hello everyone thank you all for clicking on this video I hope you all are doing wonderfully well today I'm sharing with you how I made this delicious and easy jollof recipe okay this is super delicious and very easy and I know after watching this video you're going to love making yourself your own easy jollof recipe at home okay so if you haven't subscribed to my channel yet kindly do that and be part of this beautiful family let's get started alright so to a heated pot I'll add in my cooking oil so I will list everything I use in the description box for you to check it out okay so to that I'm going to add some bay leaves I'm using three bay leaves some honey C dry Rosemary gloves and a little bit of Calabash not to make okay stir everything together for about one minute and add in your Blended Pepe and some onions okay this is a lazy day jollof rice that I'm making but trust me it was super delicious okay all right so after adding in my Blended ingredients I'll go ahead and add in some tomato paste I'm using two tomato paste I will share a recipe on how I usually make my tomato paste at home okay so next I'm going to add in some Blended garlic and ginger to give this extra flavor okay you can use the powdered one if you want stir everything together and allow this to cook on medium heat for about five to ten minutes okay all right so after five minutes of cooking it I'm going to give this a very quick stir and just look at how the tomatoes has melts beautifully okay stir your sauce very well and allow it to cook again for about five to ten more minutes and to my extra five more minutes I'm going to go in with some jollof seasoning some curry powder and I also added in some macro you can use any macro of your choice okay rinse your can and add it to your salt because you are not wasting anything at all stir everything together and taste for salt at this point the salt wasn't enough for me so I added in one tablespoon of salt stir everything together and allow this tea to cook on medium heat for about five to ten more minutes [Music] and this is after five minutes of cooking the stew at this point the seal is very cooked now so I'm going to go in with my rice I'm using basmati rice over here if you have any rice you can either use it okay so I'm using three cups of rice I didn't wash it if you want to wash your rice feel free to wash it okay after stirring the rice and the steel together very nicely I'm going to go in with some hot water you can use cold water if you want but trust me this hot water helps the rice to cook very fast okay and I'm using one cup of water because I want the rice and the water level to be at the same place with this way your rice will cook very okay stir everything together and cover this to cook on medium heat or even low heat for about five to ten more minutes okay so this is after five minutes so we're going to give this a very quick stir at this time we still have some water in our rice meaning it's not ready okay stir everything together because we don't want this rice to burn stir and cover it again to cook on medium heat for about five to ten more minutes [Music] so whilst we are cooking our jollof rice I'm going to fry some sausages okay so in my pot I'm going to add some oil and I'll add in some chopped sausages you can use any protein of your choice you can use your cow meat your goats meat any meat at all you can feel free to use okay so I really want this sausages to taste really good so I'll go in with some chicken seasoning stir everything together and let it Steam on medium heat for about two to three more minutes after that I'm going to set this aside okay so after three more minutes this is how the sausages look right now at this point it is ready so I'm going to set this aside so whilst that is going on I'm going to stir my jollof rice again at this point I still have a little bit of water in mind your love but not too much so I'm going to stir everything together very nicely and cover it to cook on medium Heat for about five more minutes okay and one more tip if you really want your jollof rice to cook very well you can cover it with some parchment paper or you can either create holes in your Jello fries and with this way the vapor can pass through your jollof whilst it's still cooking and it will cook very fast trust me okay so let's cover it and cook for additional five more minutes and whilst that is going on I have some ripe plantain which I'm going to enjoy alongside with this gel of okay so let's fry until it is nice and golden brown just as you seen and let's set this aside as well and now our jello fries is looking already right now at this point trust me this thing was giving me Vibes I was tempted to eat it but just me I love crunchiness in my stew and in my jollof rice so I'm going to go ahead and add in my mixed vegetables you can use any vegetable at all okay okay so so I use some chopped carrots green bell peppers and some scallions okay so that I added in my fried sausages and this was given the vibe yes this jollof rice is a must-have just me stir everything together and cover it again for the vegetables to melt a little bit okay if you have case in the house they wouldn't love the crunchiness that much so you need to steam it a little bit so I'm going to cover it for about two to three minutes then Angela
