practice you know what i mean i don't know why no there was no show on friday no show on friday there was no shade yeah it's supposed to because of the the medical work right first and foremost i going to the hospital and so uh she's not here tonight she's not here tonight um she is uh she is hanging out with family but she is okay i want to give a big thank you very much for everybody who reached out who gave words of encouragement just checking in on her mrs robie will be back on the stream tomorrow where you guys can say hi and all that sort of stuff so thank you so much for uh i think i just i just want to say it's awesome to have such an awesome community who reaches out and says hey thanks for you know i hope everything's okay um and that you know everything is good so super appreciate that i know people are always bummed when i don't do shows and uh i you know i don't i try very hard not to cancel them unless there's something like super important that i have to do um like ship halo or um you know or if my wife ends up going in there so there's a lot going in there but she is all right everything is good we ended last week on an absolutely absolutely incredible incredible milestone because we for my first month on twitch we crushed wow 25 bucks from barnesboro thank you very much man super appreciate that 25 tip um that's 25 super chat um we crushed a thousand subs on twitch a thousand subs which is crazy for my first full month on twitch you guys are awesome for that um and so i super i'm just grateful for you guys doing all that stuff and being so supportive um we'll talk about giveaways and all that stuff because we got a big we got a packed show today and it's probably a very anticipated build because we're building the 1 000 build today um which i i did a video on about a week and a half ago we released an updated video we have a step-by-step build guide coming out for that on monday of next week but not this week but next week we have a full step-by-step like walk you through bit by bit but then you guys get like a sneak peek here on the live stream and we'll it'll we'll walk people through but it's always it's always different when we actually have to like interact with the audience and all that sort of stuff so um just in case you are new and you're watching this uh post when the stream goes live or if you're that's the giveaways uh let's talk about what's going on the show today today i'm excited um one of the things that was super interesting is this is actually uh it's this is a unique build um it's unique build um for a couple reasons is that this was originally i bought all i purchased all these parts specifically for the step-by-step guide for the youtube video and then uh seoul is sold here i'm hoping his wife is watching um his wife reached out he needs a pc for his wife so he reached out he's like hey i need this and this my budget was x and so he gave me the budget where i was like hey dude well i've got this 1k build do you just want this one and he's like heck yeah so i took it all apart today for the live stream because he wanted to do he paid for the he paid for this uh he paid for the stream we took it all apart he is like literally i'm gonna build this pc and then he's he he won it right like he purchased it right so like hey there we go hit level five let's get us let's give a shout out to you guys level five already i'm getting close to unlocking that level five already and hitting at 13. oh there it is yeah so solo lecture's here he's watching so we've taken the build apart his so his wife's pc will be the immortalized 1k step-by-step build and you know she's getting the stream today um for this pc so it's got it's getting a lot of love um and going from there so this should be pretty cool i'm pretty excited about this uh the plan for today is we're gonna build a pc the actually these these species are actually fairly straightforward they should be a pretty easy build for us to get done and then i'm going to throw in a p thing uh and make sure that we do some benchmarking so you guys can see how this performs because i'm really excited about what we were able to put in this build specifically for 1k comparatively to the original 1k build that we did in january um with like the 550 and all that sort of stuff we got a more powerful pc so if you're looking for a thousand dollar budget of which i have another one that just got finished who's who had a stream for he paid he's paying tomorrow and he's doing a slightly more expensive version than 1k but he was like hey can i do your 1k but i want to get a 3600 xt and a 5700xt he's doing 2xt so it's an all amd 1k ish build so that should be pretty cool so i'm pretty excited hey thank you very much for that so we got a lot going on this should be a super fun day uh i'm i'm excited about this because this is a this is a pc like i feel like when you think about entry levels or for the most part people feel really comfortable around spending a thousand dollars on a build and i've done like i've done some like friday we're doing two pcs at