you know yeah yeah my little my little little nephew is like what four years old or something he was in he was there as well you know and he's enjoyed himself he was highly taken up by Jamie and I had okay you're doing okay awesome awesome awesome I've been I was worshiping today morning and then I preached today morning and by the time I finished it was afternoon and I'm back here again I'm getting my throat done so you can scream throat be healed or something you know awesome I once heard a very I once heard a man say ships don't sink because there's water around it ship sink because of the water that gets into it you know I heard that spoken once and now we're really thinking about that when I realized that what's on the outside really doesn't define a man and that's what the Bible very clearly says in mark chapter 7 verse 15 when you read it says nothing on the outside defiles a man well is what's on the inside that defiles a man like nothing on the outside like we spend too much time abstaining from this staying away from that door doing things but but what's on the inside is what defiles us are you with me you see that's why wow you will hear a lot on the heart like if you've been coming to a while for a while you understand that man we do a lot of heart here and what I'm about to speak today I'm not speaking because I've been so great at it like give me a break you know I'm speaking because of what we go through and how we learn from it I'm able to stand here and speak boldly on this today because of the way we are today very open for things to be dealt with in Allah that's why I'm able to speak this boldly all right otherwise I would ever see it conscience if I'm standing here trying to trying to give you something right we live it now we live in a time now where we're how many of you realize that God is dealt with your sin forever do you realize that right God has dealt with your sin forever like don't look at me so shocked goddess this meteor seems like some of you live interesting tell me more about that like really when you read Hebrews chapter 8 for example from where 7 it says and he's made a new covenant he's made a new covenant right he's made a new covenant what is the new covenant that that I will will be their God and they will be my people in the sense in the sense in the this covenant it's all about God and you like no mediators no mediators you know it's not like you're not like you're gonna use something to connect to God like I will be their God they will be my people and then their trespasses and their sins I will forgive and then he says I will remember no more like when he like like this she says when even before you were born even before you were born he says I will forgive their sins and their and their trespasses in their sins I will remember no more so even before you could enter the way he knew so what am I talking about your your yesterday's your tomorrows he's covered it all it's covered it all you need to be very confident on that so so your life and my life on Earth today is not trying to deal with sin if you understand not like it's not like I'm trying so hard to be sinless and you know I'm not talking about that right but I but I very strongly believe that your life in my life is all about bearing fruit now now you need to you need to get that if not like it's not about Israel it's this sin no not is when am i bearing fruit or not like that's what like that's what this is all about when you when you really understand right well like when when Jesus says I will not leave you orphans but when I go I will send you the spirit so the Holy Spirit comes with a package the package that he comes with his fruit like when he comes there the fruit of this as well that comes and like you need to understand the fruit is what you and I now need to look at right now what's important to you is not a Mayan scene what's important am i bearing fruit my bearing fruit because because my my bearing of fruit makes me realize that I'm becoming more and more like him the word comes to me so I can bear fruit are you are you okay so far yeah so so it's about bearing fruit so so your life in my life is now a bad problem but you know what fruit doesn't I mean how many of you can try very hard and make fruit happen like fruit doesn't happen the more you try the more miserable you'll be at it right but a very beautiful he says I'm the one in you other branches and as long as the branch is connected to the wine the broth so so so what do I need to do to be fruitful I just need to stay connected to the Holy Ghost I just need to be connected to God I just need to be connected to the word and as long as I'm connected as long as I am there as long as I am there I'm gonna bear fruit you know but but but by but my biggest problem is to is to be in that relationship be in that place with God the one thing that comes to fight me everyday is offense are you are you okay so far right like like if I bear fruit I'm gonna be good but what what comes against me from from being there in that place with God like like from be from enjoying the relationship its offense man I don't look at me like that what is offense I we will be live in a world you go sneeze someone God gets offended like I don't understand that thing anymore like I would adjust by uh um passing I would have just made a remark you know what not even my head anymore one month later I didn't come to church because she said that what did I say that's what we're dealing with like what did I actually say like like sweetie help me like I have to call Karen like well what happened like did I say something did you go and say something again but this is me right like I like what prophet Kirby said like long long but you still keep saying we're we're repenting machine in an offensive world he would say you know but that is what that is what it is when you look at it you know what comes to what comes to really stop me from being fruitful what what really stops my blessings over my life what really what really hinders my progress what what is it that I need to fight every day is your fence it's the offense are you okay it's once you learn how to deal with it once you learn how to deal with it like like there are there are different ways to there are different ways to approach you but I'm I'm particularly going to take one way and I'm just gonna help you on one area of it the Bible says in in the book of Romans excuse me the book of Romans chapter 2 and verse 7 it says seek glory and come on man don't tell me you don't know that word seek glory honor and immortality you know what is it a siik glory like many times when you read that were we just get excited with immortality at the end like I am you know and we forget the forget the words