- What's going on? My name is Simon. And in this video, I'll show you step-by-step
how to build a Shopify dropshipping store from start to finish. So after watching this tutorial, you are gonna be able to
take any dropshipping product and build a branded Shopify
store around that product. We're gonna be covering every single step. So all you need to do is
follow along with this video. And at the end, you'll have your own finished
branded Shopify store, ready to make your first sales. Now to make things a bit
easier and more efficient for testing new products
and building Shopify stores, I've created a store set up checklist, and I'm gonna leave a
link to this checklist down below in the description
so you can use it as well whenever creating a new Shopify store. So let's get started with the video. (ambient music) All right. So here's exactly how a
dropshipping store works. First, we're going to find a product that we can sell online. So for example, this three in one charging
device for Apple products that we can find on AliExpress for $19. Then we're gonna build a Shopify store where we will sell this product for $59. To get people visiting our store, we'll have to run some ads
on social media platforms like Facebook or TikTok. When somebody orders the
product on our store, we will then buy the product ourselves, in this example, on AliExpress for $19. But we will ship the product
directly to the customer who bought it for $59
on our Shopify store. So after product cost, shipping, advertising cost and processing fees, we should be able to make a good profit with every sale on our store. The main benefit of running
a dropshipping store is that we don't need to
buy and store products before we sell them. Only when we get a sale on our store, we'll buy the product and ship
it directly to the customer. So because we don't need to
buy any inventory in advance, starting a dropshipping store doesn't require a lot of money to start. So how do we find products to sell? Products that work best
on dropshipping stores are products that have a wow factor, meaning that it easily
wraps people's attention when they see ads about
the product on social media platforms like Facebook or TikTok. It's also helpful if the
product solves a problem and is in a passionate niche. Like for example, fitness,
personal care, or pet products. An easy way to find products
that are already working well is to simply go to Facebook and look at the ads that you see there. Usually it's quite obvious
if they're dropshipping the product that they're selling. We can also go to TikTok and type in "TikTok make me buy it." And here we'll find tons
of product ideas as well. If you wanna save some time
when looking for products, you can also use a product
research tool called Minea. Minea filters out winning products for you and gives you all the information you need to sell those products. I'll leave link to this tool
down below in the description. Once we find a potential product, we'll go look for suppliers
who are selling this product. Usually those suppliers are in China. AliExpress.com is where we'll
be able to find most products for a very cheap price. Alibaba.com is also a very
good place to find suppliers. However, oftentimes they only selling bulk so you'd have to order
a lot of units at once, which isn't optimal for dropshipping. Nowadays you'll also find many
dropshipping suppliers with warehouses in the US and Europe. By using these suppliers, you'll be able to offer
quicker shipping times, but usually the products
are a bit more expensive compared to AliExpress. I'll leave some links to
suppliers with local warehouses to get our free trial for Shopify. So I'm gonna leave the link
to this specific landing page down below in the description. It's gonna be my commerce

email address right here, and then we're gonna just
click on start free trial. Then here we're gonna type in a password and decide on a store name. Now, if you don't know what
your store name is gonna be, don't worry. Just type in something generic
because we can always change our store name later on. So just type in something and then click on create your store. Then here we're gonna simply
skip all the questions because it really doesn't matter. And then we're gonna decide
on what country our business is located and click on enter my store. Now we are in the dashboard
of our Shopify store where we're gonna start
by choosing a theme. This is gonna give us the
basic structure for our store. So I'm gonna click on
online store right here on the left side and then on themes. And then as we can see, the current theme that
is already installed is the Dawn theme right here. I'm actually gonna choose a different one, and I'm gonna go with
one of the three themes. So I'm gonna click on explore
free themes right here, and then you can see nine
different free themes. For this store, I'm gonna
choose the Sense theme, which I really like, and
I'm gonna click on Sense. And then I'm gonna click
on add to a theme library. And then once the new
theme has been installed, we simply click on actions
and then click on publish. Then again, confirm, publish. And now we have switched
from default theme, which was the Dawn theme to
the new one, the Sense theme. And now the next step is to import our product to our Shopify store. So I'm gonna be dropshipping
from AliExpress, which is the most popular place
to dropship products from. And when you dropship from AliExpress, you can use a tool called DSers, which makes things a lot easier. So this allows you to
simply import any product from AliExpress to your Shopify store. And then it also makes
fulfilling the orders a lot easier once you start getting sales. So I'm gonna leave a link to this tool down below in the description. So click on that link and
then once you're here, simply click on try it free. Then here you can simply create an account with your email and a password, and then click on create account. And now here we can link our Shopify store by clicking on Shopify right here. And that will take us
to the Shopify app store where we're gonna install the DSers' AliExpress dropshipping app. So here we simply click on add app. Then here we wanna make sure
that this is our Shopify email address that we
have just used to sign up for Shopify with and then click on yes. Then click on install app right here. Then we're gonna have to
choose a plan for this app. I'm gonna go with the
basic plan, which is free. So I'm gonna click on
get started right here. And then here we're gonna
click on AliExpress. So now we need to connect
our DSers app to AliExpress. So if you already have
an AliExpress account, you can sign in right here. I actually like to create
a new AliExpress account for every new store. So I'm gonna click on register and then create a new
AliExpress account right here. Then here we're gonna click on authorize and now we can start importing products by clicking right here. Then we can simply skip
the tutorial right here, because I'm gonna show you
everything that you need to know. Now we also need to install the Chrome extension for DSers. So we're gonna click on
home here on the top left, and then we're gonna
click on Chrome extension. So you're gonna need to use