the same time finally i know everybody's been excited about that and that is like two like three thousand dollar pcs uh going in there and we do also have i'm excited we may soon have a commission for fifteen thousand dollar pc so that one will be fun and we'll be doing a commission here on the show uh for a fifteen thousand dollar pc um and so uh we will uh we'll be doing that too so yeah that's a wha yeah the parts list for that is it's a 39 it's a it's a threadripperville uh uh 256 gigs of ram uh it's got like i think it's like eight pyramids red ripper is good for it threadripper he's like video editing all that sort like he's a high-end camera guy so it's a specifically a a camera a particular build so yeah yeah so it's gonna it's gonna be it's gonna be good it's gonna be that that's gonna be fun and that should be sometime in the next hopefully that's this month here's the plan so that's your yeah then um yeah so we got a lot going on uh should be fun uh make sure that you if you are over on twitch how can you pc that we're doing today so for those of you guys who don't know this is this build uh comes in at 1016.92 1016.92 that's pre-tax um really excited about this one by the way the motherboard just came back in stock but the gpu is out of stock so hopefully that'll come back and gpus have been kind of crazy in terms of that but let's start about our cpu cpu for this one is the ryzen 5 sorry ryzen 5 3600x this is a six core 12 thread cpu um it's just kind of it's like the workhorse it's in the other two is like for the price uh for the price that we get for this i should go to i should get your ipad um the price at 219 bucks like such a crazy price for such a ridiculously good cpu um so and there just really isn't anything right now in intel's in intel's um intel's like repertoire that really kind of competes at the price per dollar thing so this is pretty awesome so pretty excited about this right ryzen 5 uh 3600x should be a great cpu um and we'll be we'll be popping that in um for uh seoul's wife which should be cool there's that for motherboard i'm excited about this um ever since the release of b550 when i've done even in the 2k build which is that 2k build we're doing an updated 2k build that video goes live on monday tuesday it goes live on what's the difference between the the 550 and the x570 so i'll talk about that here in a minute so uh we're doing the b550 the asrock b550 phantom gaming um uh people ask always like hey what's the difference between b550 and x570 and basically the difference is that on x570 you get pcie gen 4 across all by 16 all by one and the m.2 slots on b550 you only get it on the first by 16 and you only get it on the first m.2 slot so if you want pcie gen 4 you still get that you still get crossfire and all that sort of stuff but you don't get uh pcie 4 which you know honestly isn't all that important and the other two is like that brings the cost down because you don't have to actively cool the chipset etc which is pretty nice um the reason i chose this one is price number one number two really like asrock and number three includes wi-fi which for for 124 bucks um if you try to do the same thing on x 570 that would be easily like a 160 170 dollar board the one 124 the only thing that you do sacrifice with this one because you get wi-fi as they use the one of the m.2 slots for the wi-fi you only have a single m.2 um which which is kind of a bummer but then again you've still got the sata if you just wanted to do normal status so yes normal sata storage so there you go there's our motherboard good looking motherboard at the same time and so we're good we're good there um okay uh so there's our oh dang it uh the case is wrong by the way that'll be a surprise for everybody we have the wrong case if i knew there was going to be something on the prize it's a prize we were using a different case we doubled we triple checked it and then i still mess up uh for gpu uh the workhorse absolutely love this card i recommend this card a ton this is the geforce rtx 2060 ko 2016 ko is uh for those of you who don't know what the ko is kos is um nvidia when they had a bunch of 2070 or 2080 gpus that didn't quite meet the score uh evga bought them um and then put them in their ko models and their ko models basically punch above uh their weight class so um so this is a 2060 that you know we we we were getting like control at 60 fps um you know easily like we we we did some benchmarks yesterday uh playing with this and we were getting you know 100 plus fps at 1080p at high settings on modern warfare you know what i mean so it's just a really great it's just really um it's just a really great powerful gpu and uh absolutely just just such a beast for the price and so um between this the ko and the ko ultra which is a more powerful version um you just really can't beat um these gpus and so such a really good gpu um so yeah it's like essentially yes it's a so it's also yeah they're also super budget and they have a tendency like the cooling's a little bit they have a tendency to be a little bit