before that the see glory and immortality I just want to take this I just want to take one of my like this is something that I dwell on most of the time it's it's honor you know I want to take that and I want to show you a few things are you are you okay are you with me I want to show you a few things that can really help us learn and it can really help us grow right by weeka we come to church why to grow you hear the word every day big because the seed comes into you and it helps you grow it helps you mature and then what's stopping it is your friends that's stopping it how do I deal with these our friends run to my home yeah thank God for the home coaches man otherwise imagine our situation now thank God for the prophets imagine our situation otherwise right but but is that how I'm gonna deal with this every day there needs to be a solution right and I think the solution can be easy if we really start seeking honor hello I just said something I said the solution to your friends can be very easy if you start seeking honor are you with me I even mean look let me let me show you an incident so you'll understand what I'm talking about the incident is in mark chapter 6 let's go to mark chapter 6 I mean it's a passage that you would have all read like a hundred million times right but look at it again praise you Jesus praise you Jesus then he went out from there and came to his own country and his disciples followed him and when the Sabbath where where is he come to his own country and when the Sabbath had come he began to teach in the synagogue and many hearing him where stone is saying where did this man get these things and what wisdom is this which is given to him that such mighty works are performed by his hands okay are you there and and while that was happening simultaneously what is happening is this not the carpenter the son of Mary and the brother of James Joseph Judas and Simon and our his sister's here with that with us so they were offended hahaha hey hey just a minute just a minute just a minute it says and Jesus came back to his home own country and there he was ministering at the synagogue and there were many hearing him there were many who were hearing him and and then some of them are going oh my god where is this wisdom coming from look at the works of his hands and then there are some sitting there hey isn't this isn't this that the carpenter's son aren't they sisters here somewhere and it says and they got offended like what worried what just happened what just happened yeah yeah yeah yeah they begins they became so familiar so so you need to understand the familiarity is a breeding ground of offense you need to understand that it's it's so it's so easy for you to I mean sorry it's so difficult for you to be familiar and not get offended where is that what the hey my good lord I freaked out for a minute that was my voice if you're if you're someone like me you was always like what is happening around me kind of person that should freak you out all right all right everybody calm down that's a phone went wild all right before the phones gone wild all right all right all right okay so so what am I saying familiarity is the breeding ground of offense do you understand what I'm saying you understand what I'm saying guys what is honor let's let's look at let's look at honor first how can I explain honor honor I would explain as to consider something precious like their like the root word the root word of it if you go into the Greek that's what it means it means to consider something precious it could also mean to consider someone precious like like for example you wouldn't like you ladies wouldn't go diamond shopping come back and and throw it on a chair and just walk into the kitchen and start working there like no you you take the diamond to this locker that is that has this particular code going and that thing is connected to your phone by even even if somebody walks past it your phone will be like like why do we do that right why do we do that because it's something very precious like this core value it's go well you if we can learn to live our lives by valuing what is around us by valuing each other by valuing the house that you come to by valuing everybody imagine the kind of life that you'll be living then imagine how easy life will become it's deserted me because I'm so familiar sometimes you become so familiar with Wow it's because you become familiar with while is why you can indulge in or allow others to indulge in certain conversation and sit there and act like school right you're looking at me like these things never happen man like never happen it's because we become familiar with the word is why when somebody starts talking about this word in a way that shouldn't be huh like I have no idea what you're talking about man you do you know that what you're talking about I don't know I like like suddenly I become like Peter I don't know that guy I don't know that Judge I don't know gee I don't know anything I don't know I just I've just got amnesia I'm done like I'm like I don't know who I am yes like like what happened is what happens the moment you get familiar the moment you get familiar it becomes a breeding ground for fence and and as you as you are sitting somewhere not like like allowing others to indulge in something and you think is okay and you can just go back in there and and settle in again and then you're feeling something that you shouldn't be feeling and what's happening your friends is starting to creep in like the most smallest thing that can happen around you that's because that's because you suddenly lost value for it are you okay because you suddenly lost value for it it says it says and Jesus came there and Jesus came there and one and a bunch of people are going who are look at this guy and then another bunch sitting there like who is this guy you know like like like I was heard why am i speaking so boldly again I have been in places probably because I felt like I've been through enough and I don't want one more debate like you understand so I have been in places where my my spiritual father would have been spoken about in a way that it shouldn't and I would have stayed quiet and and and and I would come back and I would think oh my god and I would have excuses like I'm done debating these guys like how many times do I have to do it like like I'm not debating friends like if you understand me like my position is not that I be debating you know some crackheads said and you so and and as much as my excuse could be valid saying oh my god I just don't want to do this it could also mean that have become so familiar with my father that I think is okay man he can deal with it oh oh what am I trying to say soundly when you like oh my god that's