Hello, this is NotSenz and today i'm going to
cover the process of how to actually install FiveM onto your PC. For those of you that may not
know, FiveM is a modification for the framework of Grand Theft Auto V that allows users to play
on dedicated, custom servers. Additionally, FiveM also has a dedicated single-player mode
where you can load in a previous save game from Grand Theft Auto 5. So getting into how to
actually install FiveM: The first thing you need to do is ensure you have a legal copy
of Grand Theft Auto V installed previously. It is required that you have this installed
and updated prior to downloading FiveM, but once that's completed, the first thing
you need to do is go ahead and go to the FiveM website which is "fivem.net" and I will leave a
link for that in the description of this video. Once you're there click, on "download client"
and what that'll do is it'll pop up the Terms of Service. I do recommend that you read this, but
I've already read this previously, so I'm going to go ahead and click "sure I agree", at the bottom
and then it'll say "Thank you, you are awesome". Which is very nice of them. Then it'll prompt
up a window here asking you to install FiveM. Go ahead and click on "SAVE FILE", and then
wait until the file installs onto your computer. So once you've installed FiveM from your browser,
go ahead and open up your "Downloads" tab and it'll be here. There should also be an icon on the
desktop. Go ahead and double click on it to open it, then it'll say "bootstrapping FiveM" and
then it'll pop up with an update log. Go ahead and let this update. It'll take anywhere from 2 -10
minutes just depending on your internet speed. Once it's installed, it'll ask you to find
your Grand Theft Auto V install folder. For me, it automatically went to my Grand Theft
Auto V install folder, however i'm going to go ahead and show you guys how to actually find
that. If you're using Steam, please go to the hard drive that you've installed your Grand
Theft Auto V in, and click on "SteamLibrary", "steamapps", "common", select "Grand Theft Auto
V" and then click on "select folder". If you have Grand Theft Auto V on Epic Games: just go to
your hard drive where you have your Epic Games installer at, click on "Epic Games" and there will
be a folder called "Grand Theft Auto V" inside of your Epic Games folder. For now I'm just going
to go ahead and go back to the "SteamLibrary", and "steamapps", and "common", because that is
where my Grand Theft Auto V is installed. Once you find it, just click on "select folder". After this, it'll open up the FiveM client. It'll give you a message that says that your FiveM needs to update
the game cache. Just go ahead and click on "yes" and then it'll begin the process of updating and
again it can take from anywhere from 2-10 minutes, just depending on your internet speed. So once that update is completed, your FiveM is officially ready and at
this point you can begin playing on any kind of role-play or dedicated server. So in
order to do that, you need to click on "PLAY", and then you can see here there's just a whole
list of servers that you can join. Some servers are whitelisted and require an
application be filled out in order for you to join or attend their community and
each community has their own separate rules, however other servers are non-whitelisted meaning
that you can just join them whenever. Once you're on this screen, you can search for an IP address
if you're looking for a specific server directly. If not, there are a few sorting options here. So
if you go over here you can filter by country, by tag, as well as you can hide
either the empty or the full servers. Additionally, to the right of that,
there is sorting by server name and players, but this was my tutorial on how to install FiveM.