louder so there's stuff that you pay for in that but that's uh actually what that's what you actually got going on there um okay for ram uh i use this in there this is the only part that made it from the original 1k oh sorry that in the end.2 uh and that is a g skill rip jaw 5 series 16 gigs 3600 megahertz um actually with the xt apparently the ideal um the ideal ram speed is 3800 but for the x it's 3 600 so it's great for basically it's infinity frame and all that sort of stuff so uh pretty stoked about this making sure we have the right speed this this kit has gone down uh infinity fabric sorry not infinity fabric uh the price has gone down on this kit quite a bit um over the year over the top over time and so right now it's 76 bucks uh it's a really good deal uh great memory kit no rgb so not a lot of bling in this um that's okay i know arginine yeah there's and people are asking will this post yes i i know this posted because i've already built it and it's okay there's no rgb there's no rgb yeah so yeah you're only getting performance at 100 actually there is rgb that's not true so we are good so we're good there there's no rgb on the ram but there is rgb in the build so um for the storage um what we would be putting in this is the crucial p1 one terabyte uh 3d nand uh such a great uh m.2 drive 2400 megabits per second i think is what it is i don't remember what the right speed off of this up on top of my head is um but um two thousand sorry two thousand megabits per second uh the two thousand megabits per second uh where uh is the right read write speed for this one um which you know at a hundred four bucks for one terabyte is such a such a great deal i'm pretty excited about this for when we build this we're actually going to be throwing in an intel 660p um and the main reason we're doing that is because this has already got windows on it and because we want to test it and make sure that it runs and and so we can do benchmarking so we'll be sticking this in there for the benchmarking but when he gets the build it'll have windows and it'll it'll be on there so that is the plan there um let's see uh for our power supply we're using the evga 650 b5 i've become a pretty big fan of these and they're honestly evga's just been killing it in terms of having having stuff in stock that's been the biggest issue is just having uh psus in stock um so they've been doing a good job this is a 650 more than enough power for this drive more than enough power um i don't know there's not a whole lot you can say about this braun certified which means we got that broad certification which we're good with and we're happy there and then case so um this was the only thing uh from a case standpoint when i actually originally released the video um fantastic released their p500 uh case and when they released their p 500 the p 400 went down in 10 bucks and so some a bunch of people wrote me and said hey ruby i know you're using the fractal design mestrified which has kind of been like this this this i don't know almost like this baseline case for um this baseline case for people who want to like build budget a good airflow and now the p 408 was the same price so actually we're not putting in time the fractal design mesh if i see we're putting it inside the phantek p400a which includes three rgb fans in the front which means the overall performance goes up by a billion percent because rgb makes everything better there's only three who would agree a billion percent when you add rgb rainbow puke is basically the blessing of unicorns i'm saying doesn't have enough yeah a billion solar elixir says a billion and he it's his pc oh it does it needs i mean obviously it starts to multiply and so it goes up from there look at that look at this starts over 900 percent there we go we look we've got our rgb fan emotes i don't crazy bernie will agree with me besides my friend don't download more ram that is not a thing please don't i like i've had people really reach out to me when people were like hey so i saw in your chat how do you download ram yeah you don't you don't don't do that don't go to downloadram.com why not doesn't they give me more rgb rgp is a scam yes but rgb is not a scam so please don't please don't go and try and download ram if you have any questions about downloading ram please reach out to me so i can tell me don't do it because it's not a thing that's rgb rgb is not it's it's a lie rgp is a lie rgb off this uh asrock phantom gaming and here we go seoul building your wife's pc so a couple things uh this pc is not new because i've already built it there's gonna be a couple things that'll look different i have repacked it up to as close to retail as i possibly can because i want to give you guys the best experience if you have questions trey is paying attention uh to try and let you guys know i'm paying attention to ignore wow thanks um so yeah like for instance uh this would normally be in a little plastic bag but it's not in there um so that's going in there uh in this in this little bag so you make sure i wanna i wanna give you