the Google Chrome browser in order for this to work. So we're gonna click on
add to Chrome right here and then confirm add extension. And that will add the Chrome
extension here to the browser. However, in order for us
to see it at all times, we need to click on the puzzle icon and then make this pin
icon blue right here, and then we can always see
the extension here on the top. Now we also need to log
into our DSers account. So we're gonna click on DSers right here, that'll take us to the homepage. And then we're gonna click on login and that should automatically
connect our Chrome extension to our DSers account. So once that is done, we can go back to the AliExpress page where we're gonna drop
ship the product from. And as you can see here on the bottom, we have a new button
that says add to DSers, which we're gonna use to
import our product to Shopify. So before we do that, I wanna quickly show you that here on the top with your extension, you can also change some options. So here for the option, we're gonna leave this at
all for the shipping methods. If you're gonna sell in another
country apart from the US, you also wanna change
the country right here. So for example, if you would
sell in the United Kingdom, we would choose United Kingdom right here, and then also change the
currency to British pounds. However, I wanna sell this
product in the United States. I'm gonna leave United States and also leave the currency at US dollars. Click on update settings. And then I wanna read out the page again just to make sure that
the import button works. And now I'm gonna click on add to DSers here on the bottom, and now it will import my
product to my DSers account. So now we can go back
to our DSers dashboard and click on import list
here on the left side. And now we can see our
product is on our import list where we can then push
it to our Shopify store. But before we're gonna do that, we're gonna quickly click on edit product and then make sure we only
import all the variants that we actually want
to sell on our store. So here we're gonna click
on variants where we can see this product comes in
four different colors, white, green, blue, and pink. So for example, if you
would only wanna sell the green version, we could simply delete all
the other versions right here and then it would only
import that one variant. So I wanna sell all the
variants right here. So I'm gonna just leave it as it is. We can also click on the
description and make sure we delete everything that we don't want to import. Doesn't really matter because
we're gonna change everything manually anyway later on when
we create the product page. And then we also have images, so we can just select all the
images that you want to import to your Shopify store. And then what's also important
to click on shipping info and make sure that the
product actually ships to the country you want to sell in. So I want to sell this
product in the United States. I'm gonna type in "United
States," click on the search icon, and then I can see that the product is shipping to the United States. Now the delivery time isn't great, which is very usual with
dropshipping products. I might be able to find this
product with another provider, such as CJ Dropshipping, or Zendrop or Spocket
or something like that, where it's already in a US warehouse where I get a lot lower shipping times. However, in the beginning, I don't like to spend a
lot of time trying to find the perfect supplier for this product, because most products you're
gonna find multiple suppliers, but I wanna test this
product first with some ads and make sure that the product
actually works in the market before I spend more time
finding a good supplier and making sure the shipping
times are as low as possible. So that works fine for me right now. So I'm gonna click on save, and then we can click on
push to Shopify right here. Here we're gonna tick also
publish to online store, and then we're gonna
click on push to Shopify. So now we can go back
to our Shopify store, click on products, and then we can see we have
a new product on our store. Great. So now that we have our
product on our Shopify store, now would be a great time to
think of a good brand name that we want to sell this product under. So one tool that I like to
use for getting inspiration for brand names for Shopify stores is the Namelix Brand Name Generator. So you're gonna find a
link to this down below in the description as well. You can just type in any word that is related to your product. Let's say, for example, Fresh. And then we can click on generate and then decide on what
kind of randomness you want. So let's say medium is fine. Click on generate, and then it will give us some
ideas of what our brand name could be for our store. So you're gonna find
that a lot of these names are already taken. So I like to use this
site more as inspiration. And then another one is just this brand name
generator right here. So let's say for example,
we use the word breeze, then we're gonna click on generate names. So this is actually from Shopify. And then we get a lot of word combinations with the word breeze. So nationwide breeze, octane breeze. Just look for a couple
of names that you think would be a good brand
name for your product. And then once you found one, you can go to this site
right here, namechecker.com, and then you wanna type in
your brand name right here, because you wanna make sure
the domain is available. You wanna make sure the most
important social media sites are available for this name, so that that will help you
market your site later on. And especially, you want
to get the .com domain for your brand name. So the name that I came
up with for this store is MyEasyBreeze. It isn't the best name, but still, it sounds like
it's easy to say MyEasyBreeze and it's very clear what it means. So MyEasyBreeze, the
product is easy to use and it gives me a cool
breeze with the cooling fan. So then I can click on the search icon and then I can see... At one view, I can see all
the most important things that need to be available. So for example, .com is available. That's the most important thing. We have the Facebook available,
Twitter, Tumblr, and so on. So later in the video, I'm also gonna show you
how to create a simple logo very quickly for your brand name, but for now, let's move
on with the product page. So I'm gonna click on the product right here on our Shopify store. And the first thing I'm gonna
do is just delete the product name that is imported from AliExpress, and also the product description. So now that I know my brand name, I'm actually gonna use it for
the product title as well. So I'm gonna type in MyEasyBreeze. And I also like to add this
trademark symbol right here to the end of the brand name, because it looks a lot more official. And then I follow up
with the product name. So let's say mini cooling fan, and then we're gonna move
on to the description. So now just for you to
see where the description of the product will actually
be seen on our store, it's gonna be on the product page when people scroll down
on the product page. So here we can see this
is the product page that we're gonna build right now. And then after the add to cart button, here is where the description starts. So we can add images.
