How To Draw A Cartoon Frog

hey austin tell our friends what we're going to draw today a frog yeah a cartoon frog yeah yeah your name is austin right yeah and my name's rob and we love drawing together right yeah yeah how old are you four years old and so we're gonna keep this lesson super easy for young artists you ready to start drawing yeah okay got your marker yeah all right let's do it we are using sharpies but our art friends at home don't have to if they don't want to they can use a pencil or a crayon yeah and we're also going to use oil pastels to color our frog at the end okay okay so we're starting with our paper like this horizontal we have two sheets of paper so the marker doesn't go through to the table okay and we just need green for the entire photo we just need green huh and we're gonna use light green and a dark green yeah okay let's start first step we're gonna draw a circle and this is for our frog's eye so we're gonna draw one kind of in the middle of the paper right about here good now we're gonna color that in and i'm gonna color everything except for a little dot good just like that and then that looks like there's light shining on his eyes yeah yeah okay now we're going to draw a circle over here on the right next to it and we want it to be the same size as the other one good you could probably draw that a little bit bigger but we're going to color it in two except for a little light for a little reflection good job awesome are you having fun yeah good okay now we're going to draw the top of his eyes we're going to draw a u-shape over the top on this side and a u on this side over his eyes yeah it kind of looks like a circle good and then we're going to connect them so we're going to connect the two u's yes oh a little bump glass yeah it does okay now we're going to start drawing his body so we're going to draw a curve that comes down on both sides okay so we're going to do a dot okay we'll do a dot from there and adapt to there and then we're gonna do one over here and we want to go down the same okay same length good good job okay now we're going to draw his front legs so we're going to draw a u shape that comes down and then back up can you draw a really long u shape we'll start there come down to here and then back up yeah and then back up good job and then on the other side we're going to do the same thing and draw another leg on the front that's over here and goes all the way down and then back up it was wobbly good job good all right okay now let's draw his feet so we're gonna draw a back foot like this a curve that connects from here and curves around to there good and then on the other side we're going to do the same thing on a c shape yeah start at the bottom and go around to there yes good job okay now we can connect between his two front legs for his body good job okay what's he missing his mouth yeah he's missing her mouth let's put a little smile right here in between his eyes good awesome okay now we can draw two little nostrils for his nose good awesome all right what do frogs sit on living pads yeah they sit on lily pads so let's start right here we're gonna draw a circle that goes all the way around to the other side or an oval goes around like this like that it looks like a lily pad so you can start here go around and then back up to over here okay okay oh perfect we did it did you have fun yeah okay should we color them yeah all right we're gonna use blue for the water and then a dark green and a light green you ready to start yeah okay let's let's fast forward right i said good job man give me five did you have fun yeah what was your favorite part of course i really like your nostrils she did a good job we hope you guys had a lot of fun drawing your cartoon frogs with us remember this art activity is for young artists so it's meant to be short and simple see you later our friends goodbye bye
