How to Create HyperV Two Node Cluster Step by Step Full

hi friends welcome to my channel and today I am going to show you installation and configuration of hyper-v Callister with starvin virtual san so for this let's have some idea about my name environment and my dame environm I am using three virtual machine to install and configure hyper-v cluster my first machine is Active Directory domain server which is wind took a 16 DC 0 1 and I have 2 hyper-v hosts hyper-v 0 1 and hyper-v 0 2 so let's check out the machine configuration this is my went to get 16 DC 0 1 I have installed at reactor and DNS row and my domain name is the Clarion facade if you go and check my hyper-v hosts this is my first horse hyper-v 0 1 happens I have installed hyper-v role on this server and joined to my domain also I have created few virtual machine on the hyper-v and on the second mesh second hyper-v hosts I have installed also hyper-v role and join to my domain and I have created one machine on it so this is all about the my virtual machine which I am going to use in this demo so let's move step by step installation and configuration of high political stir so in this demo I am going to use seven step to build and create the create hyper-v clusters so in first past download and install star went on window case 16 TC 0 I am going on my DC going to download I have previously downloaded we start with the latest version for now it starvin was on it so I am going to double-click the setup here is the screen welcome to starve in virtual sense but setup wizard so I am going to click on next I accept the agreement next next next I am going to leave it full and click Next showing me the start main folder create a desktop icon next and this is going to ask for evolution key I have downloaded my evolution key previously so license key I'm going to browse my license key and here next and this is going to give you information next and install so I'm going to close this one it will take few minutes one or two minutes get the installation done for the star when what you Sam I have one drive in my computer my server if I am going to show you computer management so on this management I have one knee about one to be drive for force and failures to run on window KDC 0 and the next step installed failover cursor I am multi path I have a feature on both hyper-v server so I am going on my hyper-v one and on the dashboard I am going to click on manage add roles and features click on next next and select my server next and that server role click Next on the server feature piece I'm going to select failover cluster and it's going to give me pop up its ok add features and I'm going to select multipath click Next and install and the same I am going to click do on my second hyper-v hosts on hyper-v 0 - I'm going to click on manage add roles next next next and on the server role next and the server feature page I'm going to select my fade over cluster or a feature and multipath click Next so once the installation is finished for multipath I am going to reboot my boss over hyper-v 0 1 and hyper-v 0 2 so it's installing the setup so the installation for failover cluster and multi path is completed if I think I was not require eboot so it's not are asking for reboot so it's we are good to go in my next step discovering target portal on hyper-v 0 1 and hyper-v 0 2 I am going on it this is mine epic 0 1 I am going to open command prompt CMD a little bit slow going to open it on the command prompt I am going to type small computer system interface so it's going to launch the iSCSI initiator so on the discovery I am going to click on on discovery portal and I'm going to type my so one name for for watch Wilson going on 8 once local it up to Microsoft sighs because initiator IP address for initiator IP but we'll just select my so well name click OK from here you can see I got the to like for desk 0 1 and disk 0 2 let's find the two targets and say I am going to do on nice hyper-v 0 2 on the discovery I have already but I am going to remove it I'm going to put information once again and it once Microsoft is KC uninitiated IP and click OK and here is our target so most probably we have done these takes and we have done these things and now I am going to configure configuring target and country and configuring multipath so on a hyper-v cito when I am going to launch once I can the initiator and going to select my desk zero and target I'm going to click on connect now I'm going to enable both option enable multipathing on advanced pattern going to select my Microsoft is initiated and the second initiated IP address and my target IP address for I scuzzy so so our star wind so we're going to click on OK ok so here it is it is connected wife with my disc's it on I'm going to do the same on my second target and it's connected and for now I'm going on my hyper v02 I'm going to repeat the same to connect the board disc on my hyper v02 going country Connect multipathing local adapter initiated IP target IP so okay here it is connected and for the disc to going to do the same mm-hm click ok ok so it's connected and for now if you want to check go to computer management or both over one you can see on the test man has been you have to disk for this this one is tangible just to is 2200 GB so first the same can verify both are created attached to our both servers and for enabling multi path I'm going to click on same and ask us initiator on the first I am going to click on device and then or next I am going to configure multipathing so for this I am going to launch you can launch multiply things window from server manager also from here and Pio and you can also type MPI the CPU to long to multiply thing on the discovery multipathing go and select add support for IC device going to select this one and once you apply click on add it's going to ask you to reach triple the server I'm going to reboot my server and see him I am going to do on my hyper-v 0 to close this close this from here I'm going to launch multipathing on the discovery multipathing I am going to select add support for I scuzzy device click add and I'm going to report this