How to Cut 2.5 Inch Strips with the AccuQuilt GO!™

three hi I'm Michele a key quilt and I'm here today to show you how to make super long strips with your two and a half inch strip cutter so the first thing I've done was I have taken my mutating half inch strip cutter and I have marked my blades with a sharpie so that it makes mitt makes it easier for me to know exactly where to lay my fabric as you notice I also put a piece of tape on the end as well so that I don't go too far with my family so what I'm going to do first so I'm going to take my fabric here and I'm going to be sure you know we hate fabric waste so I'm just going to be sure to put it over like this make sure it's before the blades and then I'm going to fan fold it and again on this side making sure that I have my fabric before the end of my place I'm going to take my cutting mat here and I'm going to put that on top I'm going to roll it through the cutter now remember when you're using your app you will go you can use up to six layers of cotton fabric and if you're using a flame or fleece you only want to do about two to three because it's so much thicker okay I'm going to slide my mat off here get rid of that and voila perfectly long strips think how much easier it's going to be for you to do your bindings on your quilts now remember if you have any questions please call us at 888 two five eight seven nine one three or check out our website at wwlp.com