guys an update if you buy this motherboard this little baggie which actually includes the screw for the m.2 was stuck inside of this manual so if you end up getting this bill you end up going and you don't see the screw check your manual it could have actually fallen in there in terms of what you need we also got wi-fi adapters this comes with the thing so you have those if you want them and then you've got a couple sata connectors if you want to add additional sata but here is the board and you know it's funny because this kind of tells you something about asrock which i really enjoy um about them in general is like just how they care when they package their um when they package their motherboards so when you normally open a motherboard which is pretty typical um you'll get like it'll just kind of be an anti-static bag but anytime you unlock an undo an asrock it always has a piece of foam to kind of protect the back and on their higher end boards it'll even be like zip tied to the foam just to make sure that the the the board is really well taken care of when it goes through never heard of anybody yeah and azeroth does it almost with every one of them so here you go you can actually see and i mean like you can actually see the indentations this is like from the this is actually from the back plate and stuff so i mean you can actually see that this actually does protect so i know big kudos to azrock on that sort of stuff um that they just kind of pay attention and and do that kind of stuff so i always i you know big i just i like to give company shout outs when i see little things like that that i think may make uh good uh make make for good customer experiences um who's ready for the mobo tour this is like it's like my mr rogers moment right here you gotta you got a pointer yeah i got a pointer i got i don't have a real pointer maybe maybe someday i'll i'll have to like maybe somebody will choose a pointer for me someday on your screwdriver doesn't the there's a one part oh yeah but it's a it's a magnet dude i don't wanna yeah i don't wanna i don't wanna do that so yeah i need i need to find like a cool pointer like some sort of neat neat pointer but i don't have one here so you know we're using the knife knife the knife knife knife knife okay so let's walk through what um what the features are for this motherboard so again this is b550 uh when i i said i said a bunch of jargon and people were like what does that even mean when i say that xbox that you get pcie gen four dci e4 is a faster data transfer rate um right now on like older motherboard or on intel and on older amd you have what is called pcie gen 3 which for graphics cards the pcie gen 3 is more than powerful enough where you see stuff is on hard drives and specifically um uh like companies like aureus corsair have 5 000 mega per second m.2 drives that use pcie gen 4. now on an x570 board this is a buy 16 slot this is a buy one and this is a buy eight these actually all will be pcie gen4 and every single m.2 will be pcie gen4 if you have x570 a b550 only the top and only the first by 16 slot will have pcie gen 4. so i just want to let you guys know when i say that stuff that's what i'm actually talking about a knife yeah so that's what that's what i'm talking about um when i when i basically point this stuff out here okay so let's walk through uh actually what's on this this this board in general so for fan headers this right here this little four pin that's a fan header we've got one two three four five five six fan headers on the board which is actually pretty awesome so if you wanted to have six fans and you didn't have a fan hub you could do it nobody ever uses this i mean sometimes you'll use it for like people who use this for like maybe an ai or whatever it was but there's a fan hub there um we've got like uh we've got like a heat spreader for your vrms which is pretty nice but all in all the amount of vrm support is actually uh pretty low but i mean all in all we cut we have a buy eight and a sorry an eight pin and a four pin uh eps connector which means you can do a high end overclocking it's just you don't have a lot of voltage support for that so there's something there but all in all you can do some overclocking on this this board and that'd be okay um for uh this is right here this is your cpu slot so you've got that right here we've got four dim spots for ram um and then again this is dual channel ram on this so you've got a1 and a2 and b1 and b2 these are gonna be your dual channel for your ram uh up here we've got uh rgb connectors we've got a four pin and a three pin uh addressable uh this right here is usb3 we do not have usbc so there is no usbc for sata we've got four sata connectors uh you know a lot of times you'll see this you'll see six or eight but this is only four for this particular one and so there's your four right there so four sata connectors uh down here these are your front panel connectors uh this is your pci your speaker connector um another fan hey thank you very much for that roko uh we've got usb2 um and then over