Hello friend Welcome to my video Here are the steps In this video I show you how to build your own cloud on Windows 11 Go to virtualbox.org and download the latest copy of VirtualBox software for Windows Follow the steps above and install as usual Next step, you need to download the ownCloud Appliance from the ownCloud Appliance download page Download the OwnCloud Virtual appliance image according to your Virtual Machine software After downloading the image, open VirtualBox and click on the Import option Now click on the file browser button and select the downloaded Virtualbox OVA image Once imported start the appliance Doing so launches the installer wizard which helps you specify the core configuration Here you can choose your language You setup a static IP address for own cloud here Choose the default option if you don’t have deep knowledge about Microsoft Active directory and the univention system You will need this to log in to your appliance and administer it You will need this to log in to your appliance and administer it Please write this password down Here you get a finalized confirmation screen Note that if you let the check box to update your system in - the installation will take considerably longer After setting up the Owncloud virtual machine, it will restart automatically and show you the IP address which you can use to access the OwnCloud locally on any system using the browser So Go to your browser and type that given IP address The OwnCloud will open and ask you for the email address to send you the license to activate the Univention software that powered the Owncloud virtual machine Once you get the license file just uploaded and the software will get activated Once activated You should be redirected to the portal Which you can see above If you want to access your cloud storage anywhere, you need to open the port on the router Find the Port Forwarding section -- usually you'll find this feature under the NAT settings Create a new port forwarding that includes the following information Service name: You can use any name For example owncloud Port, You must use port 80 enter your owncloud server ip address DDNS is a handy way for you to refer to a printer server with an easily rememberable name, where the servers ip address is likely to change Duck DNS is a free service which will point a DNS to an IP of your choice Click install at the top For their guide Under operating systems select Windows GUI Next Go to etx.ca and download and install the software You need Java installed on your computer to run this software start it You should see a new tree icon appear Right click on the tray and choose DuckDNS Settings you should now see the settings screen On this screen you must change your token and domain to be the one you want to update to update Then click okay to apply the new settings You should now see the new tray icon When you hover the mouse over and you will see some details of its current status After setting up the owncloud server, we set up the client Here, I set up the client on smartphone Here, I set up the client on smartphone Here I set up the client on Windows As always, if you found this post useful, then subscribe to my YouTube channel As always, if you found this post useful, then subscribe to my YouTube channel