We can add some text. We can add some GIF images. And here is basically where people scroll when they are not sure
if they should buy a... If they should buy the product or if they just need
some more information. So this is a great place
for you to communicate the main benefits that people
are getting with this product, and also address some of the
objections that people have when they think about buying
this specific product. So for example, when people think about, oh, maybe the battery's
not gonna last very long, then tell them how long
the battery is gonna last. And hopefully it's gonna
kill their objection and they're gonna think, okay, this is actually a good product, and then they're gonna end up buying. So this is exactly what we wanna do with our product description. And in order for us to create
that product description, we are gonna have to do some research about our specific product. So the way I like to go about
doing the product research and creating the sales copy for my product is to simply open up a Google Docs. And then here, I'm gonna just
take some notes on everything that I find about the main
benefits of this product, and also some of the
objections that people have in regard to this specific product. And the place where I like to start with the product research
is actually the place where I'm gonna buy this
product from somewhere, I'm gonna dropship it from, which in this case is AliExpress. So here we can simply scroll down and read the description of this product, but usually you don't find
too much information here. You can find some things
about the quality, like the materials they have
used for this specific product, some of the functionality
of the product and so on. But usually I find more
information when I actually go to the customer reviews right here
and just start reading some of the reviews because in the
reviews of actual customers, we can find a lot of information
about why people have bought this product and
what they like about it. So here, for example, we can see fast charging, makes the heat so much more bearable. Battery lasts several hours. So just from this review, we can see that charging fast is kind of an important
topic for this person here, and also battery lasts several hours. So battery life is probably a topic that we want to address in our sales copy. Then we have, "Great handy cooling fan and looks amazing as well." So here we can also make some references about the great design of this fan, because this might also
be a good selling point, why people wanna buy this
because it just looks great. And then another great way
to do some product research is to simply look at other stores that are selling the exact same product, and I'm gonna quickly
show you how to easily find these other stores. So what I do is I simply
take one of the images of this product that I'm selling. So the easiest way is to go
to the description right here, scroll down, and then just drag
this image to your desktop. And then you're gonna open up a new tab and type in "Google Images," and click on Google Images right here. And then what we're gonna
do is we're gonna search for all the websites that
have this specific image. So I'm gonna click on
search by image right here, and now I can simply drag this image in this field right here. And then Google is gonna
give me all the sites that have this image on their page. And naturally, these are
gonna be all the sites that are selling this specific product. So here we can see
another dropshipping store selling the exact same product, and they also are using the
Sense theme as we can see here. So the site already looks kind of similar than what we are building right now. So here you can just go
through the sales copy that they're using right here. And then look at what points you also want to include
in your sales copy. Another great page to go
on is to go on Amazon. People are also selling
this product on Amazon. Then you can simply scroll down, look at the product
description right here. Here you can also find
some important information, some good selling points, and again, go to the reviews as well. So you wanna click on the
reviews, the ratings right here. So now after a couple of
minutes of going through some of the reviews and some
of the product descriptions, I noted down these main benefits
and also these objections that we have to address in
our product description. The next step would be to
create very good headlines from these points right here. Now for all the points
that I wanna address in my sales copy, I quickly
created some headlines, like for example, "Enjoy a
fresh and cool breeze whenever and wherever you want." Or, "MyEasyBreeze is always
with you ready to blow." This is addressing the portable
and compact design benefit. So then once you have
all of your headlines, you wanna also create a quick description for each of the headlines. So in the quick description, you just wanna create like
two or three sentences explaining exactly what the benefit is. Like for example, "Feeling hot? Just take out your MyEasyBreeze
and let it do its job. It will refresh you literally everywhere, at work, while traveling, or just watching Netflix on your phone. The slim and foldable
design makes MyEasyBreeze fit in every bag or pocket. Enjoy the cool breeze hands free with its comfortable strap." So we just wanna create
a compelling description for each of the headlines right here. And now the last step is
to find some good visuals that underline these benefits right here. So you can just use images if you want to, but a even better way
would be to use GIFs, because with a GIF, you can communicate a lot
better how a product works and it's a lot more engaging. It keeps people on the page
a lot more than just images. If you have a video
available for your product, which in the case of
this product, we have, because this first one
here, this is a video. Then what you wanna do is you wanna create some GIFs out of this video. So the way I like to do it
is to just go to inspect, right click and inspect. And then we should be able
to find this video right here by going to the down arrow right here. Then we can see this is
the link of the video, but we're just gonna
open this in a new tab. And then we can see, we should be able to see
the video right here. So now we can click on the three
dots and click on download. And the next tab will be to
simply convert some of these scenes here in this video in a GIF format, which I'm gonna show you how to do now. So once it's downloaded, we can simply go to Google and
type in GIF creator, I think. And that should take us to this ezgif.com, which is a very easy GIF creator. Then we're gonna just direct
the video in right here and then click on upload and make GIF. And then here we have the entire video for this specific product. So what we wanna do is find moments where what we have put here in the description, it will be showcased very well. So for example, "MyEasyBreeze is always
with you ready to blow." I wanna find a part where she basically takes it out of the bag, like right here, and then I can just click
on use current position. This will be the first point of the GIF, and then she takes it
out and she turns it on. So this will be the entire GIF. So I'm just gonna find
the end point right here, click on end time, use current position, and then I'm gonna
click on convert to GIF. And now it will convert that
part of the video to a GIF that I can now download
by just clicking on save right here on the top. And now I have it saved right here. So I'm gonna do that for
every single headline right here that I have for this product. So what I've done is just created a folder for all these GIF images that have created for the product description, as you can see right here. And again, if you can't find any video to create GIFs from, simply use some of the images that you can find for your product that makes sense for your sales copy. So now we have everything that we need for our product description. So we can just copy everything
that we have prepared right here in the Google Docs. Copy and then we can just
paste it into our description. And now we also want to
add our GIFs or images that we have just prepared. So I'm gonna add the first one just here under the first title. So I'm gonna click on
