HOW TO CLEAN SLIDING DOOR TRACKS: Clean your sliding glass door in less than 10 minutes!

[Music] [Applause] [Music] hi everyone welcome to my home today we are going to clean out the tracks to my sliding glass doors as you can see they are really dirty and they haven't been cleaned in a while so it only took me less than 10 minutes to clean them out and to make them look really good and it's actually pretty simple so i'm going to show you exactly what to do to clean out your doors as well let's go ahead and get started so first of all i want to say welcome to my channel my name is emily and this is queen of the household before i started cleaning i went ahead and got my curtains put up and out of the way before you start cleaning the door tracks you're going to want to vacuum out any debris that is left in there [Music] [Music] next you're going to spray the door tracks with any cleanser that you have i used a homemade concoction here this is two teaspoons of castile soap with about two cups of distilled water in my glass spray bottle that i got from grove but any spray will work as long as you are saturating the door track [Music] next you're going to wipe down the areas that you just sprayed and you're going to pick up all of the dirt that is going to come up so i used a paper towel here but it really ended up not working too well with the paper towel because it kept ripping on me and i just i went through probably six or seven different paper towels and so i would recommend using an old rag if you have that i do end up using a rag at the very end but i started out with a paper towel and it worked it does work if you don't have an old rag to use [Music] last you're one i'm going to get the corners so these are kind of hard to get as you're wiping but you can use anything that might work like i was thinking an old toothbrush you could use or a q-tip as long as it is small and can get into the little crevices that will work i decided to use a knife and i just wrapped my paper towel around it and then scraped around the edges as best as i could and then underneath of the door frame as best as i could and got out quite a bit of the dirt that was left behind now i will say that this is when my paper towel started to rip and so i did end up switching to using a rag but um it did work so just get those little crevices cleaned out with whatever works for you [Applause] [Music] and that is it i hope that it was easy enough for you to follow along and get this done at your house too i want to show you a quick before of the door tracks and then and after so you can see the difference that it makes and i hope that you enjoy cleaning your door tracks as well if you like this video give it a thumbs up and of course i would love for you to subscribe if you haven't yet already thanks so much for watching [Music] bye [Music] [Music] [Music] you
