How To Build A CertiFlat WeldTable

well it's another day um got something sweet as you guys can tell by the title i finally got a weld table certa flat or tab and slot or weld tables as most of you guys know uh they actually are a local company to where i live they are a town about 10 minutes away so i finally was able to get on one of their sales and i went and picked this up today i made the order probably a week or two ago when it was like black friday and yeah so finally we're going to be putting this thing together and cannot wait to get this thing rolling it's going to be sweet [Music] so here's the print yeah 24 by 48 i got some squares that we'll be building i might be doing like a separate video on that we'll build up the squares i got two of those actually and then i got some table clamps as well just a couple of those what nice those are nice screws just ripping oh don't do that well basically it's ready to weld dude yeah but i gotta put that together or weld that together before the before i put the legs on but yeah we can open them [Music] [Music] oh dang sonic came with casters that's what's up that's sweet this is how you mount it that's the french got this little flat piece with some bolts to keep the center from sagging other than that it's pretty flat and square just with what we have going on yeah we'll crank this down so i'm replacing this table with that table because as you can tell definitely not flat and definitely junk and it's super heavy because it's full stainless it's nice having the shelves but i'm gonna do some custom stuff with this and make it my own because it's actually worth it all right all right so me and nick got this thing kind of set up how we wanted to i wanted to get it off the ground so and like floating in the middle like it would be if it was already built but not built so i could get these clamps in the middle and make sure we weren't you know having anything be not flat when we're doing this because i want it to be right so we got these cranked down got these in and basically i'll just start in this corner and kind of work my way around and i'll move these as i go it's already pretty square just with having these magnets and all that but yeah it's coming out sweet we just uh we took the legs and then we clamped some scrap square tubing that i had to the legs so it was sturdy and then just put it up on the wood that it came in and it's working out really good so like i said i'm just gonna go around the corner where i want to start and just keep moving around i'm actually going to tig weld it yeah i got this on the ground because it was hanging it was hanging on these legs but got my fupa cup that number 12 ck torch a little grindy boy on there whoops um put all this away it's actually uh christmas eve right now and i gotta run to some family stuff so i'm going to pick this back up uh later tonight or probably tomorrow so you guys know that weld life it never stops so there we have it you guys kind of get to see the shop a little more i can't wait to have this set up so i can actually like use this area and well once the campers move too but i think i'm going to put that kind of in storage and we're gonna do some some custom shelves for everything and i want to buy like some house of chop uh the tig rod holder aluminum or steel whatever it i think it's steel i want to buy that so i can put it on the weld table or on a cart and i want to just make stuff out of sheet metal on this bender so if you guys have anything leave a comment down below let me know what you want to see on the break and on the the uh had a wonderful christmas my family i hope everyone else did too it's been it's been quite a blessing this year so you're sucked but it's been great it's been a really good time met a lot of great people and uh yeah we're just gonna get this table knocked out and keep working because i got a lot more to do so i'm just gonna show you guys my uh wonderful girlfriend's mom and my family they got me some really cool stuff uh this i've been needing i actually been using just like up on top of my tool box here my milwaukee box my 46 inch um i know there is some mounting locations right here i would like like to mount these ones over here and possibly this one because oh this is gonna be a game changer having all my batteries in one spot six pack charger so i can clear up this next i'd like to get the top for it and have all my tools in the top box because they just sit out because this thing's so full but i got this awesome pack out and i want to use that for to replace my current setup this right here stanley i bought this a long time ago just to use for all my consumables and everything but i mean i'm set up pretty good but it's just kind of overflowing and this is a better option i mean i guess it matches all my stuff some levels there these things are sick pocket level some magnets let me open this and kind of see but i figured hey you know tungsten and stuff go in here can take them out and just leave them and they won't get all nasty i don't know it's just i put all my cups and everything so i'll figure it out once the time comes and i'll show you guys how i set it up but yeah this old school torque wrench that's kind of cool to have just to have yeah very very cool very cool so not enough of this i actually ended up buying myself some eight inch genuine speed squares to accommodate with my uh four inch i also got some stops for the table as well some little clamp stops and corner stops that whatever you can do with these i mean there's endless amount of stuff yeah i got two eight inches so we're gonna use these two which really helps so we'll grab the tig torch flip it on and get her done [Music] uh yeah so clamp city got every clamp down here that i own uh if you guys have any clamps that you use like from c clamps to vice grips to table clamps i know a lot of people use the armor ones which i have here i really do like these are super nice quality i'll probably be ordering a bunch more like 30 something a piece for depending what size you get um but yeah throw me some comments below with uh some clamps that'll be awesome other than that i got all these speed squares set up i'm gonna start in a corner work my way around and then move the squares as i go to where i am just to keep it square yeah that's about it