this insert image icon, and then I'm gonna go to my folder where I have the content for this store. And I'm gonna click on GIFs, and I think the first one
is this one right here. So I'm just gonna drag it in. Once it's uploaded, we can simply click on the GIF and then click on insert image. Great. So then I'm basically doing the same thing for all the other GIFs. So the next one will just be right here under the second title. And then here on the bottom,
I also added a guarantee. So this is just a 30-day money
back guarantee for everybody who isn't satisfied with the product. This will just remove some
risk for the customer, which should increase our
overall conversion rate. And I'm also gonna add
an image right here. So it's a bit easier to
see in the description, and it's gonna be this one right here. I used canva.com to create this. It's an easy design tool
where you can just drag in some text and then add a background. So very easy to do. And then all the way on the
top off the description, I actually like to add a bundle offer. That's also a very good way to increase your average order value on your store to entice people to actually
not buy only one product, but to buy two or even more products by giving them a discount. So there are different apps that you can use to
offer people discounts. The easiest way to just start out and test the product is to just
create something like this. Again, just an image where
it says buy two or more, get an extra 20% off or 10% off, or whatever you want to offer. And that will be automatically
applied at checkout, which we're gonna set up in a moment here. And now that we have
all the content in here, what I like to do is just
click on all the images and make sure they are centered, and also the GIFs are centered. And then also the titles. I want to change them from
paragraph to heading three, that just makes them a bit bigger. And then I also want to
make it centered as well. And I'm gonna do that for all the titles and all of the images as well. Awesome. So this is everything that we're gonna do for our product description
to just test this product. And we're gonna look at how
this looks like on our site just in a moment. For now, let's just click
on save to make sure we have all the changes saved, and then let's move on
to the product images. So because we have used
the DSers app to import our product to Shopify, the pictures that are already
here on the product page, they are the ones that we
find here on AliExpress. If you scroll down here, it's just importing all these images, which to be honest, aren't that bad. So I'm gonna use these images that I find right here in AliExpress. Now, sometimes it's very hard to find good images for your product. What you can also do is just go to Google Image search again, and then you wanna do the same
thing as we've done before with the product research. You're just gonna do a search by image, and then you're gonna
drag in one of the images you get from your supplier. And that way you're
gonna find more images. So here when you click on
visually similar images, Google is gonna give you a lot more images of visually similar pictures. And a lot of the time you're
gonna find more images about your specific product
product that you want to sell. And here you wanna be careful to not use any copyrighted images
from other competitors that have already taken
custom made images. But if those images are from the supplier, then usually it's fine to
use them on your store, especially if you just
want to test the product. So for now, I'm just
gonna use these pictures that I have from AliExpress right here. And I'm just gonna
rearrange to order a bit by just dragging these pictures around. So I actually did go and find some more
pictures for this product, because a lot of the
pictures from AliExpress, they had a lot of text on it and I didn't really like
how that looks on the store. So I actually went and used
the method I showed you before to find the same pictures,
but without any text. And I did find some, so these are the ones that I found and then that I want to use on the store. So it's just gonna be
some pictures of people using the product, some of
the different use cases. And then at the end, there's gonna be the
four different variants. So then let's move on to the next step, which is the options for this product. It already has imported
a couple of options. So the color and the "ships from." We can actually delete this one because you don't really
need that on our store. Then for the colors, we can leave it as it is because we are selling all the variants, the white, the green, the blue, the pink. So we're gonna click on done right here, and then we're gonna make
sure that we have pictures for all of the variants. So for the white one, we're gonna click on
this image right here, and then just gonna choose
either this picture or this one. I think I'm gonna choose
this picture right here. And then we're gonna do the same thing for the other variants as well. And then to adjust the
price of the product, we're gonna click on edit for one of these variants right here, and then here for every
variant, we can set a price. So I wanna sell this for 29.99 just to start out and test the product. And I'm also gonna add a
compare price so people can see it's actually on sale. And I'm gonna put here 59.99, so it says that it will be 50% off. And I'm basically doing the same thing for all the other products as well. So the green one, the blue
one, and the pink one, they're all gonna have the same price. So once that's done, we
can go back right here. And then the last step is to
adjust the URL for our product. Now, as you can see, this is
our current URL right here, which looks kind of too
long and not really nice. So we're gonna click on the
edit website SEO button, and the page title is actually fine. MyEasyBreeze Mini Cooling
Fan, looks very branded. You can add a description right here. I'm not gonna bother with that right now. What I'm gonna do is just
change the end of the URL to something that is a bit
shorter, and just MyEasyBreeze. So that's it. Then I'm
gonna click on save. And now, as you probably remember, we have added a bundle discount offer to our product description right here. So when people buy two or more products, they're gonna get a 20% discount. And now we want to actually
set this up in our Shopify dashboard so that the discount
will be automatically applied on the store. So we're gonna again,
click on save right here. And then we're gonna go to the left side and click on discounts right here where we can set up all
the different discounts that we want to offer. We're gonna click on create discount here. Here we can choose from
different discount types. We're gonna use the
amount of order discounts. So we're gonna click here, and then we're gonna do
the automatic discount. We're gonna name this bundle discount, and we're gonna do a 20% off. Again, you don't need to do 20%. You can also do less than
that or more than that, whatever makes sense for
your profit calculation. The reason why we do this is
just that when somebody orders more than one product, then we can save some
money in advertising costs and also in shipping costs, and usually that just gives
us more profit overall. So it's definitely a good
idea to offer bundles for most products. And then minimum purchase requirements. So we are gonna say
minimum quantity of items is gonna be two. So when they buy two or more, they're gonna get the 20%
discount on the entire order. Start date will be today and
then start time doesn't matter. And you can also set an end date, but for this one, it
doesn't really matter. So we're just gonna leave this as it is and click on save discount. So now we're almost finished
with the product page. Let's go into the editor and look what our product
page currently looks like. So let's click on online
store on the left side and then go to themes. And then here we can click on customize just next to our theme, and that will open up the
editor for our online store. So here we are just on the homepage, which is just by default,
made from our template. We're gonna make some more
adjustments right here as well, but for now, let's
change from our homepage to the product page. And here we can just
