How to create a QR Code for selective data in MS Excel

hello everyone and welcome back to smj tech channel today we'll be learning about a new feature in ms excel it's how to generate a qr code based on your information so you can see uh this is what we want to achieve so i have this qr code for each of the employee list that i have with certain information in it so whenever i scan this code i'll have this information in front of me so let's see how we can achieve this so to in order to generate a qr code there are plugins available which we need to insert in the document so first we'll head over to insert go to get add-ins right qr over here press the search button and we'll have qr for office available over here which is the most convenient one so let's add this one press continue and you will see the plugin over here just in case you mistakenly close this plugin somehow you can always go over to the insert tab again go to my add-ins and select this and you will be right back where you started so first we let's understand this add-in it has uh this button over here which basically shows or allows you to select a certain data and use it for generating the qr code you can generate a qr code for urls for certain number geo locations i'll use custom because i'll be using this data in my sheet i will select this uh over here and press this blue button and i can also select a certain number or color off of the qr code next i will select the destination cell where i want to see this qr code i can adjust the size just so that it fits correctly and press insert and there you have it i'll repeat this for this uh next record let me just redo it i didn't select the correct destination there we go and let's do it for the third record select the destination cell insert the qr codes select the data step one tell the qr plugin what the data is step two step three is select the destination cell and step four is insert the qr code so these are the easy steps where you can use this plugin to you know generate qr code based on your information can also be a url so it will generate the qr code for any information that you have selected or specified to it i hope this uh small video would be helpful for you if you want to achieve something similar to this and i hope that you will also like it then please click the like button and keep subscribe to the channel so you can keep listening to the such information from time to time please do take care of yourself and bye bye
