How to cut a watermelon into chunks fast!

hey how's it going everybody Sarasota Tim how to cut a watermelon uh my Publix uh demos I got to do this weekend uh I worked Friday through Monday and two of my demos are giving out watermelon samples because watermelons are in season from April to July in Florida and we're doing a floor fresh Florida uh product demonstration so I got online and said well how do you cut a watermelon is there a secret turns out there is so I'm gonna attempt it right here live for you uh guys that are really good at it can do it in 30 seconds let me see what I can do first thing you do is uh to pick a watermelon by the way is you make sure it's a lot heavier than it looks that's one of the tails that it's a good ripe juicy watermelon I don't see where it says on here if this is seedless or not it was five dollars at Walmart ain't got it I don't need it so because it's round and willy-nilly we want to stabilize it so we want to cut the ends off each each end okay then we want to cut uh I might want to cut that a little further down see this Rhine up here you wanna you wanna cut down all the way down see if I can do it okay my first one not quite close enough but I'll come trim that up follow the Rhine stay with a curvature working out pretty good so far they talk about putting your thumb on the knife right here and keeping your hand as close to the blade without cutting yourself and doing a really good job because I'm not getting too much watermelon off not wasting the product we'll come back around clean that little bit of white off this is great well I show you the rest of it this is fun of course I'll be using uh gloves uh at the Publix I'll be handling it with my hands well this Cuts easy this is a great way to do it [Music] okay then you come around and get the white off nice to have a garbage can near you my first one so I'll go a little a little deeper the next time get down into the red cut this off [Music] cut all that off a little bit of it won't hurt me I've got to get this down here yeah all right how does that look okay no mess so far I got it on this little lid take this little Ryan off here I don't know how that looks on video there's very little okay then the next thing you do the guy shows online he's got one of those gloves like they use in public so they don't cut their hand so be careful come in here and cut this baby right in half okay and then take that one off throw this one over there's some more Ryan here I'll cut that off I'm doing a good job yeah I'm doing a really good job here this is going to be nice I'm gonna chill this up and take it over to my granddaughters this evening so then what you do is you got these two halves we want to do the same thing again depending on the height like if you want this big long watermelons you gotta do a few of them but what we're going to do is we're going to do one and then two nice and easy to cut yourself then they talk about cut this way away from your body to your body so let me show you well I'm left-handed so we're going to go down whoops I don't want to mess it up you got to keep it on there okay and because I started that way and came towards me now I can go away like perpendicular and look at this look at all these bite-sized samples I have look at that [Music] this is seedless watermelon it's a little on the pinkish side so I'll give it a out of a one to five I'll give it a three and three quarter star hmm yeah it's not it's not as red that is red look at that hope you enjoyed the video with Sweden on the left these are perfect size samples to put in my little cup my little cups I'm going to be giving out to people with a plastic fork I'll do a better job at cutting all the the Rind off on my next one so people don't see that to get the sample travel more piece here look at that small one there I didn't even have to cut it that small but you can make those in cups I'm gonna put it in Ziploc bags put it in the refrigerator the granddaughter's gonna love it tonight so hope you enjoyed the video give it a thumbs up and go back and give a thumbs up on my other videos I saw a nun on my social security my latest one I haven't seen any yet um Walmart finally got grapes back in I got my Red Sea with scrapes I like these with snacks as snacks with cheddar cheese the only thing missing is the wine but we know about that story no more wine all right guys that's how you cut a watermelon in a little uh chunks thanks for viewing crush it