click on default product, and that will open up the product page that we have just created. Now, what I like to do is actually switch from the desktop view to the mobile view right
here on the top right. That way we can see exactly
how it looks like on mobile, which again, is how most
people will see your page because they're gonna be
visiting from a mobile phone. So this is how our page
currently looks like. We have the image, the
title of the product, the price that we have decided
on, the different variants, and then the add to card
button, the buy button. And then here is the description
that we have prepared with our images and also our GIFs. So that looks all quite clean. That's amazing. And then we have some more
things here on the bottom. Now just so you understand
how this editor works, you basically have all the elements, all the blocks on this
page here on the left side. You can click on them
here and then you can make all the adjustments here on
the right side of the editor. So let's go from top to bottom and make some adjustments
to our product page. So let's start with the announcement bar all the way here on the top. You don't actually need this. So if you don't want it, you can just click on the
delete icon right here, and then it will just
be gone from your page. If you want to undo something, just click on the undo
button right here on the top, and then it will go back
to what it was before. Then here, to change it, we just go to the right side
and I'm gonna actually change a text to this right here. Only today, 50% off and free shipping. And that's everything
that I'm gonna do here for the announcement bar. Then the images are fine here. What I'm gonna do is
remove this store name here from the product page. So I'm gonna just click on it
and then hit the lead icon, and then it will be gone. The title is looking good. Price is looking good, color, quantity. Here, for the buttons, you can actually just change
it to only show one button. So when you click on... When you untick this
option on the right side, you only have the add to cart button, which makes everything seem a bit cleaner. So I like to do that
here on the product page. And then here, we're gonna
scroll down to the description. So we have already
optimized everything here. So that looks good. And then here, these elements
where you can basically click on the arrow and then it
will just show some text. We can use them for our FAQs,
for our product information, how to use shipping,
return policy and so on. So to change these, we
can just click on them. And then at the right side,
we can change them to, for example, FAQ. And then we also wanna
change the icon from a plan to something that makes sense. Let's say, we're gonna use
the question mark for FAQs. And then for the content here, we can just type in all the questions that people have about our product, and then also give the answers
right under the question. Then we're gonna do the same thing here for the other elements here. So this, for example, would be how to use. And then we could just give
a brief description here on how to use this product. If you want to add more of these elements, there could just go to the left side, click on add block right here. And then you can add something
like a collapsible road. This is what this element is. And then it will just add
another one of these elements. And to rearrange these elements, we just go to the left side, hold the element right here, and then drag it wherever
you want it to have, for example, right here. And then it will just change the order. So these are elements that
I would add for this page, simply some FAQs, product information, some technical specifications, how to use section, shipping
policy, and also return policy. Then you could also
use these elements here to talk about your brand, add
some more visuals and stuff. I usually just delete all of them because I think it's too
much for the product page. And after these dropdown menus, I actually want to have the reviews, which we're gonna add later on. So here for all these sections, I'm simply gonna click on remove section on the bottom right. Here again, remove section. So we can just easily delete everything that we don't need on the page. And the last thing that we're
gonna add to our product page is gonna be our product reviews, which are also very important. We're gonna simply import real reviews directly from the AliExpress product page. So here we can see we have
84 reviews for this product, and we're gonna simply
import some of those reviews, including the photos. And we're gonna use an app to do that, which makes it really easy. So I'm gonna leave a link to this app down below in the description. It's the Loox product
reviews and photos app. So click on that link and then
you'll end up on this page right here where we can
simply click on add app. Then we want to click on
install app right here. So as you can see, Loox is a paid application for Shopify. It's actually the only paid
app that I think you need when starting a new store. And the good thing is that
they have a 14-day trial, which should be enough for
us to run the first ads and see if the product is gonna work out. I actually recommend to use
the growth plan right here, because then you get to
import a lot more reviews compared to the beginner plan. Here you only get to
import like 20 reviews, which doesn't look as
good as if you have like, I don't know, 95 reviews for your product. It's just gonna give you
a lot more social proof. So that's why I choose
the growth plan right here and start with the 14-day trial. And now, because we aren't
on any Shopify plan yet and we haven't added a payment method, we're gonna need to do that now. So we're gonna click on
add credit card here. So here you just wanna type
in all your credit card information and click on add credit card, then click on approve. And now let's add some reviews by clicking on let's get started here. So for now, we're gonna
skip the personalization. After we have set the
colors for our store, we're also gonna change the star color for the reviews of this app. So for now, we're just
gonna click on skip here. And then this app will also
send out review requests to your customers after
a specific amount of days after you have fulfilled the order. So you can adjust the message right here, but again, for testing the product, it's not really necessary. So I'm just gonna click
on continue right here. And we can also give a discount to people who leave a review for the product. Again, for now it doesn't really matter so I'm gonna click on skip. And then here, we're gonna
click on import reviews. And now to import our reviews
directly from AliExpress is to simply drag this button here to the bookmarks of your browser. And then we want to go to
the AliExpress product page where we're gonna buy the product from, and then we just need
to click on the bookmark that we have just added, and
then this window will open up. So first we have to decide on what product we want to import the reviews to. So it's just gonna be
this product right here, and then I'm gonna click on a 100 reviews. You can also change the rating. So you can say you only
want to import reviews that are five stars only
or four stars and up. I like to go through each manually and just import all the
reviews that I think are good. And also have some four stars, maybe some three stars as well, because it just makes it
look a lot more realistic. Then all countries is fine. Translate to English is fine. And then I'm gonna just
click on preview and import. Then here you simply want to
go through every single review manually and decide on
if you want to import that specific review or if
you don't want to import it. So I'm gonna click on import for this one because it looks good. It also has pictures. Then the next one also looks good. So let's say, for example, you don't want to import
this specific review, all you need to do is
click on reject right here, and then it will not be
imported to your store. If there are multiple sellers selling the same product on AliExpress, you can also go to the other sellers and import their reviews as well. All you need to do is
go to the product page. Again, click on the bookmark