we're going to use the everlast 325 with my ck230 series torch flex torch um 12 cup 332nd ck laser tungsten black rice and coffee so i can stay really shaky you know blue demon 16th inch got our 12. they're 16th inch laser ck worldwide tungsten um yeah i'll be burning up this wood a little bit but we'll be okay i'm just gonna do some little stitches in here and make sure she's held down so i can flip it over [Music] let's do it [Music] i got like a thousand freaking milligrams of caffeine in me i think i'm gonna run away [Music] [Music] i need a dang chest mount or something i don't know how you guys make these damn videos so close close to the weld and close to the product it's just [Music] [Music] [Music] so [Music] [Laughter] [Music] [Music] okay [Music] so yeah okay all right that side's welded let's uh get all these clamps off and flip her [Music] over [Music] [Music] well i got some more clamp city beach going on um i got everything pretty much square besides like half of that side there so i'm gonna start welding this and that and up here and just work my way around again [Music] rest of the table will be tig welded i'll flip it over once the wheels and everything are on and i'll take weld the top side where the tab and slot comes through for anyone wondering i have a miller 252 this is a 2018 model or 2019 model uh just a digital 252 miller matic i got o35 wire in here or oh 30 i believe uh yeah i totally forgot to even set up my camera here to record but i'm uh getting this all mig welder ridden adjusted my settings a little bit a little hot but i'm just going quick and getting it getting it done the feet they go like they go in they just like this little block this little block goes in right here but these nuts need to be inside like this so i can they need to be inside like this like the nut on the bottom like the nut welded right there and then this welded in like that so then you could like screw this in or you could screw in the caster wheels kind of see there it sits flush so my guess is the nuts on the back side so that's what i'm going to do quick flip over like that that's just how i'm setting it up to get it on there so just kind of center it up sorry i'm not holding the camera well so i'll just set it up like that weld like two or three sides and then do the next and then i'll unthread it pop it out and flip it over with the nut welded to the plate [Music] so [Music] foreign [Music] ah [Music] so now all i gotta do i'm gonna give this a little little finish grind here just get her down a little bit then i can twist my wheel in nice and flush and uh yeah kind of be able to adjust it from there wherever i need to if i need to but yeah that went really smooth so i'll clean these up get the wheels in clean up any spatter that i left all over this damn thing all over the place top and bottom and then get it flipped over and then i'll tig weld finish weld the where the slot and tab all comes through on the top side so yeah i mean it went together really easy it was all super square and really digging this i'm gonna i'm gonna be ordering another here pretty soon so we got uh milwaukee out with the benchmark abrasives you know the best in the biz uh we're gonna hit these up real quick like i said and then uh flip this girl over after i chip some spatter and get to welding the top side so let's get it [Music] [Music] [Music] oh man this thing is sick all right so here's a little bit of them welds boy so i ended up mig welding basically all the way around where the leg ties into the top of the table so all around these tabs but uh yeah i just stitch welded the centers and then did like a couple tacks one there one on the other side so a bunch of that and then i got stitch welds all up in there but yeah so i grinded those flat i didn't weld all these all the way around just because it it doesn't need it it's welded chip some more spatter yeah it came out awesome i got some plastic to peel off the top and then uh yeah we're gonna flip this thing over and stitch weld that i'll end up probably putting some welds here if anyone's wondering but i just wanted to get it flipped over and everything but yeah i'll get some welds here on the top side or something yo that's my table dog oh yeah finally all right so i cleaned up some of my burnt plastic mishap so we're gonna fire up the old trusty steed everlast over there 325 and uh yeah we're going to tig weld all these here stinking holes man i'm stoked on this i've been like i should have bought this like four years ago like what have i been how have i not like i haven't even used it yet and i'm already saying like how have i not had this so much better look at that that freaking mess over there it sucks i just get clutter so i want to make like custom hangers down here for my clamps because i mean you see me on the videos i'm running around grabbing clamps because i have nowhere to frickin put them so i'm trying to get more efficient i have i mean i have the know-how on how to be more efficient i just don't have the all the tools quite yet make myself some hangers and everything else like that i want to like hang my saws off from this and just do a bunch of stuff but yeah so overall really impressed uh all the packaging and everything was great i am local to this company so i was able to go pick it up like you guys saw in the beginning of the video [Music] so [Music] okay so i'm just gonna get like attack in there and then i'll kind of do like not quite that much but basically that and that's just under so that'll be perfect [Music] [Music] all right we're all done got everything all basically plug welded all the way around just kind of kept on filling it good old fupa cup my tungsten is um yeah came out great i'm gonna d.a any high spots that i do have and run it here you guys go got the table all done as you can tell the squares are done that will be the next video um everything went together great everything is awesome i'm in love with this thing we've already been using it as you can tell built a sweet tank um yeah i'm gonna show you a video on that i've actually been super busy and i've actually been having problems with my memory on with the thing that i record with so it's been hard to get things uploaded and all that jazz so well with that being said guys i hope you like this video uh i hope this
