How to Delete Users on PS4! (EASY) (2022) | SCG

what is going on guys it is Steven your semi-comprehensive guide here and in today's video I'm going to be showing you how to remove users from your PlayStation 4 console so to start go ahead and sign in to a user this doesn't have to be the one we're deleting or the primary user on this console just sign in to any user to go ahead and start the deletion process so I'm going to choose my main user here and then once we're logged in go up to the settings menu and then go down to login settings in here go all the way down to user management and in here we have two options either create or delete user select and delete and in here it's going to give us a list of all the users added to this console so go ahead and select the user you want to delete it's going to let us know that all of the save data screenshots and video clips are going to be deleted from the PlayStation 4 once we remove this user and if this PS4 is the user's primary console it will be deactivated as their primary console so any games that this user has purchased will become locked unless the other users on the console have purchased them as well keep in mind we're not going to be deleting the PSN account so the games themselves will still be tied to this user and they'll still be able to play them when they go to sign in on a different PlayStation console it's just that all their stuff saved locally on this PlayStation 4 will be deleted unless they perform a backup of that stuff before they go to log out so if you want to see how to do a backup I'm going to leave a link down below for a tutorial on how to do that so once you're all good to go and you've gotten all your stuff back to up and you're ready to do this go ahead and select delete it's going to go ahead and deactivate the console as our primary first and it's going to ask us one more time if we are okay with deleting this user from this console so I'm okay I'm going to select yes it's going to take a couple seconds here and it is going to delete the user it's going to let us know that it has been deleted and if we go back here you can see that that user has now been removed so once again the PSN account has not been deleted just the user from this console so if you want to delete that PSN account as well and completely remove the account entirely I'll leave a link on how to do that in the description down below other than that if you have any questions about this process be sure to leave those in the comment section down below if you enjoyed this video be sure to like And subscribe other than that though I've been Steve in your semi-comprehensive guide and be sure to have a wonderful rest of your day
