How to Draw a Christmas Pokeball Surprise Fold

[Music] thank you hey everyone how's it going for today's fun video I'm going to be showing you how to make a Christmas Pokeball Pikachu surprise fold so hope you follow along and enjoy this video today now to start off with our Christmas Pokeball surprise fold let's begin by folding our paper so I'm going to begin by taking my paper and I'm going to fold it in half like I'm making a birthday card then I'm going to go ahead and give it one more fold like this let's go ahead and give it one more nice fold now when you open it up you have these nice little guidelines in here to keep the inside of your drawing safe so we don't see that we have our picture all folded up now to start off with this I'm just going to trace something circular I'm going to use this little paint palette here and I'm going to go ahead and I'm going to trace right around there to make my Pokeball so I want to leave a little bit of space at the top so I'm going to move this a little bit lower and I'm just going to begin by tracing the top with a nice sad face and then we're going to trace the bottom with a nice little happy face now right in the middle I'm going to make a small circle so we'll just go ahead and make a sad face for the top and then we'll make a happy face for the bottom I'm going to draw a line that comes across here and then same thing over here let's make a nice line across then we'll do a sad face right here same thing here line across line across and then we'll just go ahead and make a nice smiley face right there now starting up here at the top I want to make a small little bow so I'm going to draw a little half circle shape like this I'll make lines going to come out and down and same thing here I'm going to make a line it's going to come out and down and we'll make two little lines right in here now starting here I'm going to make a line that comes down and then same thing over here I'm going to make a line that comes down and I'll do the same thing down here we'll just continue this line down you can see I'm kind of curving it in and same thing here just bring this line down this way it looks like there's some like wrapping paper on it now starting here I'm going to make some little zigzag or diagonal lines I should say right across here so I'm just going to make some diagonal lines across and I'm just going to kind of continue these over here as well and I'm just going to eventually do like a little red and white pattern on here just so kind of has like a candy cane effect now once we have this all drawn out then we want to open this up and work on the inside after we open it up we have two halves of our Pokeball the top and the bottom now we gotta work on this so I'm going to begin by bringing these lines down just a little bit so do all these lines down just a little bit and they'll bring all these lines up just small a little bit next we just want to draw a line that comes straight across here and then we want to make a line that's just going to come straight across here that way when we have it all closed up we it still looks like the Pokeball is full now right inside of here we want to make a little Christmas Pikachu so I'm going to start right here and I'm going to begin by making a line that's going to curve up and then in a little bit and we'll do the same thing here I'm just going to curve up and in a little bit next I'm going to bring this up just a tiny bit and then I want to make a line that's going to come right across now starting right here I'm going to bring this line up I'm going to come over and we're going to go down and connect it now I want to make his ear sticking out of here so I'm going to draw a line that's going to come up to a point and we're going to bring it back same thing here I'm going to bring this line up to a point and then bring it down we'll make a little line here and I'm going to bring this line up and down we'll make this come out and right to here and we'll put a small little circle at the end for the Santa hat they'll make two little lines on here a little curved line for the ends of the ear now starting here I'm going to make a line it's going to come out on each side for the arms we'll do a couple little fingers on each hand and then we're going to bring these lines back just like this now I'm going to bring a line down on each side next we're going to bring the line is going to go up and down up and down and then up and then down like this for the tail we'll bring life's going to come over and we'll go up and down up and down up and then down here now let's work on the face of Pikachu so I'm going to start right here and I'm going to make a circle for an eye I'm going to leave some space and then I'll make another Circle for an eye right here I'm going to add a smaller circle at the top and then we'll just go ahead and color in the rest of the eye we'll make a little black dot for the nose and then we're going to make a little line it's going to curve up and it's going to come back down and up for the top of the mouth and we're going to make lines going to go down and then up for the mouth with a little line across I want to make a circle right here for one of his cheeks and then the second Circle right over here we'll make a little line down here then just to kind of add some extra little details I'm going to make a hook shape and then I'll make another hook shape right around here so for like a little candy cane and then we'll add a couple little stripes on here same thing here we'll make a little hook shape we'll make another hook shape and I'll put some stripes on here then we'll do one more here make a hook shape a second one and then we'll make some little stripes on it and I'm gonna make some little lines coming off these so it looks like they're all kind of shooting out and I think I'll put a second line on there just to make it look a little more interesting and there you go there is your drawing of your little Pikachu pokeball Christmas surprise fold so it's all folded up we have a little Christmas Pokeball and then once it's open we have Pikachu popping out with a Santa hat and there you go I'm
