but for desktop the size is about six it is not EX exactly 6 ZB click on download no need to register to download open to desktop okay and see here these are the new features in Ubuntu 2404 and system requirements 2 gab dual core processors are processors are 4GB system memory 25 of free hard drive space okay and internet access is helpful okay how to install no need I will okay then click on download wait download you see download has been started click on downloads go to download history see the size is 5.7 GB I'm canceling this one because I have already downloaded UB to 2404 desktop ISO file okay in your case wait until download completes once download is completed then open Oracle VM virtual box if you haven't installed Oracle VM virtual box any information then install it by going through the link provided in the video description of this video open orle VM box click on Oracle VM viral box then click on new or select machion new both are same Okay click on new then provide the name for the virtual machine so it is W to 24 0 for LDS okay then select the path to store this virtual machine files and folders in the drop down select other you're okay with this one it's fine otherwise click on drop down button then select the other then go to the path where you have the NF space create a new folder for this one so going to 244 LDS then select it select the folder then next ISO image from the drop down select the downloaded ISO file click on the other then select the downloaded ub22 2404 desktop select it and click on open see it is ISO image added then select this skip unattended installation if you don't skip it automatically installs so select the check boox and click on next here provide the memory I'm giving four gyes based on the availability we can give and processors I'm giving two then click on next and this is the hard disk or virtual dis size so I'm giving 100 GB then click on next see this is the summary of the virtual Mission click on if you want to modify any one of them you have to click on back back and edit Okay click on finish now also we can edit the virtual machine settings click on settings you can Ed it here then right click on it then select the settings okay and machine and select the settings all three are same okay also see here ISO file is mounted then click on start or right click on then select start then normal start here also we have the same options okay so click on start to start the to 244 on Virtual box to start the installation use up and down arrows select select the try install to and hit enter now select the language select English and click on next accessibility in want to keep the first one and click on next select the keyboard layout I'm going with English us then click on next I have already connected to net select the first one and click on next see here we have the two options install Ubuntu and tryu try is temporary so we have to select the install UB to for Perman installation click on the first one select the first one and click on next here we have the two types of installations interactive or automated I'm going with interactive installation then click on next see here next apps I'm going with default selection then click on next you want to install third party software Graphics you have to select this one otherwise unselect it and click on next also if you want to download and install support for additional media formats you have to select this at present I'm not going to select any one of them so click on next arras this then click on next then create a account so I'm giving account name as R2 schools then this will be the computer name so I'm giving e 244 then this will be the username you can change the username also then I'm okay with the username so provide the password for this user confirm it keep the checkbox and click on next select the region from this world map I'm okay with the current one then click on next see this is the summary of the choices that I have given so I'm okay with all these settings you want go back you have to click on this back button okay so I'm okay with that all the options so click on next and click on install to start the installation of 1 22442 2404 on Virtual box so click on install it started copying the files if you want to see you have to click on here this may take time I'm pausing I will resume once installation is completed see installation has been completed click on restart now see now it is is asking us to remove the installation media then we have to press enter so go to Virtual box manager see ISO is already removed if it is there you have to right click on it and you have to remove dis from the virtual D okay then we have to come to this virtual machion and hit enter click on username then provide the password click on next if you want to enable Ubuntu Pro you have to select this one but I don't want so click on skip for now then click on next if we want to send system data with to team you have to select the first one otherwise select no and click on next click on finish now open Terminal see click on see this is the show application then open Terminal if you have more applications you have to search here search for terminal then click on Terminal now check the version of this open to Mission select more/ Etc OS hyphen release see we have installed