button that we have added, and then go through the same process. So now let's go back to our
product page here on Shopify and see what has changed. So now, as we can see, we have a couple of reviews here on the product page with the image, which is very nice, and also some text along
with the stars as well. So that looks pretty good. So now the next step is gonna be to adjust some of the colors of our store. So to do that, we're gonna go to theme
settings on the bottom left, and then we're gonna click
on colors right here. And here is where you can see and adjust all of the different colors. So as you can see, we have some colors already set up that come by default with this theme. And we wanna just adjust
some of the colors to make it fit our branding. And what I like to do is to
just go off some of the pictures that we have on our store. So one tool that I like to use for this is called ColorZilla. This is a Chrome extension. I'm gonna put the link down
below in the description for this one as well
that you can just add. And then you're gonna have
this icon here on the top off your browser that
you can just click on and then you can click on pick color. And then you can basically
just hover over your screen and then just pick any
color that you want. So let's pick this green right here. So now we have it saved in the clipboard. So we can just go back to
theme settings, colors, and then let's, for example, change this accent color here to the green that I've just copied like this. And then as we can see, the button has now changed to the green that we also have here with this product. So now it looks very branded. So that's a strategy that I like to use. So the best thing that you can do is just try some different colors, play around with it a bit, play around with some of
these colors right here until everything looks perfect. So after playing around
with the colors a bit, this is the theme that
I decided to go for. So it's gonna have a main
kind of greenish color as a main theme. And then also this kind of
yellow tone here as a background. So now the color theme should be congruent with all the pages except one page, which is the checkout page. So we're gonna go to the
checkout page right here. And then here, we can see that the
button here is still blue, which is the default color. And to change that, we have to click on open
checkout settings here, and then we're gonna scroll
all the way to the bottom. And here where it says checkout
right here at the bottom, we can also change the color theme. So here you can see it's still blue. So we're gonna click here on this button and then we can change it to the green we have just added before like this. And I'm also gonna change
this here as well like this, and now the button should change to green. There we go. And now what's still missing on our store is a nice logo for our brand, which is gonna be placed right here. So now I'm gonna show
you how to quickly create a logo using a tool called canva.com. You'll also find the link to this site down below in the description. It's basically a very
easy to use design tool that you can use to create logos and all kinds of different designs. So the easiest way to create a logo is to simply come up
here to create a design, and then they even have
an option called logo. So you can click on logo. Once you're here, you can just go to the search bar and just type in whatever topic you want to create a logo about. Let's say you want create
a logo about something that has to do with water. So you would just type
in water right here. And then you can see tons
of already pre-made logos on the left side that you can just use. So let's say for example, we
would use this one right here, then it will automatically
put it in your canvas once you click on the logo. And then all you need to do is just change the text right here. So let's say our product is
named Waterhero or something, we could just change the text, maybe delete this part right here. We can also go ahead and change the colors to something like this
or something like this. So as you can see, very easy to use tool. Another thing you can do is if you wanna just
create a custom design, you can just click on create design and then click on custom size. Let's make this a 1,000 in width and 250 in height. Click on create new design. And then you can use
just all the tools here on the left side. So let's say you wanna add a heading, and this is just gonna be
the name of the brands. Let's say MyEasyBreeze. Then we can also change the font. So let's make this Montserrat Classic. Then we can just change
the width right here. You can also add an element to just make it look
more like a nice logo. So I'm gonna go to elements
here on the left side, and then I'm gonna type in,
I think the name was Breeze, something like this breeze icon. And then I found this icon right here, and then I just put it
here at the end of the logo just like this. Let's also change maybe
the color like this. Once the logo is done, you
can just click on share, and then you want to just
download it as a PNG. If you have the premium version of Canva, you can also take the
transparent background option. But if you don't wanna pay for Canva, you can just download it as a
PNG with a white background. And I'm gonna show you how to remove the white background as well. Now I have downloaded the image, but I still have the white background. So what I'm gonna do is go
to a site called remove.bg, where I can just drag in the image here, and then it will automatically
remove the background so I just have the text
and the logo element without any background. So with a transparent background, now I can click on download and then I have now the same
logo without a background. And now to insert our logo to our store, we're gonna simply click
on the header right here or you can also click
here on the left side. And then at the right side, we're just gonna change
here from default logo. We're gonna click on change. We're gonna click on select image and then here we're gonna upload the image that we have just downloaded to the PNG. So now we're gonna click on select, and then we can also change
the size of the logo, but just dragging this
bar to the right side, make it a bit larger, kind of like this. That's great. So now our product page
is pretty much finished. The next thing we're gonna do
is add our policy pages here at the bottom of the footer. So we're gonna go out of
the editor by clicking on the exit icon here at the
top, click on leave page, and then we're gonna go to settings all the way on the bottom left. And then we're gonna go
down to policies right here. And then here, Shopify makes
it very easy for us to create some policies just from
the Shopify templates, by clicking on create
from template right here. And then it will just create
us a generic refund policy that should be applicable
to most online stores. However, you do need to go
through some of the text here and make sure you replace everything that you can find here in the brackets, replace that with your
own business information. And we're gonna do the same
for the private policy as well. So just click on create from template. Here as well, just read
through it real quick and then just replace everything that is here in the brackets. And then the same thing
with terms of service. And then for the shipping
policy, there is no template. So you're gonna have to just insert what is applicable to your store. I'm just gonna use this one right here. And then if you're gonna sell in Europe, you also need to enter
your contact information. And then once that's done,
you just click on save, and we're gonna go out of the settings by clicking on the cross here. And now we also need to add those pages to the bottom of our
website, so in the footer. So what we're gonna do is
we're gonna go to online store and then two navigation right here, and then you can see the two menus. We have the footer menu
and also the main menu. So we wanna put all these
pages in the footer menu. So we're gonna click on
footer menu right here. And then here we can simply
click on add menu item. And then on the right side, we can just insert all of the
pages by going to this link and then going to policies. And then here you can see all the policies that we have just created. So I'm just gonna add them