over also so once the boss over is booted we are good to go to configure multipathing option for the ice QC so the both hyper-v server is G budget and I'm going to log in net so on happy - I'm going to log in again so it will take few minutes to come back and give us this the server manager screen so just wait for till so the server is rebooted and I am going to configure the multipathing I'm going to open the command prompt and iSCSI initiator and select the desk one and I'm going to click on device and going to click on multipathing and py I'm going to select failover only and apply ok ok and going to do same with the second s and Bui failover only apply ok and ok and ok to close it and if you want to verify it go to select device and the properties my are selected to failover only and we are going to go and I'm going to do the same on my seconds over second hyper-v server I'm going to launch command prompt iSCSI initiator initiator going to launch it and select the disc one device multipathing I am going to select failover only apply ok ok I'm going to do seam on my second desk like ok ok ok so we are done with connecting target and configuring multi and I'm going on my hyper-v 0 1 and going to click on computer management and same going to open computer management on hyper-v to so it's loading the snap and for the computer management and here we are I am going to click on disk management and I'm going to bring my both disk online from the current addresses offline you can see I'm going to click on honor right click an uncivilized disk I am going to select both death and cheap T and click OK it's going to like on both discs are online you can verify from here also once I go through and I am going to create a partition on it need default am click Next and same I am going to do one partition for my 200 GB this I am going to leave it name as it Shan Drive and next and finish once the partition is created you can verify the same on my computer on my computer you can see we have two discs one for 10 GB one for 200 GB I am going to refresh this on my hyper-v co2 and you can see it's connected with my second second hyper-v server also and I'm going to bring online on it also so now you can see it's available on both both hyper be happy with zero and a hyper V zero 2 you can verify it and for now I'm going to do my next step create cluster so I'm going to launch I am going to close it and I am going on tools and failover for Sam Allen manager and from here good close this one and from the validate configuration I am going to click on validate can configuration from the action panel its opening the configuration manager page so we are on valid configuration wizard click knacks and i'm going to select my both hyper-v server so I'm going to type hyper-v check I am going to select my both hyper-v server and ok and it's going to add my both away in selected server here we are I'm going to click on next on the test option we have to select run all tests recommended I am going to leave default and click Next and it's asking for like confirmation to begin the test I'm going to click Next and it's going to take a take care like validation for all our configuration and check we are good to go to create a cluster with these configuration which is right now one on our hyper-v server or we require anything so it's going to give us wording or error or we are going to go to create the Costa so just waiting to complete this validation the test is almost complete so it's valuating the network communication so we configuration when the validation is completed successfully and we have success in inventory and hyper-v configuration we have few warning in storage and networking and moreover we are good to go to create a cluster so I am going to take on create cluster now using this the validated nodes and click on finish or it's going to launch ik creator click create cluster with that I am going to click on next and I'm going to put my one IP address for my crystals where I'm going to use 2:03 and my name for the clusters I am going to use broad production hyper-v so click on next so I'm going to click production hyper-v I have already already object with the same name in a collector so we got the error so I'm going to use broad hyper-v cluster and I'm going to change the IP address to 20 and click Next it's validating settings please wait and we are good to go IP address test and at two nodes and our Christian oil and going to click on next and now it's creating the cluster in for the hyper-v it's creating like few objects in the active directory and we're just doing the DNA rnd stings so just wait for few seconds to get the get the cluster created on our infrastructure for the hyper-v so it's creating the cluster it will take one or two just 1/2 minute to create a cluster so you can see cluster is completed surely you have successfully completed the create custom is that I am going to click on finish and it's going to launch the like add the question in our hyper-v Oh failover custom manager and here we are we have a cluster manager now its role and storage we have two nodes in our cluster and we have two discs the first disc is going 10 GB disk is required for the quorum and the second for available storage so in the next step add I'm going to do the final step add cluster sheer volume so I'm going to click on sec select my second disk and I'm going to click on on the right click and add cluster shared volume so I'm going to click on right now it's F Drive if I go to here I can see it's I have Drive so I'm going to click on on the on my second is our to cluster shared volume so once I click on there you can see goes to its converted to assign to from assign to true collector shared volume and if I go to my make a methods and visible from here and if I go to my C Drive here is the cost of volume you can verify this is the path for the cluster sheer volume and for the same you can verify on our hyper-v 0 2 here it is so so we have completed successfully installation and come and configuration of hyper-v coaster with the starWind virtual San and thanks for watching please subscribe me