not how I well you that's not how I show value people I went when someone sitting there talking about a friend of Allah you see really goes to Wow like what's wrong with you guy what did excuse me I like Wow right so can we like change the topic if you don't mind or if there's something else that we can talk about why is it why is it we not able to stand like why do we have to like like why can we come here jump and jump and jump and then go back and hide the fact that we go somewhere and jump are except in his own you and I need to make sure that it never happens you understand what I mean like this is your house man this is your house and and how you value this house has got nothing to do with your two hours in the evenings here how you value this house it's got everything to do with the rest of the seven and half days you live out there and unless and unless you understand a life of honor you'll be failing miserably and you'll be opening up for all the offense and you'll be dwelling in it and seeking for help coming back and then again dwell in it and then it's gonna be such a messed up cycle that you don't want to get caught up in can I tell you something else look what it says and in his own house now he could do no mighty work there except that he laid hands on a few sick people and he'll can you just look at that line there now he could do no mighty work he could do no not like he didn't want to he just couldn't it's not like whoever told me Thomas Jesus and he says Jesus couldn't like where have you seen that happen ever he says Jesus couldn't do anything in that place do you understand what I'm saying it's not like he wouldn't do it it's not like I didn't has to be spoken of out of knowledge I I sometimes refuse to speak unless I'm really convicted on it and I'm talking on something that's really you know and I'm telling you there is a easy way to live life it's an easy way to live life like like I wouldn't know you at all like some of you I wouldn't know but I want you to know I honor you already it's an easy way of life I forget the people that I know here like there are people that I know from Rocha to Sharlee to do all these guys here you know I just honored him I still write I suddenly brought back so many memories when Rochette came in heal them what was present what was present can you imagine like God is always on duty like oh my god ten people are gathered let me go do something and the power of the Lord was present to heal but what was happening it happened on a certain day as he was teaching and there were Pharisees until almost like a partisan leaders conference happening there right well that's what that's what it is really in other words like those days the the Pharisees and teachers of the law is sitting by okay and the power to heal was present what we could easily miss is that we could we could like we could not look at the first verse of what it really is and go into the second verse and miss the point because the next words immediately say it's and and then behold men brought on a bed the man who was paralyzed whom they sought to bring in and lay before him so so we can be easily miss the point because the very next verse talks about one man being sick but but it says the power to that and the power of the Lord was present to heal them the power was present to heal them so there was there were more than one person sick in the place that day and the power was present to heal them but one man AHA but but it talks about one man who was paralyzed and what did they do they they ripped open the roof and they sent him down to get healed but when you look at the story that were the only person who got healed that day the power was that he who them who got healed one man man who was not part of the them are you okay the power that heal them but another man came through the roof received and went away is still sitting there even though the power was there to heal them it says because keep going down it says yeah and the scribes and the Pharisees them what were the them doing they were sitting there saying who is this who speaks blasphemies who can forgive sins when Jesus verse 22 when Jesus perceived they are thoughts come on come on come on come on come on you need to know that when when I say honor and when I say value I'm not talking about what you do on the outside I'm still talking about on the inside when Jesus perceived their what the power to heal them was there but nothing was happening to them because because of what in their thoughts I okay thank you can't you can't just make this value thing up because because when you know something is directly hindering your blessing you better know it's not something that you can you can't just put a face in Walker a life I evaluate them no no no because if you truly do it's going to affect the way you receive it affects the way you receive the power to bless you is at your doorstep right now somebody needs to hear me I said the power to bless you is at your doorstep right now you mean crying for love bless me Lord and the power to bless you is at your doorstep right now the power to heal was there and every time someone else comes and takes it away because because when get real here get real on the inside not on the outside get real your your most expensive gift to prove that you always somebody is not gonna work like your thought will work did you get that did you get that your most expensive like you can bring the most expensive gift and say Ezra I really honor you but in your thought if that is not the case nothing that's going to happen is what I'm trying to tell you man well you starts here person just got exactly what I was looking for and because you don't know that that your familiarity is stopping you what comes in when you when you look at that offense comes in now you're sitting here like oh I need the miracle I need the miracle but you're so familiar with the bed with the house and the person and the leader that you you that that it should come from you're waiting you're waiting in and then your neighbor comes and takes the same thing and go - hey how are you doing haven't seen you in church for two days two weeks a I'm okay I'm okay I'm very busy very busy very busy very busy suddenly the work that I never had that come up they're very busy hey hey haven't seen you third week now what happened all okay all okay all okay I've suddenly started traveling a lot oh my god been a month since I saw you are you doing well I am doing awesome you know suddenly business is just going red and then finally the truth comes out you know like a month ago hey if you had dealt with your familiarity to begin with you wouldn't have had wasted a month of no word okay what a waste man for always praise Jesus praise Jesus