here is your hd audio and i think this is that's com1 i don't know i don't see tpm uh when i say tpm that just means that you can actually do stuff like bitlocker and stuff like that but i don't see a tpm connector and then you've got two bicep two a by 16 a by eight and two by ones um right there so for your uh for your pcie connectors so and then a single m.2 and then an m.2 wi-fi which is one of the reasons i chose this is just to make sure you open uh wi-fi step away from the knife people were like pretty freaked out about it i found it this is what we need to get okay we're gonna get a pointer okay we're gonna get one of those and then finally uh right here this is your b550 chipset right here on x570 this would be actively cooled by a fan but right now on uh this is it right here what's the battery for this battery is uh for clearing your cmos so your bios like your bios this is actually what keeps the settings for your bios if you were to remove this battery it would reset so uh one thing that i will let you guys know when we go in there was we are going to uh we are going to uh uh we are going to be putting thermal paste on the motherboard on the cpu because i've wiped the thermal paste off so just so you know if you get this thing and you install the i o you will not have to put uh the thermal paste on but in this case because i am using i have taken the thermal paste off and cleaned it off that's why we're putting thermal paste on this one so this is your amd ryzen 3600x this is a this is uh the top here's the hs when you grab this try not to hey there we go we've unlocked it try not to grab the sides uh try to grab uh the top we're trying not to touch the top here at the bottom we got all those pins for the pins you want to do you don't really want to do a whole lot to the pins you don't want to lick them which i mean trey always wants me to do but don't lick the pins don't look don't lick the pins stop telling me to lick the pins uh don't lick the pins uh don't uh use them to make like a zen garden don't use them to like uh pop pimples like that's another thing that somebody was saying was like a really good idea is using pins to pop that i mean yeah you you just like put them in there and straight yes squishy yeah popping pimples with your pins not a good deal but you should not do that pimple thin popper yeah pimple pin popping is not you want to take this and then using a vertical horizontal alignment vertical alignment sorry vertical alignment making sure the rising is it vertically aligned you want to basically just shove it stick it in like this don't shove it just drop it in wiggle it just a little bit just a little wiggle like that little wiggle if you can sing the song wiggle it just a little bit what's another wiggle yeah wiggle wiggle we will yeah so yeah make sure you get your wiggle in and then you just want to pull this down just like that and then lock it in and your cpu is installed so yeah that's all there is to it now um normally we would be done and we would just we'd put on our cooler and we'd be good to go but because we have used this cooler we're going to give him better thermal paste we're going to use some of our criminique and give him some better thermal paste and do that on here so we're going to do a little it's time for a little uh baking show guys a little baking show time but let's go thermal paste so if you are following this along and saying i'm going to do the exact same build you do not need to apply thermal paste there's already thermal paste on this uh on this uh cooler so okay so what we're gonna do is we're gonna hook this up like so and there's a little fan header the little fan headers right here at the top i'll show you i guess it's a little too far high too high there's our thermal head there's a little fan header right there so we've hooked up our fan header that's a cpu fan hunter and what you want to do is you want to just basically drop this don't drop it for real you just want to put the screws right on the little holes of the just like that okay and so there you go that's how you get it in there and then what you want to do is you want to start screwing around go ahead i say it's incomplete it's inconclusive really like someone's like yeah just whenever you can get thermal paste replace it but it'll work in the short term i just don't think you should like did you like why are you why are you in that kind of rush to get your pc exactly i'm at a thermal pace i mean maybe like in a pinch like oh we're under a zombie apocalypse and we know use any of the ray tracing so there you go so again jack sucks the 2060 ko outperforms a 2060 super [Music] so again why i'm just curious the 2060 ko it we can actually even show you in the benchmark version he was like i don't want to stream what should i do for gaming so he's upgrading to the 3600 xt and he's doing a 5700 xt which is a much better just gaming up all one so that's the thing is um that's what so i actually don't disagree with jack at all i'm just saying it's like i just want to make sure to set context