all manually by clicking on, let's say for example, private policy, click on add, then you do the same thing for all the other policies right here. Once all of them are added,
you can also change the order. So you can just put the
contact information to the top and maybe the terms of service here under the private policy. So that looks good to me
so I'm gonna click on save. And now when we go back to
our online store right here, click on customize. Then when we scroll all the way down, we can see we now have
all the policies here in the footer menu. So now let's also put some content on the homepage of our store. Now, like I said before, we're gonna be sending people
directly to the product page, which we have just spent
some time creating. And then the homepage isn't that important because most people will not
actually click on your homepage and they will never see it. So just to test the product, it doesn't make sense to just spend a lot of time on our homepage. Nevertheless, we're just
gonna quickly create something that looks very good and
then that's gonna be it. And I'm actually gonna edit
this in the desktop view. So I'm gonna change from mobile to desktop because it just makes it a bit easier. So the first thing thing I'm gonna do is just add an image right here. So we're gonna click on the element, then the cover image, we're gonna click on change
and then click on select image. And I'm gonna use this one right here, and then I'm gonna change the text here. So I'm gonna click on the text element, and then here on the top right we can change the text
to whatever we want. Now, here as we can see,
this is a bit too big. So I'm gonna change the heading
size from medium to small. It's still a bit too big. So I'm gonna go to the theme
settings on the bottom left, and then I'm gonna go to typography. And then here we're gonna
change the heading font size from 130% to let's say 110%, and then let's see if that fixes it. Okay. So that looks a lot better. So I'm gonna leave it like
that. I'm gonna click save. Then we can also change the text here. So again, click on the text and then change everything right here. Then I'm gonna edit the button
as well, click on the button. And then here I'm just gonna change it from shop now to buy now. And I'm gonna put the link
that the button goes to, to the product page, so the
MyEasyBreeze product page. Then click on save and there we go. So let's scroll down and see what else we already have on our homepage. So these blocks here are there by default. So we're just gonna delete most of them. So the feature collection we don't need. So we're just gonna click on
remove section here, rich text. We also remove this. Now you can also add something
that I've added right here. As you can see, this would just
be a multi- column section, which you can just add
like this, add section, and then type in multi-column. And then as you can see, you have these sections where you can just enter a title, a description, and also add some images if you want to. Now to just keep this a bit shorter, I'm gonna delete this section and just not care for this homepage, because again, the homepage
isn't that important. And then what we're gonna do also is just add the feature product. Because if somebody lands on our homepage, we still want to show him
where to buy the product. So I'm gonna go to add section and I'm gonna type in product, and I'm gonna use the
feature product element. And then here we have
to choose the product here on the top right. Select product. And then we're gonna choose
our product right here, click on select, click on save, and then that's basically it. So people can see here the main homepage section here at the top. And then when they scroll down,
they also see our product. This also should look
good on mobile as well. So this is what it looks like on mobile. So now the last thing we
wanna do to our front end of our online store is to add a menu. So when people click on
these three lines here, they can see the menu, which is currently home
catalog and contact. And we can also change this. So when we go to exit and
exit out of the editor and we go to navigation again, right here under online store, then we can go to main menu here and here's where we can
make changes to the menu. So for example, I would
delete the catalog right here, and then we can also add just
the product page directly. So I'm gonna click on products and I'm gonna choose this
product, click on add. So people can also see the product page when they click on the menu. I'm actually gonna put
this just under home. And now if you want to, you can also make some
adjustments to your contact page. So to create new pages and adjust pages, you can just click on pages
here under online store. And then we can see, we have one page that is
already created by default, which is the contact page. So when I click on contact right here, and here is where we can
also add some text like this and then click on save. And then when we click
on preview page here, we can see how the page looks like. So it's just gonna be a
form to fill out here. And then we have some
text here at the top, which I have just added. And then when we go back to online store, we can also check out
how the menu looks like. So here, when people click
on these three lines, we can see we have home, then
the product and then contact. And that should be enough for now. We can also check it out, how it looks like on the desktop version. So we have home, then the
product, and then contact page. And now we also wanna change
the favicon of the store, which is gonna be this icon
that you can see right here at the top of the browser. Normally, if you don't change this, it's just gonna be this Shopify icon, which kind of looks unprofessional. So we want to have our
own logo here at the top. So what we're gonna do
is simply use Canva again to create our favicon. So I'm just gonna use this
icon right here as my favicon. So what I'm gonna do is go back to Canva, click on create a design, and now I actually wanna
create just a square design. So I'm just gonna do like
200 times 200 pixels. Create a new design, and then I'm just gonna
look for the same icon. So I'm gonna click on elements, then again, type in breeze icon. And then it was this one right here. So now I can just drag it out like this. And again, this is a paid icon, so you don't need to use paid icons. You can just use free ones
and then you should be able to download it without any watermark. Then we're just gonna go to share and click on download as a PNG. Download and then we're gonna go back to this page right here, remove.bg. And we're gonna upload
the download right here so we can actually remove
the white background and make this a transparent icon. And then once that's done, we're gonna click on download again. And then we can just come
back here to our store, go to theme settings here at the bottom. And then here it says favicon, we're just gonna click here and
now we can select our image. So I'm gonna just drag my favicon in here and then click on select, click save. And now when we preview our store by going to the three dots
here, clicking on view, we can see that the icon is now our logo. And now, as you can see, the URL of our store still
looks kind of unprofessional with .myshopify.com. So we definitely want to
use our own custom domain. So the easiest way would be to just go to your Shopify dashboard,
click on settings, and then go to domains right here. And then you can just
click on buy a new domain and you can buy directly through Shopify, which makes everything very easy. However, you're gonna have to
pay a couple of dollars more compared to if you would go through a site like Namecheap, for example. So here I can see the domain that I want to go for is $9 per year. And if I go through Shopify, let's see, then it's gonna be $14 per year. So personally, I don't mind
paying the extra five bucks for getting the domain
right here on Shopify, because it does make things a lot easier. However, if you want to save some money, you can go through a
side called Namecheap, or any other site where you
can find the domain cheaper. And then you have to go through
the connect existing domain. You wanna tap in your domain here, and then you're gonna see