we need to have we need to have this lifestyle and I'm telling you it's the easiest solution I'm not telling you I don't get offended you know I I'm really I'm really trying very hard in my life right now to to really value all the took drivers in Colombo season as the guy who comes you know Easter season sorry everything every Easter season there's that guy and that guy that guy that guy okay it's written it's written Jesus was standing in front of that guy now I want you to I want you to imagine this for a minute now Jesus has been has been whipped whipped literally flesh ripped hanging crown of thorns spat upon like the little piece of cloth on the picture they're not there like it's a bad scene too bad the bad scene bleeding and he doesn't even look like the Jesus that people knew anymore like we've never seen him so we don't know you know he never but he's standing in front of Pilate Pilate says are you a king man just say you're not didn't walk away Jesus looks at him and says I am a king of a kingdom you don't know of what does it take a man to be that way like you don't change according to situations in circumstances oh I need to behave that way here I need to behave that way there oh when I go here I need to know he stands they say I am a king whether you like it or not and I do have a kingdom that is so invisible you can't see it but I know I belong to a kingdom hey well you yourself know who you are know who you are how much do you value yourself if you value yourself you wouldn't be doing half the things that you're doing man come on how much do you actually value yourself if you really value yourself you life telling you when in the breeding ground is shut you're free when familiarity is taken away there's no more room for looking at some lar this one this is how he is now that's how we are right already had a preconceived notion of how Jesus should be like - a source familiar with Jesus Jesus really turned up like Jesus the victorious she didn't even recognize engine you might be the gardener man I'm looking for somebody else here like a moment you become familiar you just lose focus of of the potential in another person like Jesus or not the potential that he had was to become your savior in my Savior but here this woman who is so familiar with the Jesus his little sister looking for him and and and when this person turned up in all these potentials he like I don't know you might be the gardener right I'm looking for someone else and like hello what's wrong with you you already have a preconceived notion of what that person is you are you look at someone of this is who you use gift like if you really understood the gifting and who it is Jesus says to the Cimmerian 1 how would you evaluate the way you value changes and that's what I want you to understand today and and and the way you value when the way you value changes the way you receive changes you need to know this the when the way you value changes the way you receive changes if Wow is only another church for you the way you receive changes but if you value this house for what it really is the way you receive changes if this is just another place that you happen to every now then the way you receive changes it's written that that priest and both these sons God had already like God had already decided that these guys are not gonna be mine like they discarded now because of their way of life right now Israel Israel the nation knows about this the nation knows that God is not with the priests and then both the sons and here is Anna praying Hanna's praying and she praying and she praying and suddenly the priest comes and says a woman are you drunk at such an early hour how would you have reacted if you're like really going through something and pouring your heart out to God and somebody comes what's wrong with you you're drunk at such an early hour you like you find the stone that's nearest to me and that's and that do that to a guy whom God has rejected anyway charity you need standing you're questioning me yeah but this but this woman this woman looks at looks at Jesus looks at the priest there and goes no my lord I am NOT drunk and then he says may you receive according to what you're asking and then the the whole plate turns like the very immediately after that what's written about is is Hannah now ready to give birth and I received a miracle are you with me I'm not what I'm trying to say is you don't try to value others according to who they are and how they value you you don't try to value according to all this um this one I'm gonna value that one not as much no you you find it's your lifestyle are you with me no matter what happens no matter what how you just lived the way you're supposed to live now don't tell me this is very difficult don't tell me this is very difficult like I have been in I can honestly tell you I can openly tell you I've been in hundreds of situations where where I could have done better I have been in I've been in so many different situations that I could have done better if only I had understood value the way I understand value now because because I am learning now that heaven values me do you do you know how much God values you so that means when you understand that you aren't your understanding the culture of heaven it's not control there's no control there's no fear that's not dominating there's only value the they this when you start doing this there's no more like you know I go to office and like one of the one of the things that I get often is it's workplace like like sometimes I just have to allow them to so lost sometimes why is it that one day you wake up and you feel so funny that you don't even want God that you realize that you're hindering every blessing that needs to come your way why do we go came to his own and his own did not receive him like what is receiving well he came to his own he's only no value him but to those who valued him he gave them to be sons okay the word received can be translated as that so so when you when you read I think I must have written it somewhere here in mmm in Matthew chapter 10 verse 40 was what go to Matthew chapter 10 let's just look at that then and much right there and then it says then he says and he who values of profit in the name of a prophet shall receive a Prophet's reward do you get it do you get it so so I I also want you to know that that value is not without a reward value is not without a reward if you if you learn to if you learn to live a life of value that will always be reward there's always reward when you honor that's what you need to understand the honor get the reward can be spiritual the reward can be physical but there's always a revolving this honor there's always a reward it's in any sense and he who values the