for this particular build it's a gaming streaming build and the only two is a 2060 gayo is a great card but you could throw in a 5700 xt and that would be that you would have a much more power you would have a more powerful on par with the 2070 super in terms of your gaming performance but no ray tracing which i don't know ray tracing is important to me knowing what i know as a guy who works on halo and all these other next-gen titles that'll use it i would rather have ray tracing so that's just me so i don't understand somebody says what's a good rtx case i don't know what rtx when you say rtx case what does that mean okay so our motherboard is now completely ready guys uh m.2 is in everything is in we've done our dad jokes um i mean this is like you guys are having the greatest moments on the planet right now i mean i just i know how excited you are just to be here and enjoying this freaking moment right now so good everybody's excited it's all it's all going in there so yeah this is this is where we're going in there so yeah echo says there's ray tracing on the x3 there is there is software ray tracing not hardware ray tracing and the performance on that is abysmal so software you can do software ray tracing on on a gtx car yes say for rater but that you're not going to get like a 2060 ko is going to crush a ray traced 5700 xp you know we're all excited about big navi and seeing what big navi does i just right now like it's just hard to argue if you're going to consider ray tracing for you to buy an amd car so i'm i'm cool with like if you want to do it fine i like again if you're just gaming like he's like i want to play gta 5 it's like the best then dude 5700 xt all the way so yeah okay let's get our case out i'm on the case i'm i'm out yeah the invec is the biggest thing right like you can't really argue with the inv yeah invec is the thing so yeah okay uh here we go right here so this is the case so this is not this is not uh this is not the uh the the um uh fractal design mesh if i see this is the fantax p400a this used to be more expensive it's now 89 bucks which is great absolutely awesome case if you want a case for 89 bucks that is king of airflow this is a great airflow case comes with three rgb fans we are gonna have to add a last another fan we've got it right here it's just ready to go ready ready ready to go so yeah great case it is it's an older case uh fantastic has just recently refreshed it with the p500 uh which is built off of the p600s chassis which just has some better things in terms of uh cable management and it's got like the the extra slots for gpu uh cables etc but this is just a great case for uh 89 bucks so yeah pretty excited about this just why add a fan when stock config is the best you uh you have no exit does not come with an exhaust pin so you add one fan for exhaust so i would not say the stock config for this is the best because you have no you have nothing pulling air um i mean air is pushing through but i would still use i still have an exhaust man so i don't know that's a good question i have not played with the i have not done i have not done thermal testing i have not done without an exhaust fan if that is true then you can you could basically pull it out i have not done that testing so if that is true i did not know that yeah i have a p500a down in the garage i'm pretty excited excited about it okay so uh here we are here's our case uh love this case i should probably take the tempered glass off maybe maybe i should uh make it hard what's your favorite atx case uh my favorite eight for a thousand dollar for nine for a hundred dollars i'm really i'm like becoming a huge fan of the p500a because i love the p600s i i'm i love my favorite case is still the phanteks evolve x um just because i love the rgb on the front and all that sort of stuff um uh it's probably my favorite i've used a bunch of that um i'd say outside of that like i'm trying to think of what other cases i really i really love um the new cooler master td500 that's another one that i've really enjoyed another nine it's a recent one from cooler master another really well reviewed airflow case um and then uh the the with the fans and stuff like that uh my the cortana build i did was built in the td 500 so just clean the back so here we go yes that's a great i agree jack jack it's a great case i i'm i think this is a great case and uh it's like it's been it's been crazy to get it in stock but when it is in stock like if i could recommend it like and when it became down 89 bucks it was just kind of like a no-brainer for a case so there we go okay 133 likes on youtube 233 where your fan headers are in this motherboard they're all along the bottom so i've run them down to the bottom and down here so that's why i've actually run this fan and this fan down into this little slot down here and then running down over here so just as an fyi 275r i'd have to look at it again i think i've built in that case i have no issue with it i just like the thing is like when you talk about airflow i mean there's just certain