that his bottom legs aren't further down on the page than his front legs okay okay we want them to be equal we want them to be the same height on here so we're going to draw a little line for the front of his leg and then this one on the back we want to curve down and we want it to end the same spot as the front and that's okay yours is a little further down that's fine and then we're going to draw his paw next so we're going to curve up connect and then back down and then we're going to connect the bottom to the back of his leg did you already do it okay okay we're going to draw his second back leg so let's draw a little curve that matches this front one then we're gonna draw that short line that we drew right here and then we'll draw his paw that comes down good and then we'll connect the bottom into his back leg and we forgot the two toe lines right yeah so let's draw those on each foot there's two little lines there two little lines right here okay we're missing one thing what are we missing pistol his tail let's draw a curve that comes up and then we're gonna curve back down there's a little dachshund tail okay we finished our dachshunds they look awesome and i love that they look a little bit different yeah that's okay right because the most important thing is yes have fun now we still need to do one last thing what is it color yeah they're gonna look so much better once we color you ready yeah down to three let's do it one two three good job dude you colored yours brown i like it yeah and i colored mine black and brown yeah and i love that they look different did you have fun yes you promised yes we hope you have fun drawing your doctors yes we do we hope you had a lot of fun especially coloring them and we'll see you later our friends [Music]