some instructions on how to connect your domain to your Shopify store. So I'm just gonna go through
buy new domain right here. And then I'm gonna just go through the Shopify buying process here. And then here, you would
just click on buy domain and then it would connect
this domain to your store. Now I'm not gonna go and buy
this domain for this store, because this is just an example. However, for you, just click on buy domain and then it should connect to your store. Awesome. So now the front end setup
of our store is finished. The next thing we need to
look at is some of the backend settings to make sure
everything is set up correctly. So we're gonna go to online store here and then we're gonna go to preferences, and here's where we need
to enter a homepage title. So I'm just gonna enter MyEasyBreeze, which is the name of the product. Then you can also enter some description explaining what your product is about. Then for the social sharing image, we can just add an image that represents our store and our brand. So let me just add this one right here. This is what people will see
when people share your store on social media pages like
Facebook, for example, and also the Facebook pixel. If you are gonna run Facebook ads, you can also set up the
Facebook pixel here. Then here under password protection, we need to make sure to remove
our password from our store so that people can actually go ahead and visit our store and buy our products, because right now it's password protected. And in order for us to
remove the password, we need to go ahead and pick a plan. So when we click on
pick a plan right here, we're gonna end up on this page where we can start a plan with Shopify. So what I recommend you do is just get the basic Shopify plan,
which is the cheapest one. So I'm gonna go with the
monthly basic Shopify plan. And right now, as you've seen
in the beginning of the video, there's a special offer here where we can get three
months for $1 per month. So I'm gonna go with this plan right here. Then here, I'm gonna
choose the monthly option and click on choose billing cycle. And then I'm gonna click on start plan. And now you still will
have your free trial until the 14 days are finished. And then after the 14 days, if
you don't cancel your store, then your credit card will be charged. So once that's done, we can go back to online
store and preferences, and then we can scroll down
to password protection. And now we can untick the
password protection here and click on save. And now our store is live. And now we also wanna go
into some of the settings. So we're gonna go to settings
here on the bottom left and here under store details, you just wanna click on
edited basic information, and here you can change the store name. So in the beginning, if you haven't decided
on your store name yet, and now's the time to
change the store name to the brand you have decided on. So for me, this would be MyEasyBreeze. Click on save. And then you can also adjust your address and your contact information. And then here under store currency, it's important that you
have the currency set up that you want your customers to pay with. So for the United States, it
makes sense to use US dollars. So let's move on to shipping and delivery. It's very important that you set up your shipping rates correctly. So we're gonna go to manage right here. And here you can see
there's already some default shipping rates set up
for the United States and also for the rest of the world. Now I'm gonna set this up manually. So I'm gonna click on the
three dots, click on delete, and then also the same
for rest of the world. Delete right here. And then I'm gonna create a shipping zone. Now the shipping zone is the zone where the rates will apply to. So for example, if I wanna set up
shipping rates for the US, I'm just gonna name the zone US. And then I'm gonna type in United States to look for all the states in the US. I'm gonna tick United States
and then click on done. And now I have a new shipping
zone for the United States, where for that shipping zone, I can now set up specific shipping rates. So here I can click on add rate, and let's just set up
a free shipping rate. So I'm gonna name this free shipping, and the price will be
zero because it's free, and then click on done. And then I can set up another rate, so I can click on ad rate again. And then let's set this
name to express shipping, and let's say I wanna charge
let's say $8 for everybody who wants express shipping, and then I'm gonna click on done. And now people have two different options, so they can choose express
shipping where they're gonna get their package a bit quicker, but then they're gonna have
to pay $8 for shipping. Or also free shipping, which means they're gonna
have to wait a bit longer, but then they're gonna save
some money on shipping. Now we can also set up more shipping zones by just clicking on create
shipping zone here again. And then we can just choose for example, rest of the world and click on done. And then the shipping rate
that we set up right here will just be applicable to
the entire rest of the world and everything that is
not the United States. So here we can just set
up international shipping, and we can say that this is, let's say, $10 for everybody
who we are gonna ship to that's not in the US. We're gonna click on done, and now we have set up our shipping rates. We can click on save right here. Now the next thing we need
to do is set up our payments. So we're gonna click on payments here. In order for us to get paid
for every sale on Shopify, we need to set up our payment providers. So the easiest way would be to
just set up Shopify payments. So if Shopify payments is
available in your country, all you need to do is click
on complete account set up, and then fill out all your
information right here and your bank account as well. And then Shopify will
just wire you the money to your bank account for
every sale that you make. Now, what's also gonna
be set up automatically is gonna be PayPal here. If you don't want PayPal to
be activated on your store, you're gonna need to click on manage and then deactivate PayPal
checkout right here. Now, if you are in a country where Shopify payments is not available, then you're gonna have the possibility to go for a third party payment provider. So you would just go to
add payment methods here, and then you would click
on search by provider. And one that is very
popular to use is Stripe. So you would type in Stripe here. Now it's not gonna come up here because I've set the
location of this store to the United States. But if you were in Europe, for example, then you could use Stripe as well. So this would be an option as well, but definitely make sure to
set up your payment providers before launching your store. And now what I like to
do before launching ads to a new store is to make
sure everything runs well. So I'm gonna go to online store
here, click on the I icon, and that will just open up the store as I would see it when I'm a customer. So I would just go through
the product page here and make sure everything looks perfect. Everything is nice. The reviews are there. And I can also click on
all of the policy pages, make sure they work as well. And then I'm just gonna go through the entire checkout process, adding to cart, going to checkout, and also typing all in all the
information and making sure everything is just looking
exactly how I want it to look before running ads to the store. And I also recommend to do the same thing on your mobile phone, because again, that's
where most of the people will visit your store. When you get your first
sale on your Shopify store, you're also gonna need
to fulfill that order and send the product to your customer. And because we have
installed the DSers app to our Shopify store, it will make it very easy to
fulfill orders from AliExpress. All I need to do is go to
open orders right here. You're gonna see a number
next to open orders. And then here is where you're
gonna see all of the orders. You're gonna see exactly
what kind of variant the customer has ordered. And then you can just
click on fulfill order here on this page and just
confirm everything here, make the payment here, and then the order will be
shipped to your customer.