things like mesh is like kind of really nice so yeah it goes from there okay here we go let's go ahead and pop our pop our our motherboard is getting connectors i'll show you these afterwards but we have reset switch power switch and hard drive the hard drive and reset switch go on the bottom and the power switch goes on the top level and i'll show you these zoomed in here in a minute a hard drive goes right here i'll zoom in on it so you guys can see there you go reset switch goes right here next to it and then top right here is the oh there we go okay so that is those are your connections i'll just point them out for you real quick this top one is your power switch underneath it that's your um that's your reset switch and next to it is a hard drive it's a hard drive so those are those those are the three connections for that i just put the magnet on all those screws that okay now we're going to do is we're just going to shove those down like that okay now we're going to do here is we have a couple fan headers so they're just going to go get plugged in and there's a fan that came through that didn't come through so do that okay so first fan header goes right here [Music] the first fan header goes right here our second fan header goes right next to it like this okay fan headers are plugged in now i'm just going to shove the little extra excess down okay last thing is rgb which is this little gray one right next to it you can see a little gray connector right there just go to a 90 degree and just push right down like that and then finally the last one is the hd audio there's a little you can see there's actually a little pin on here that you can't you can only these are all keyed only one way thank you very much is it's just you it's the one thing that's crazy about the motherboard is like if you can use a fan hub then that means you can control it all you control a single fan curve with just one using one thing i think it's crazy when you do it on the motherboard that you have to do a bunch of different fan curves which is always kind of 173 people how many are we doing we have three is there a difference between dual fans and three fans we do not like it's interesting twitch is not as high as it normally is there's only 374 today usually we have like four or five hundred so that's it's interesting i wonder what's going on with twitch today where's the twitch folks 31 i'm looking to replacement what's the best thing to do looking for a 2070. well obviously a 2070 super it means you're gonna get comparable in terms of game performance i'd say a 2080 or 2080 super would be ideal the difference in power between a 2080 and a 2080 super is about six percent um but um all in all right now costs for those gpus are skyrocketing because um people uh nvidia has officially stopped making them um so that makes it hard so if you are gonna upgrade you may just wanna wait until uh the versus here we go right here oh seven thousand this is a 536 with a just an rtx 2060 so you can see we got almost 700 uh 400 points higher than that here's a 36 with a 26 d that's a 2070 super so that'd be on par with probably what you get with the 5700 xt and then here's a 3100 with the 1650 so again you asked about the 1660 look at that difference it scores almost 3 000 points so that'll give you an idea just in terms of where it is but that's our time spy score uh sitting at 74.84 which is awesome okay so let's test it with a game we got a couple games right here uh always the crowd is when you vertically sync that means that you're locking at a certain frame rate but i don't want to i don't want to do that my whole point is to show you what it is like what the maximum what the maximum what the maximum frames you're going to get when you play how much was the monitor i gave away it was like 6.99 okay now i have to like get out of it this is the problem is like now when i play this it's like i don't know i just want to play the game there we go i know they've changed up the mod the menu so much yeah i'm just like i'm like i don't know how to actually do this anymore uh there's lots of modes like the g the monitor i just gave that what monterey gave away is a 240 hertz g-sync the samsung g7 is a 240hz g-sync monitor so uh the giveaways uh the last giveaway we're because this this drive is the one that i use to put on all the different stuff i'm actually gonna put a two terabyte i have a western digital two terabyte drive that we'll use from now on um thanks to western digital for again that up they're gonna be they're my all my ones for benchmarking so they're my benchmarking drives um so they'll uh we're gonna load one of those up and have lots of games on there so one of the things i'm working on this weekend uh for fortnight uh so any i mean like you saw like 20 i9 9900k 2080 super would be great specifically given you've spent so much on the cpu so i'd say 2080 super then 2070 super or 5700 xt uh and then after that the 2060 ko is a great just bang for buck it just depends on budget so coming in on the end and just as a reminder for everybody
