how to charge cordless drill without charger

okay i'm making it as simple as possible for everybody all the uh electricians and everything on youtube make this battery charging difficult have to make an hour explanation using of course the ohms meters and you got to learn how to use that blah blah blah here's the way it is if you have a laptop charger 19 volt at least because i'm going to do a 20 volt lithium ion whatever you want to call it porter cable cordless drill i lost charger kit okay here is a laptop charger it's got 19 volts as long as you got 19 volts you can do your 20 volt which is actually i think these have like 19 volts anyway so if you don't need it anymore you know i leave it unplugged laptop charger 19 volt cut the end off where it plugs into the computer you got black and white wire and on the battery you got a positive you got a negative so the first time i did it i just cut it up and i jammed it in positive negative side like this white black here's the negative side that's black that's white jam it in red then the black one you jam it in on this side this is a negative only difference is i put an alligator clip on this one um it just makes it easier to get in there and clip onto it and it clips right on to it that's the only reason i did that but the first time i didn't have any alligator clips i do negative or positive negative right like that it says right on the battery easy-peasy that's it that's all you need if you lost your charger for your quarter cable 20 volt laptop charger of course leave it unplugged hook it up to here first and you will see a little little little arc there when you plug that in if it has power if not so you plug it in there first positive negative says around the battery a positive negative sticking right in there that's it that easy
